I was there a year ago. There are so many places in Panama to find hot girls and La Palace IMHO is not worth it given the costs. I did take a girl out from La Palace and while she was nice, service was just alright. Not worth the 700+ dollars I spent (bar+BF + girl for 2 hours).

Last night of adventuring and decided to go on a tour of El Dorado, bearing in mind that it's a Tuesday with expectations to match. The first stop, more on the way to El Dorado, was at a "de pueblo" bar called Bar La Gloria. La Gloria is off the main road and down a laneway with walls on either side. If you're not using Uber then look down the laneways until you see one that has what looks like an orange shrine with a line of blue lights over it. It's visibly lit and easy to see if you're looking for it. Drive down towards the shrine and it will open up into a parking lot. When I got there the parking lot was empty but the club was open. The security guy was clearly surprised to see a gringo approaching the club and I stuck my head in and saw 5 average looking girls and no male patrons at all. I always feel a bit uncomfortable being the only guy in a joint like that and since I had asked the Uber guy to wait while I checked it out (based on the empty parking lot) I jumped back in and off we went. I didn't go inside to get pricing, but I do know that it's a time joint. Middle level club that locals patronize. Looked ok.

Next I went to Golden Time, in the Plaza Mirage kitty corner to El Dorado mall on the main drag. I thought it was a club, but it's actually just an MP. What fooled me was that it doesn't open until 7 pm. Nice selection of girls, all wearing some kind of black lingerie. I saw about a dozen and could have done half of them. Pricing $120/ HR.

From there I went to the back side of the mall along the second line of chinese stores behind the mall, the section facing the street. The Club Miami is there. I walked in and was immediately transported back to the 70's. It's set up like a strip club inside, with mirrors everywhere and a stage running through the center of the club. Lots of red pleather everywhere. 5 girls that I could see in there. 3 of them were immediately doable, and the other two might have been doable too if you were hitting late night and selection was dropping. On another subject. Guys talk about being charged only $25 for 15 minutes. If you are young and ready to go at the starting gun bang, I am sure it is do-able (memories of my youth) but when the age creeps so does the time and 4 times $25 make the same charge as Habanos per hour.

First off, I agree that San Miguelito is a bad area with dangers. With that being said, San Miguelito is also a large area and not all parts are created equal. While I certainly wouldn't walk around everywhere the Gran Estacion area is a shopping area and a mall. I have walked all around that area in daytime without any sense of threat or danger whatsoever, along with the children and grannies and everyone else who has errands to run or things to buy. I wouldn't hesitate at all to walk around there freely in daytime. Notice I am referring specifically to the Gran Estacion area. I am emphatically NOT recommending that you go on a lion hunt all over San Miguelito. Now, at night time common sense travel should dictate that you don't wander around at night because even though the Gran Estacion area is not so bad compared to other parts of San Miguelito at night there's no point in taking unnecessary risks, and better does not necessarily mean good. Going to the Bombonera should be a low risk proposition provided you use common sense. The club is located in a well lit area, there is security at the front of the club and cars can come right to the front door, as well as being right next to a restaurant and across the street from other restaurants that operate at night, as well as regular traffic. You can use Uber to be dropped off right at the door and picked up right at the door, and I think if you do that you're fine. You can even stay inside the club until your Uber arrives to pick you up. What I do not recommend, and I mentioned this earlier, is you going wandering around outside of that area and around the mall and side streets. There is no need for you to do so and again common sense in minimizing risk would indicate that you don't. Be smart and have fun. Also, Mellow is absolutely right about not being an Ugly American, and that's good advice anywhere.

I went back to see my friend Patricia today, and as we are getting to know each other my options with her are opening up and more is on the table. So at this point in the process what I'm finding out is that the easiest way to get girls is the most expensive way. No real surprise there. Since the club girls have all without exception told me they're available outside of club hours there seems to be no reason not to indulge there, even if sessioning in the club itself isn't to your liking. There's lots of stuff available daytime between online sources, some MPs and La Bocatorena, and some mid-late afternoon options at other clubs. At night there's tons of options. Also, I'd like to be rich enough to casually dump $500 a night to drag chicas out of LE Palace. LOL. Having said all that there's no reason not to go to Habanos, and likewise no reason not to take a girl out of there if you want to, but for the guys thinking this is the only reasonable option at night and that the days have nothing to offer then I would beg to differ.

I think you're fine if you stay by the club entrance, even late night, but don't go walking around too much. Also avoid taking the taxis parked in front of the club. I have been warned that there are a number of pirate yellow taxis in the San Miguelito area and particularly outside the clubs, so just as a caution to avoid problems. So, for the club itself there's a $3 entry fee, for which they give you a lovely orange band on your wrist and in you go. The place is surprisingly large and roomy, and if you drink Atlas beer then you're in for a treat, because that's what the fridges are full of, at $2 a pop. There were also a bunch of guys drinking from beer towers but I don't know what those cost as I forgot to ask. Now, bearing in mind that I got there early there was already some activity in the bar with patrons entering and about 15 girls, about 5 of which I found very doable. I was there early though, as mentioned, and know that many more patrons and girls were coming later. Price for girls is $22 for 15 minutes. Had I not recently eaten I would have grabbed one, but I wasn't ready to session yet. I liked the place because in a similar vein to the Bocatorena there was a lot of movement around, girls joked with patrons, asses were slapped, and there was a lot of smiling and laughing. This club is large with heavy blue themes, a big show stage on the left as you go in and a couple of mini stages. There is a front area and a back area for seating, and the early birds all congregated at the back. I arrived at about 8:30 pm and there were about a dozen girls and 10 patrons. Everyone was bored, although there was some girl movement in and out. There is less of the friendly socializing that I mentioned was present in the Bombonera. I then noticed that there is a restaurant attached to the bar, and a band of girls were in there eating. The club is very nicely appointed and may have been the nicest one that I've been to in Panama. Nice lighting, good seating and the best music of the various strip / brothels I had been to. Coronas $5, and prices for the girls run $26 every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, although there were some nice looking chicas the lineup was weak, weaker than at the Bombonera, even though the Capri is a more upscale club. I was told there would be many more patrons at around 11 pm. I was there at about 9:30 pm. I took a lively, fun and friendly Colombiana for a half hour and got the worst blowjob I've had in years. The girls live in the rooms though, and the room was actually pretty nice, with a comfy bed and homey touches. It was a pleasant space. Didn't make up for the terrible blowjob though. LOL.

I'm not sure what else you want to know. I've told you about the girls, the place, the price of booze and the prices for the bar and the girls, which are ridiculous. The location is about 2 blocks from Habanos. Anything else and you'll probably have to go and visit yourself, but there's lots of places to source women here, not just La Palace. If there's something else you're looking for then ask and I'm sure either me or someone else here can answer for you.

I hear Nicaragua is pretty dead now but you may may have some luck in Granada. It's about an hour away. The street is called La Calzada and is walking only and with bars and restaurants on both sides. Used to be a pretty cool place. A few girls walking and working and maybe a real fox if you get lucky.
