There is nothing that can be said that will stop us.
I've had black, white and asian friends who have visited Medellin and had a wonderful time. I hear the people are kind and treat you well. I was told that i would be treated like crap when i went to Tokyo&Osaka,Japan this Summer.
I had the time of my life and truly felt like a "rockstar". Everywhere i have mongered i felt like Denzil Washington.
The only thing about posting on this thread is that we are giving KOS and his racist cohorts the attention that they desperately seek. Who in their right mind would spend all their energy being racist when they have had the blessing to be in a beautiful city surrounded by beautiful women.
I think you "hit the hammer right on the nail" when you mentioned eliminating these guys. Their biggest fear is what will be taken from them. A strong confident person does not have to espouse hate.
All we can do is pray for them and stay positive.
Best of luck and keep pushing!!

Do not take this board so personal, it is to educate you my brother and to help you out. Do not shoot the messenger for teling you like it is, it is reality. I could care less if you want to visit, but come on, their are better places for you that you will feel comfortable with people of your own race, like Dominican Republic, Panama, belize and the alike. Also, do us a favor, stay in Lousiana, geezus christ. I am not the initiator of racism, rather, all of Colombia does not like african americans, it is plain and simple. And to be frank, I like living in a society in which their are no uneducated jigs with their pants to their ankles, all of their money invested in gold chains, and them sitting on street corners selling drugs and especially not seeing you guys eat that watermelon and chicken with colt 45 bear. Get the hint, Barack obama does not like Colombia because they are racist, great, maybe you should take a lesson, stay out of Colombia also, the locals do not want you here.

Black people, when you come to Colombia bring a friend, it will help to run people like KOS and Gordon out of Colombia. They aren't really made of anything anyway, so it shouldn't take long to eliminate them. We have already done the impossible. We got a black man in the white house. Next lets take over Colombia. You know when we arrive we dominate.
Kos this stuff is just to funny to stop. Look forward to the responses.
Also if you have an apprehensions about going to Colombia don't hesitate to contact me. I am still in here.
PS Gordon looking at your old post, I know you are a racist, but good luck to you anyway. People like you and KOS only inspire me to stay in Colombia and invite friends. Hope one day we can have bear.

Posts: 16Had to chime in with my personal experience in Colombia. If you are black, go back to america where people acknowledge you in united states. The Colombians do not like black people.

Truthfully, in the US I'm just another schmuck, but in Colombia, Brasil, etc at least the chicas dig the light hair and blue eyes.
Have to admit, I'm good at putting my foot in my mouth at times, but always quick to admit mistakes.
I have to say though, as far as meeting and picking up non-pros, I never really enjoy it in clubs at night. Not my thing.
I like walking about and exploring in the daytime, meeting chicas in stores, the mall, restaurants, offices, etc ... making a date for the evening.
Works much better for me.
I'm far from a high-pressure pick up artist, just the oppositte really.
Take care amigo, I'll be back to Colombia soon, December in Medellin is muy nice. For now, off to Brasil again manana :)

I don't need to say any further. Your comments speaks for itself. Enjoy your little world. Again your so called reality check has no bearing on my plans and hopefully it does not discourage anybody else.

Posts: 741Ee2002 is actually pretty funny, I mean I actually got a laugh out of what he wrote. Guys, do not take what I write to personal, I am the messenger. But what ee2002 wrote was kind of funny. Read below.
KOS can post whatever B. S he wants especially since this is his own section and you are right we don't have to read it. But don't act like he's some cool guy telling it like it is and that those that react to it are over reacting, unless you are saying that you totally agree and feel the same way that he does. If thats the case just say it don't hide behind the "you don't want to hear the truth" or are being too PC crap. Just come out and say that you discovered a paradise of fellow racist bat#$%s and you Nat#$Rs better stay away, LOL. This would not be the first time this have happened and apparently not the last.
EE2002, please comment on this though. What do North Miami (opa locka) (liberty city), the Bronx, Hartford, south side of chicago, detroit, atlanta, east los angeles, st louis, all have in common? They are all poor area's with the same race living in those parts of the city. Don't ya get it, we do not want you african americans, polluting Colombia with your ghetto talk, gold chains, pants worn around your ankles, etc. Go to Belize, Panama, or Dominican Republic. Thax

I know my strengths and weaknesses.
I am a people person.
I am kind to people and I do speak spanish and portuguese now for that matter.
That alone gets me a long way.
I also have lots of experience. I am lucky to have traveled and visited Latin America extensively.
Even a dummy is bound to learn and pick up a few things after a while.
My weakness is that maybe I'm too simple.
You will never find me on the cover of GQ Magazine.
I'm a jeans and T-shirt kinda guy.
I like simple.
As far as culture goes, I'm good at reading people.
When I talk culture, I refer to people and their attitudes.
I am, however, not very "cultured" per se.
I couldn't tell you who the Elvis of Colombia is or who the top movie actors, or soap stars are, etc.
As far as music goes, I do know that I dig the Vallenatos. Jorge Celedon and los Inquietos mostly.
I know the chicas love it when you can sing along with them to their songs :)
Bottom line is, I'm pretty sure we'd down a cerveza together, rap about chicas, and laugh about posts on the ISG.
I'm sure I'd learn a few things, and maybe you'd learn a couple from my point of view too.
Whew ... feel like I just posted a profile of myself on the Amigos dot com site. Hope I don't have guys calling me for a date, hahahaha :)
Take care amigos

Once again this dicussion about racism in Colombia is not about telling you not to come to Colombia, but sharing our experiences and opinions with you. You will never find in my 200 some posts, one post that is racist on my part. I do believe, and KOS is correct on this, if you do not speak spanish, and have little or no knowledge of the language and the culture of Colombia, an african american would be better suited and accepted in Panama or the Dominican Republic, than in any South American country. For those of you with a comprehension disorder, this is not to say you cannot come to Colombia, or you are not welcome, but it is letting you know that racism is alive and well here, especially so concerning african american people, and it is letting you know that other similar countries are more accepting of the african american race.
Neworlean, your post again shows your intelligence level, and the type of mentality that keeps you from being accepted in Colombia, or anywhere else in the world. It is quite evident you have the thug type of mentality and your education level is well. I will not even go there. Good luck to you because you are going to need it.
