I can confirm. The girls at Veneto come in through the back and pay 15 to enter. After 11 pm they let even more girls in.

Also the security person intercepting guests is getting very good at it. He will hide behind a pillar and come out to catch you at the elevators.

Panama needs to regulate its cab industry. I now go out sight seeing regularly with a Panamanian girl who does all the talking. Instead of 10 dollar fares I pay two dollar ones. I have a dark enough complexion to appear to be a shy local when I ride cabs with her.

The girl I hang with is very interesting. She does not regard me as a john or her as a prostitute. She says I am helping her not paying her.

Yeah, I got burned once by the white cabs in front of Veneto. This was a few months ago, but one night I went with a chica from the Veneto to Via Argentina, and the cabbie wanted $10, and he got it, too. The gal I was with was Panamanian, and was confused as to why a 2-3 dollar fare was 10 bucks, but the taxi driver said it's a tourist taxi, and more safe, blah, blah, blah.

Remember to avoid the white taxis. I did use one to go to the airport, for $30, instead of getting a yellow taxi for $25. That was fine by me.

Unlikely. I would book it outside of holidays like Christmas. Waste of time and money. The fun part is going to Habanos and seeing 100 girls all smiling at you.

What is this $50 charge? Are you saying Veneto is now trying to charge a chic fee? Thanks in advance for an explanation, I scrolled through the posts and didn't see anything else.

There was some talk about the $50 charge when it started about a week ago, and it is in the "General Info" thread for Panama. (The top thread in the Panama forum.) Yes, it is a chica fee. There are some ways around it, like bringing the chica up before or after the security person is by the elevator, which is maybe 9 pm to 3 am.

Interestingly, one of the chicas told me that she had to pay $15 per night to the Veneto, in order to work the casino floor area.

I agree 100% with what Dickhead said. Bargaining upfront for TLN is rarely a good idea (at least with a girl you haven't been with before). The chica might be a terrible fuck, have a pussy infection, be a thief, snore loudly, or who knows what.

A much smarter method is to agree on a price for short-time. After you bone her once, you then determine if you'd like her to stay longer. In my experience, if there is some chemistry between you and her, and you're staying in a comfortable place, she'll be happy to spend the night for a little more (and sometimes nothing more) than the original payment.

IMO this is mongering 101. Bargaining initially for all-night is all lose for you and all win for her.

The cost-benefit ratio to doing TLN with a stranger is just very low. I've had some good impromptu TLNs, but only when I was not "trying for it." I think the chicas can smell that. And really, you bring security issues into the picture pretty much right away. Fucking a stranger is a lot less dangerous than sleeping with one.

Again we see the superiority of mongering over other approaches to getting pussy. While one may think a TLN is a way of getting laid X number of times in one night, where X is a relatively high number, one will quickly realize that getting laid X number of times can be conveniently and reasonably cheaply achieved by laying X number of chicas one time and then sleeping alone. And if you negotiate for a woman to come back to your house, and spending the night is not part of the bargain, and she does so because your place is nicer and closer, then you do not owe her additional compensation. Do provide breakfast and ablutions as with any house guest, of course.

Sorry to hear you don't feel safe. I don't think there is really anything to worry about other than the cabs. The easy thing to do is to tell them in advance how much you are willing to pay. But I think you should have no fear at all of walking from Veneto to Habanos and back. I walk around blitzed at 2 am all the time in worse places.

Anyway, last night my buddy took his chick from Habanos back to Veneto and brought her in the ground level to the elevator and nobody charged him. It was early though, I think before 10.


Also, Habanos is NOT trying to clean up their image. What is happening is that occupancies in Panama are less than 50% and all the hotels are sucking wind. They are just trying to do ANYTHING to get some more cash. If they wanted to improve their image they would just kick them out.

Started out with some happy hour Margaritas with a buddy at Mendozas. Then we walked to La Morena for the seafood platter (18.50) and a bucket of 7 beers for (7. 50). Took a cab to the red lion in casco. Had one beer each then we went to La Bocatorena. Was probably around 7 pm. At least 100 chicks in there. We each banged one for 15. Then we cabbed to Habanos. Veneto's loss is Habanos's gain. I have never seen a better line up there.

I did nothing though as I am up early at the airport.
