Does the place function the same way as Habanos? Or does it function differently?

Pretty much same concept yes.

It is more of a dance club / disco inside. Also, it usually gets going around 1-2 am. The girls leave Habanos and make there way over the Ashe.

Girls that generally can't compete at Habanos end up at Ashes (not my opinion). That being said, I had some of the best time with couple of Venezuelan girls from hot. Pty that freelance at Ashes at night and don't want to compete with paisas at Habanos. In my experience there are lot of sharks at Habanos so watch out as looks could be deceiving.

But in general both places are pick up joints.

Yup, with the construction going on for the last year in Calle Uruguay, it was a no-brainer that ASHE'S would move.

Thursday, August 16 was the inauguration of the new place.

To help you locate it. If you don't find what you want at Habanos, as you come out just turn right for 50 meters toward de newish Cafe Terrasse, then turn right again for about 75 meters on the left side, second floor.

That's it.

The girls are happy as it makes two relatively close places where they can ply their trade within easy walking distance in high heels.

Prior to my arrival in Panama I'm met a young lady online who offered to spend the day with me from $100. If she stayed overnight it would be $150. The 26 year old Colombian was not a 10 but seemed a genuine lady looking to supplement her income. What possible harm could there be in meeting her. Which is exactly what I did on the day I arrived.

As I said she was not a 10 but a good solid seven. After meeting her decided why not go for a test drive. Went to the desk to check her in the the lady behind the desk ask me if I wanted to register her or pay the $30 guest fee. She attempted to explain things to me but not paying much attention to her I said just charge me the guest fee. She looked at me like I was crazy and said yes sir.

Well she turned out to be a seven in looks and a 10 plus in bed. Needless to say she was back the next day. Went to sign her in and was asked the same question. Thinking she was going to be visiting me a lot over the next two weeks I told hem to upgrade the room to two people and sign her in.

Over the next two weeks the young lady visited me numerous times. I never checked her in again. But over the next two weeks I did check several other young ladies in. The day of my departure did not check my bill. While waiting at the Airport looked at my hotel bill and realized the only $30.00 fee I had was from the first day. After that there was only a $10.00 a day upgrade fee.

Not luxurious like a Ritz or Grand Hyatt but Hyatt Place downtown is certainly quite nice and spacious. Its also very suitable to your purpose and very close to key places like Habanos. Less than five minute walk. Pretty well rated on travel websites as well. You two won't be disappointed.

Knowing all about Habanos / Marriott scene. But nothing to do with daytime action in Panama. Can anyone explain the distance between Marriott to Laboca and exactly where to go in Laboca for daytime action? I simply never been to Laboca and want to be sure where and when to go during the day for action.

The distance is long. Better take a cab but be prepared to face the traffic jam.

We are two experienced mongers but have never been to PTY. We will be sharing a room, and want to stay in a very nice upscale hotel, and one with very low (or $0) "guest fee". Any hotel recommendations would be very much appreciated! Also, we will be in PTY Aug 30-Sep 6, so if anyone wants to hang out, let us know.

My recommendation would be to look in airbnb, any upscale hotel will either charge you alot or won't allow guests.
