Making my first trip to PTY after having done Medellin, Lima and Europe. I've being reading the forum for awhile and Panama seems nice, convenient and stress free.

Does anyone have an opinion about being there during thanksgiving week? I'd think it would be a good as the chicas are looking to maximize bank before going home for Christmas but thought I'd ask.

Also is there a recommended love motel near Habanos? My preferred MO is to test drive a few chicas for an hour or so then look for LT set up later in the week. Usually means kissing a few frogettes and I'd just as soon not let the one's I turn away know where I'm staying. Thanks in advance.

My third trip to PTY was memorable. I've been reading this sight for years but finally signed up. After waiting 90'minutes in customs, I picked up my bags and went upstairs to flag a cab. $25 dollars and 1 hour later I arrived at Hyatt Place while the breakfast buffet was still being served. Not the best but it comes with the room. After reading several posts, I requested an upper floor (16) toward the backside where you don't here much of the construction noise going on across the street. After a quick workout and swim on the pool roof (great skyline view), I ventured to the mall and had a late lunch at the Red Lion. Being alone the attractive wait staff was friendly but cautious. The triple the's were in full effect unfortunately very little English is spoken there.

Night 1 walked over to Habanos around 8:30 pm. Had a Cuban cigar and watch the talent roll in. Near 9 pm the police showed up and began asking girls for ID. The place began to thin out as I had not even finished my Cohiba yet. My table was by the street as I saw a tall, dark skinned beauty hesitate getting out of the cab. The flashing lights of the police cars caused a scene. Hoping not lose my opportunity, I got up quickly and approached her cab. She was a stunning Venezuelan who spoke good English and was a solid 9. I asked if she was up for a drink at my place. Her tongue across her red lips gave me all the fuel needed. Two minutes were back checking in at Hyatt Place. No problem. I have had fun in Panama also. But to say forget Asia and Colombia, that's going a bit to far. At least you didn't say forget Brazil also. So there is still hope.

I have a question. Looking for an alternative to Panama in Early December. This are my options. Help me choose between: Holguin (Cuba) , Santa Clara (Cuba) , Panama. Any places similar to Habanos in these two places? How does cost and availability compare?

I haven't been to Holguin or Santa Clara. I have been to Havana and stayed in Guanabo (in 2014) which is right next to Havana. I stayed in a resort that was mostly 3 star with local cubans going there. My observations:

* It's nothing like Panama City. Bring cash because ATM machines or using a credit card is a pain.

* They have two currencies, the tourist one is monopoly money that everyone uses but can only be bought in Cuba.

* There's no Habanos, or open brothels like you get in Panama; prostitution is not legal.

* You will find unemployed locals who will try to hook you up. They are called Jinteros or jinteras. At the resort a jintero approached me and asked if I liked any of the ladies at the resort. I mentioned the one I was keeping an eye on and he hooked me up. She was with family and they left the next day, but she came back. Registering her wasn't an issue.

* She stayed with me that week and it was a really weird experience. I only paid her $60 and didn't have to negotiate. She asked for $20 a day. It's dirt cheap mongering.

* Her aunt and nephews came by one night to eat at the resort on my expense, for example, but it was dirt cheap. Like $10 a person at the buffet. They snuck out food with them after they were done.

* A friend I made there, from the US, went with me into Havana, and he was cat called by women. They'll try to get your attention and go somewhere the cops won't see them. Then they'll want to hook up (either wife up or short-time).

* Pro-tip: bring stuff people will want. Duct tape for the local handymen, pantyhose for the women, extra toothpaste. You name it. Most Cubans are pretty poor.

I've read the Cuba threads here and it looks like the Holguin scene is alive in cafes and clubs, but don't expect anything like Habanos in terms of openness. Be prepared to sneak around cops if the girl is worried she'll get stopped and questioned.

Overall though Cuba is pretty safe, and the locals are really nice. You won't have any safety issues unless you really look for trouble.

Wouldn't mind some fun if there's anything going or is it really just Fri / Sat when all the action takes place?

Take a taxi to Habano's or the Veneto after 8:00 PM. Thing peak about 10:30 PM. May not find the girl of your dreams but you will find one worth taking home.

I was there about a week ago Sunday. I stayed at the Veneto and went to Habanos. Plenty of good options both places on Sunday. Even mid-day Sunday there were nice options at the Veneto casino. That evening I walked from Veneto to Habanos and saw some really nice looking street girls on the main drag you have to cross on the way.

Hilton you will probably want to go to Habanos. I think you can walk both ways. Avoid the cabbies, or at least negotiate the return fare first. The cabbies in front of habanos are not to be trusted. I had a guy try to charge me $20 for the 1 mile ride back to Veneto.

I scheduled my return to the US for another night at the Veneto. I was a little dick-weary from the week but figured I had one more girl in me. After reading the reviews, I seriously considered the Golden Touch option. I love lineups but it sounds like the girls are pretty mechanical so I decided to skip it. I spent most of the early evening at be-Dubs and Hooters watching the baseball game. Then walked over to Habanos to see if there was anything there I couldn't pass up. The answer was almost yes.
