Real good first night. I let a needing 35 year old with fat tummy follow me down to Sportsmen's and caved in. Other than her tummy in overall good shape, very pleasing and energetic. 3 hours total 'date' for $120. At first she agreed to $100 until 5 AM but in the room changed to $200. I NOT not paying for that for $200, maybe a younger more flaca Tica. Anyways had nice time with her.

So I know CBD is legal, but it looks like in San Jose, they are at the beginning stages and don't have many options. I regularly use CBD vapes, (3%THC, since Texas won't legalize THC), but we have options here, flower, cartridges with all types like Delta 8/10, HHC, THC-P, THC-A, etc. Anyone know of any places in SJ that have these options or has this not made it to CR yet?

You did give some good nuggets here though Zeos. I would probably only look in established condo communities. I have someone plugged into where I live in the US that is a liason with a financial company I have done biz with here for years.

But since you also know the area. For my own pleasure and Airbnb purposes would you recommend Jaco, Tamarindo, or another up and coming place?

My favorite place is Santa Teresa but that might price out but in that area there may be a deal. However Guatascaste and Jaco seem to have the condo communities and I don't think I want to go south of Jaco. The southern pacific is still under developed and honestly I hope it stays that way.

If you can keep on the low end of Airbnb rates, say 100 US or less per night you can get business I think, assuming you are on or close to the water. But real estate prices don't allow that anywhere I have looked. So in my opinion there is no viable investment opportunity. If you are in the $1000 per night range of accommodation then looking at investments of multi millions of dollars. Good luck with that.

Ahh. Good. Then you know more about it than 99% of those on this forum, including myself. I personally have met 3 or 4 gringos that have had their properties stolen from them. Scams set up by lawyers, etc. Putting squatters on their land and then taking it away through the courts. One gringo I met that has been fighting his case for almost 20 years is convinced that almost all there are white collar criminal, courts, judges, all on the take, and set up to make the oligarchy wealthier. Anyway. My impression is that common types of places, such as condos, well developed properties, might be a bit safer to buy, but all I hear is enough to scare me away from buying anything there.

I lived there off and on for 3 years. I love the Nicoya peninsula and have been everywhere in the country. I had a GF from OSA area for a long time.

I do have knowledge and I have rented, and I have good comm3 ctions there. I was just getting a barometer on what ya all think.

It will probably be on the outskirt towns of Jaco or tambor, but any input from why'all I appreciate.

Your best bet is to rent for a while in any area you might consider buying in. Its a huge area you are talking about, when it comes to investing. And if you are thinking about investing and renting on Airbnb you also need to consider your residency situation and taxation in Costa Rica since there is Costa Rica tax on Airbnb rental income. All in all it is not simple, and there is an industry in Costa Rica of ripping off investors coming in with very limited knowledge. And there is nothing cheap, unless there is a reason.

Also starting Dec 6th, all travelers, vaccinated or not, will need a negative covid test within 24 hours of their flight to the USA.

But not to Costa Rica, as of right now anyway.

But you will need to enter proof of your vaccinations on the form you fill out before going to Costa Rica, in order to have proof of vaccinations to get into bars, restaurants, hotels, etc. When you are there. That requirement was supposed to start for all businesses in January, from early December it was optional for businesses to use it.
