It was $45 the last time I was there. I did not pay that. I make a reservation for two people and I'm a member with a lot of points who makes a point to fill out the satisfaction questionnaire sent each time.

Oh one other thing I failed to mention and is important. When I checked in I had already paid for my room by Expedia so they never took a credit card from me. That means they didn't have a card number on file so they couldn't charge to my room so that's most likely why I was asked for the payment when I entered with the chica.
I was given my choice of cash or credit and it was 40. So exactly the way it worked was the lady working the front desk asked for the girls ID. She makes a copy of it. She wrote my room number on the copy. She had me sign the copy. She then took my credit card and charged 40. Next she writes down the transaction ID on the copy. After all this she puts a copy of the credit card slip and the copy of the ID in a paper folio and wishes me buenos noches.

I would use this as an opportunity to bargain. Tell them you can pay Cash, but you only have $20. If they say no, then charge it to your Room.
If they give you BS, ask for the General Manager of the Hotel in a LOUD voice. Also, try to record the conversation on your smartphone *discreetly*.

5 days 4 nights. Great time, very modern and safe city especially by Latin American standards. Did a few day excursions but spent most of our time in the city.

A lot of fun. The action at habano's was popping each night but we only did that once. The prices were too high imo. $100 was lowest you could get. Some definite stunners in there but plenty of average ones holding out for high prices too. They all start at 150 but most drop to 100 immediately if you balk at that price. Only had one girl refuse to lower.

We MUCH preferred the girls from Panescorts. $50-70 for 30 m 100 for an hour. About half the price of the girls in habano's. The ones me and my friend had were of as high if not higher quality as the girls in habano's. I actually repeated with a 18 year old stunner from medellin. I never repeat. BBBJ was included with most, they were willing to do multiple pops within the 30 m. Just a great experience especially compared to the girls in habano's who from our experience were mechanical and all covered.

Stayed at an airbnb near habano's with no chica fees.

Didn't try any of the Casas or strip clubs. Not usually our scene.

Doubt I'll be back anytime soon but if you are into this hobby it's definitely worth a stop.

Hello Hobbiests. I wanted to share with you some experiences with Panama City and San Jose Costa Rica. This is all recent. Like as recent as a week ago. Bottom line. Costa Rica is HORRIBLE. Don't go! Panama City is many times better than Costa Rica. These are the things to know:

Immigration at the airport:

PTY. I have never had any issue with delays in getting thru.

SJO. Althought I experienced no delays, I have read multiple accounts of it taking upwards of 2 hours to get thru immigration.

Transportation:

Both PTY and SJO are about the same - 20 - 30 usd from the airport to downtown areas.

Hotels:

PTY. There are many 4 to 5 star options in PTY for on average $65 per night.

SJO. On average the hotels are total shit holes. Many touted ones like La Amistad, Sportsmens and Del Rey are absolutely AWFUL. I stayed at La Amistad and wouldn't even shower it was so bad.

Safety:

PTY. Safe to walk almost anywhere within reason.

SJO. I am not going to risk walking after dark.

Chicas:

PTY. The biggest resource is Habanos. Girls are absolutely gorgeous and around $120st / 250 tln.

SJO. GROSS. Just gross. $100 or more per hour and they are mostly drug addicts.

Overall. You made a wise choice with PTY. Honestly, SJO has some "nice people" but I would never ever go back there when PTY is so CLEAN.

Does anyone know if Hotel Milan (1/8 of a mile east of old Veneto) is Chica friendly? I recently saw $40 rates posted on Expedia. I stayed 3 years ago and it WAS. A new construction project next door w constant noise drove me away. If anyone is in the area looking for a clean room, good restaurant and short 5 minute walk to Habanos perhaps you can recon and let the group know.

Trip Report pt 1 Friday May 24 and Saturday May 25.

Friday.

I arrived in Pty via Miami at around 1 pm. Breeze thru customs. Apparently not like SJO where the waits are over 2 hours at times. Upstairs at the airport departures I caught a cab for 25 to Hyatt Place. Check in was EZ and now it's about 2 so I head to a microbrewery called la Rana Dorada. Excellent coffee flavored beer for a very sticky afternoon. I had 2 pints and it was around $6 - what a deal! I head back to the hotel for a power nap. It's now 7 so I head over to cafe Beruit since I hadn't eaten all day. Great food and great service. After dinner walked around the block until it was 9 and went to Habanos. It was pretty busy at 9 but by 10 it was popping. There were many choices - 2 Sophia's, Sara, Karen, Keyla and literally a hundred others. I got phone numbers but never pulled a girl. Maybe it was just jet lag. Went back to Hyatt Place at midnight and crashed.

