Most airlines forbid long lay overs in connecting flights. They want you to pay 2 separate tickets if lay over longer than 24 hours, even though it costs them nothing extra.

Copa does a very nice thing to allow unlimited layover in Panama City in the same ticket before connecting to other destinations in their air routes. It's worth a couple days visit to check out the girls, their ways of life and remnants of Spanish colonial time.

If you know of any other free long lay over anywhere, would be nice to know.

BTW Copa flies their B737-MAX and B737-800 from LAX to P see at the end of maximum range of about 5,500 miles. They count on strong Westerly winds to help their mileage. If pressed, they could always land in Costa Rica to pick up fuel.

Nooo. This was just a one-off. Had a few days free and just a short hop from Houston but my preference has always been English speaking, off-white, undeveloped lands. Airport Uber cost was 21.97 and just before I confirmed, taxi guy asks if he could match, I showed him and he offered 25, I just took the taxi, though Uber has been seamless in the several rides I've made, mostly between La Bocatarena.

Hotel used is The Executive Hotel. I've had 2 guests in 2 days and no fee charged (yet). I could see stinkeye forming reception staff eyeing companion, but show them love and when the desk looks at you, they will forget all ill will. Restaurant is good, fare is cheap and location good with Habanos / Cave DonJulio / Cafe FOTO / Global Cigar. My God, how many names. Just between the AC Marriot and The Executive. Very easy walk.

Girls seemed a notch up Global / Habanero, though part of that is I could see them better. In the 3 trips to Boca, I only saw maybe one other girl I would posit as a 9 and that was biased toward her dark skin; I'm very partial to dark skinned girls.

For quality I'd definitely go to Global.

Out of the 3 outlets I used, Wanuncios was the worst. You're taking a gamble on whether or not the girl will match her ad photos. It's safe to say I won't be using that again. Habanos isn't bad if you can talk them down. $200/ HR is ridiculous. I can pay that here in the states. Also, they are similar to the girls you will find in La Bocatorena, but just a tad more classy looking. I remember one time I was in La Bocatorena and there was a chica in there almost completely nude. You won't find that at Habanos. Also, it's way less guys at Habanos. If you can get them down to around $80/$100 HR, then it's worth it. I highly recommend checking both out that way you can get an idea of your preference. I plan to do what you did when I'm there in May. If I cannot get $100 rate at Habanos / Global Cigars, I'll just refuse them. At Bocatorena, I'll hit it in early afternoon after I visit the canal in the morning. I don't think 12 minutes would be enough for me to finish so I'll offer to pay the double rate for double the time as long as the door guy remembers not to bang on the door at the 12 minute mark.
