Tbuss - Thanks so much. Veneto has a group staying there, best available is a junior suite at @ $260/night, outlandish!! This place looks absolutely fine for me, perfect location, has an outdoor pool. I assume it is but I want to confirm, is it chica friendly? I'll probably do more onsite and grab a love motel or two, but need the option.

Seriously appreciate the info, wouldn't have found the place without the advice. I'll be sure to report back!!

    Ciao,

    IHE

Icy, the Montreal has a decent rooftop pool. Tbuss' pick is a little better located and probably considerably nicer (never stayed there so don't know.) Montreal would be considerably cheaper.

Little help on a hotel request?

    Hey guys,

I'm heading to Panama City for the first time after stumbling on a sub-$300 round trip fair 14 days in advance with direct flights out of Newark. I've never done much research and don't have much time, was hoping I could get some advice on a hotel. I've been to Rio 5 times, all over CR, DR, Thailand, Medellin, Lima, Buenos Aires, etc, I know how it all works and can find the places to go, but have some unique requests in lodging. I like to have unquestionable girl friendliness in a hotel. Also, I need an outdoor pool. Hell, I don't need an outdoor pool scene, I don't need floating bars and I don't even need a lifeguard. Hell, I probably won't go in the damn water. What I need is a place where I can grab my newspaper, my Portuguese study materials, and sit outside and get some sun (weather permitting of course) for something like 4 hours. I don't need to stay at a nice place. My last need is for things to be as close to ground zero as possible.

I don't mind spending a few extra bucks on a hotel but I really don't want to go overboard either. I don't want to stay far away.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Outdoor sun area where I can lay out.

Close to the centrally located action as possible.

    Girl friendly.

Don't want to break bank, but will pay for it.

ANy help is much appreciated, will definitely report on my thoughts on Panama City. Arrive May 2, depart May 5th.

Very much appreciated, I'll catch up on the rest over the next two weeks.

    Ciao,

    IHE

Thanks Questner, Seminole. I was hunting around one Sunday night a couple of years ago. The selection at GT sucked and Habanos and Le Palace were closed. I wandered into Elite, got drunk, and blew about $400 on booze and poontang. Thanks to your advice that won't happen again.

    Sunday Night

Next trip to Panama I'm only going to be able to monger on Sunday, and remember it sucked last time, so I want to make better plans this time around.

Are La Bodeguita, Habanos, and Miami open on Sunday? Are they any good on Sunday?

Have the hookers returned to the Veneto Casino? If you're a guest, is the hotel girl friendly right now?

    Thanks!

Mel, do a search. It's one of the best pickup spots for freelancers. It gets going late.

Max, try "Te pagaria $(fill in amount) si pudiera orinar en tu boca." And just make damn sure the amount is 3 digits and you're in a safe place or you probably will get your ass kicked.