Saturday.

I went over to Manolo for breakfast and did some shopping for toiletries on the way to hotel. Checked out SeekingArrangement but these putas are slow to respond and many have GPS so nothing in that department. All is not lost as I have a bunch of new numbers that I gathered from previous night. I text a few and meet in the Marriott for a drink first. Let's just say that she didn't pass the daylight test so I was proud of my tactic of not having her come to the room. I gave her some money for wasting her time but that's called a hedge. It now 3 and I'm hungry so I walk over to Hooters. Not the best but it hit the spot. Besides I was lucky to have one of the girls give me her number so maybe Sunday I will bang a Hooters girl. I digress. Again late afternoon power nap and before I know it, it's time to go to work at Habanos. Mucho chicas at 9:30 but more guys than last night. I met quite a few but hung out with Natalia and her amiga. Great ladies! Bought a few drinks and Natalia was ready to go (and so was I). Greeted by female Gestapo at front desk and they collect the chica fee right then and there. No more room charge. It is done right on the spot. Natalia was worth it though. She splits after uno hora and I get my beauty rest for what lies ahead.

It's too short of time frame and wouldn't risk it.

My experience going thru PTY customs, taking a cab and going thru morning rush hour traffic, knocking one out and returning for what is most likely another International destination highly unlikely. Clearing Customs at that time in the morning can be 60-90 minutes. Maybe another time.

Try wanuncios Panama for independents chicas.

I stayed at the Hyatt Place but before they instituted a chica fee. There's been a lot of talk about this so RTFF but I think some have recommended the Eurostar. The Hyatt was a block and a half from Habanos which is chock full of thick Latinas. I'm sure you'll find much to your taste. I found the service levels spotty, esp the lack of BBBJ and most chicas start at a Franklin an hour but will go up quickly if they sense weakness. I felt completely comfortable in that area at all hours. I even walked back from Casco Viejo one night.

I can't help with the visitor fee but generally, especially if you are used to mongering in MDE, you may be underwhelmed. There's also a lower end brothel called bocatorena where you can find some gems for cheap.

I doubt I'the return to PTY as long as Medellin and Sampa were options but for US mongers it has the plus of being a bit closer, you don't have to change money and is a BIT more first world. Like fishing, your luck may be different. Suerte.

Was planning to just stay a night or 2, but having checked out some of the chicas on Panescorts.com maybe will stay a few days at least! I had the impression Panama mongering was expensive, but chicas on that website are charging around 70 (USD I suppose? Is it a city where they charge for every extra? Yes I know about downsides of internet chicas etc, no need to warn me. Are there other good sites to check there?

What's an area I could get a hotel in, with enough stores, places to eat etc within walking distance, and maybe chica bars / clubs too (such as Cafe Habanos) ? I don't want to spend my time taking taxis all over the place, that's not my style. And safe to walk around during the day too. Where isn't it safe to walk around after dark there? Several here have said how good looking the chicas are at Habanos, are they all stick insects though because that's not my type at all, are there many real tits and ass types? If not there, can anyone recommend another club with curvier chicas?

Panama City is MORE expensive than Colombia (Bogota, Santa Ana, Barranquilla).
The Currency in Panama is USD (you lose the strong Dollar advantage you would get in Colombia).

Hotels - Plenty of choices from 3 to 5 stars. Depends on your budget.
Read the forum 7 to 12 pages back. You will soon have a short list.
My personal choice is Hyatt. You will not pay additional guest fees.
(Check the Policy before you book. Hotels do change their Guest Policy. This is not set in stone).
The area around the Hyatt is safe - day or night. Another choice is the Marriott which is very close to Habanos.

Hopefully, you like OR can tolerate the heat and humidity.
Panama lies 9 degrees north of the equator. In terms of distance, Panama is 622 miles north of the equator
You will enjoy 12 hours of daylight with a tropical rain forest climate.
