Is Marriott more chica friendly or Sheraton? Any chica fee?
Thanks.

So, first time in Costa Rica in October.
I have done a bit of research and found two hotels that might be the best due to location.
Has anyone been there? Which one would you choose?
My questions are regarding security and perhaps taking some chicas to the room.
The hoteles are:
Taormina Hotel and casino https://www.booking.com/hotel/cr/tao...casino.es.html.
The other one is:
EXE San Jose Center https://www.booking.com/hotel/cr/exe...center.es.html.
What do you think? I want it to have a safe, and to be able to go out at night with no trouble.

Posts: 3359Nah, I don't use short term hotels very much, personally. I just know where some are by having walked by them a bunch of times when I was living on the same block as Little Havana. I miss that apartment. And actually, now that I think of it, Bar Málibu may itself rent out its rooms short-term. He had that kind of license, last time I was there, which has been three years now.
Short-term hotel = 'hotel transitorio' in many parts of the Spanish-speaking world, and 'telo' in others. 'Hotel de amor' might work as well. Or the people at Sportsman's Lodge would probably be willing to tell you where the nearest one is.

Posts: 3359From the Sportsman's Lodge, I do not believe there is a short term hotel much closer than Parque Central, which is not that far. Hotel Diana by Parque Central rents short term rooms, or you could go to the Del Rey and there is one across the street. Calle Ocho has many short term hotels and is not very far from Sportsman's in terms of taxi fares. I think there is a short term hotel by Bar Malibu as well. That might even be closer than Hotel Diana, or very close to the same distance.
I find it hard to believe that a hooker at Sportsman's would not know where to take you if you are not staying there. That place is designed for the people who already have rooms, but those who do not get taken by the residents can sure find some place to fuck you. My guess, honestly, would be that if they say they don't know where to go with you, they don't like you for some reason. So review your approach, would be my suggestion.
