Don't be too worried about the language. I'm an older man with virtually no Spanish and have a wonderful time on my visits there.

Being generous but not stupid along with polite behavior will give you a wonderful evening with an attractive young woman.

Language translators on phones have come a long way. Most of the girls used them.

The only massage places that charge $120 that I know of are in Tumba Muerto, being Golden Time and Goldfingers. And that's if you come in a taxi or they think you'll pay that much without arguing. Dickhead is right, Golden Time opens at 7:30 PM, unless they've changed recently. It's not close to Habano's though. One thing I'll say about Golden Time, if you want to get laid early in the evening and are willing to chance a mechanical lay with a good looking woman, it's a damn good choice. Most of the women will be there then, unlike Habano's, the Veneto, Miami, Elite and Le Palace, where as Vegas says the action starts later on.

There are other places, open during daytime, where you can get laid for substantially less than at Golden Time. One is Hawaii Massage. The times I went there I paid $60, and there were four or five dogs and one, possibly two hotties. There are other massage parlors that operate similarly.

I walked from Veneto to habanos in September with the only problem being the condition of the sidewalks. It's only a 10 minute walk.

I'd have no problem walking between Habanos and the Veneto at 2:00 AM. As to Casco Viejo during the evening, if you stay in the tourist / gentrified area and don't wander into a rough neighborhood you should be fine. I wouldn't feel comfortable there on foot after everything closes though.

Thanks. There are no different travel options I have now (since my travel is still so far off as you said). I could end up with anything from a one hour stop at the airport just to connect to another flight, to a 7 hour layover to even a one night or even two night stay now. A two night stay will obviously allow me daylight hours to explore the city but a single night might just get me evening hours in Panama before I have to connect with another flight in the morning.

As most of you already mentioned, if I'm coming from a trip in Colombia (which is not a done deal), then mongering options would be downhill from there. But if I'm just staying in Central America, then Panama City might actually look pretty good especially in comparison to the only definite destination I'll be visiting for sure which are the Bay Islands of Honduras (Utilia / Roatan) for scuba diving. I heard so far the Bay Islands are pitiful for mongering and as a result, Panama City and even another stopover potential, San Salvador, would like pretty good.

Habanos to Veneto I've done many a time up to 10:00 PM. After that take a taxi. The streets are full well after 9:00. People go out to dinner later in the evening there.

Cannot help with Casco Veijo. No experience.

Yes, You should be okay. Canada might keep you out for that as they are very strict but, I do not think Panama has risen to that level.

Just an FYI. Mexico is beginning to implement the same rules when flying in.

The issue is, no one really knows what crimes constitute denied entry. They won't tell you even if you knew who to ask. Again however, I am very confident you will not be denied with such minor offenses.
