Nice report Bubba Boy, I share a lot of your insights as well Young & R I to enjoy Centauras, I don't know why but I have never had any problems with the front desk workers, I just pay the amount (most of the time just the entrance fee) I tell them I don't know if I will see anyone or not I just walk in.

I think if you been there a few times and they know you mostly will see and pick a girl (95%) of the time they maybe don't push you to pay in advance some guys don't have $$ to pay for a session they go to the termas just to fill on the girls butts and kiss on them without taking a session, in order to attract the BEST girls 9's and 10's they have it were you pay in advance cutting down on the guys that just want a "quick cheap fill".

Also, the group of guys that goes to Centauras seem (to me) a lot different what I am saying is they know what they want and it meant cost more but hell, life is short and if I am going to spend 9+ hours on a plane a few extra dollars I don't mind, to tell you the truth most of the time they wave the entrance fee for me if I see a girl, or they just wave me in maybe because I go there a lot.

Lets face it Centauras DON'T want everyone going there they want to attract certain mongers and they also want to best top girls look at it as a Benz or BMW dealership vs a used car lot, (it caters to certain people), like you have the help club were you pay a small fee before a certain time to get in and then you have Barbella's were you have to pay 50 reals to get in and you have to pay 50 reals to leave plus the drinks cost more etc. (BUT THEY HAVE THE BEST LOOKING GIRLS) in Rio in there.

The reason I enjoy Barbella's (sp) so much is I don't find the loud Mia P. crowd in there.

I notice if you go to anyplace a lot most of the time they will either don't charge you the entrance fee or don't charge you for a few of your drinks, (it could be just me) but when the termas owners know they have a good client that goes there and don't complain about the prices at every turn that look out for you, OR THEY WILL GIVE YOU A HARD TIME SO YOU WON'T COME BACK !!

everyone has a different game plan when in rio.

i personally like the termas and will generally have 6 or so favourites girls rep001tered across the city. each trip a few drop off the list and of course a few get added. i generally see a favourite girl every second night at a terma, the one to see depends on the mood and of course where other amigos are headed for the evening. on the other nights i look for something new. of course if this is done within an establishment that i have a regular at it can take planning...... all good fun.

i personally will only see a favourite outside a terma if i really like her, maybe only 1 or 2 per trip will be invited to come to my hotel/apartment. if she does come over it will be a girlfriend kind of a deal, i will not give her any cash straight out, maybe some cab money or a couple of bucks to get her "hair done", i make this clear at the beginning. of course this means a certain amount of emotional attachment can be assumed by the girl, i also make it clear that this is a short time deal, not a long term relationship. i tend to find if i invite more than a couple over per trip they are harder to control and potentially cramp my style, some can turn into pests real quick. my average trip lasts a month or 2 and hence it is more difficult to get rid of girls than just jumping on a plane after just 6 days in rio.

i will only invite a girl over to my pad if she is genuine and not likely to cause any problems. i have no interest in a gangster chic coming to my pad, that is what motels are for. any girl that comes to my place is heavily screened for emotional stability and honesty. being a lawyer once upon a time means i have a very good "bullshit detector" and hence i have never had any problems with such girls taking shit or trying to scam me. any girl invited to my place i would be considered a pretty decent human being, hence i also do not want to hurt her emotionally or give her false hopes of a gringo passport. i try to make this clear, sometimes it is not heard though. i like to treat them like expect to be treated.

on my first trips i grabbed phone numbers off pretty much every girl i liked. now i only get the numbers off the ones that i want to keep in contact with on another visit, hence i might only get 1 or 2 new numbers per trip. i generally don't call them unless i need to find out where they are or need a date for a dinner party with fellow deviates. i find if you start calling them they get the wrong impression and they start to call way to much and try to pull the "you can't see other women stuff". i don't think i have ever asked for a phone number, usually a girl i have seen a few times insists i take theirs, they are not exactly shy in rio.

i actually prefer email addresses. it is easier to keep in touch and easier to control, because if they start hounding me i can slow down my replies to them. i also find this great when i am travelling through europe (where i live for half the year), it is great to have "uma amiga" to meet in italy or spain for a few days of fun. with the ever increasing number of gdp's working in europe i tend to find it is an easy and very enjoyable hookup.

i have many friends that do 2 or 3 girls a night, usually a new girl each time, hell one of my friends averages 5 a night although he only stays for 5 nights at a time, i tend to find 1 girl a night is a good number for me. i really like to find a girl i connect with and who i see a few times, the sex just gets better and better. often she will let me do things that no one time punter will ever get the chance to do with her. hence, i prefer quality over quantity. my point is every one is different and we all get different things out of our visits, its all good.

Just curious, do you make a practice of getting names and phone numbers at the termas? I have never had a girl decline when I asked for her number. If I like someone and want to see them again it makes for a much more relaxed time. I rarely see the same girl at the termas twice. If I like her, I see her outside.

Y&R, I know the feeling! I have a feeling that I will be returning to Brazil for as many years as Victor Newman has been on Y&R. I am already planning the trip again, I need to find some good airfares out of DC. I flew United because of my frequent flier miles...I hope they run some good deals at some point. I also would like to check out some more remote regions and really get to see some more of the country, but I hear it's more dangerous than Rio for a foreign tourist, with police shakedowns and scams.

Couple of quick additional notes, most of the girls automatically stayed overnight, something the girls in Buenos Aires did not do unless you negotiated. The food in Brazil was awesome, especially high end seafood restaurants Marius and Satyrcon. The juice bars are a lot of fun. Breakfast food I found lacking, but that is the case in virtually every country I've visited. I went to Cesar Park thinking they would have a great breakfast buffet. It was good, but it was also 59 Real! I sat there for like an hour drinking their OJ and eating fruits to make sure I got my money's worth.

The one big drawback of visiting in June is it gets dark so early, around 5:30.

You guys should also know that it's completely illegal for Centaurus to charge gringos more and they are well aware of that fact, thus the disclaimer.

With all the talk in here about "organizing to reduce prices", you'd think you guys would take a pound of flesh out of the a$$holes at Centaurus first. After all, they are basically pimps.

I also hate Centauras and of course that ***** who hasnt had any dick since slavery ended in Brazil.I am surprised with the exchange rate as shitty as it is, you fucking guys are still going there. 310 reals is alot when your getting 2.3. 135 dollars to put up with that ***** and it is also very crowded with guys. One thing I like about the other termas are there are less guys there. The ratio is more to my liking. I thought for sure this place would go down as the exchange rate goes down. I guess I was wrong. Btw catalyst ,where is this hotel located and it must be a dump for 90 reals. How far from help is this hotel.

For the record, centaraus does in fact allow anybody to pay just the R90 for entrance when entering. There is a sign above the reception in Portuguese which more or less says "we prefer you pay R310 but do not insist on it". Every time I go there now I just plonk down the R90 have a quick chat to them and head on in, they don't blink.

Have to agree that the whole atmosphere of the place is not as friendly as the other termas, I really don't like it much except I like one girl there alot - she was actually just reviewed below and given a 9 in the looks department, her name: Mona Lisa, 18. Saw her the first time and was disappointed, CBJ, no anal, and no DFK. Second time she saw me in centaraus, comes up to me for a second round and I explain that I won't see her again because of CBJ and no DFK. She hangs around for a while and has a bit of fun, finally she says "if you take me I will let you do whatever you want except no anal". Ended up having a f**king great time, even got the thumb in her ass (she has never done anal before - or at least said this to me). Saw her a few more times and she just got wilder but just couldn't do anal. I always find that if you see the same girl a few times they will generally let you do pretty much whatever you want to them, of course there has to be some connection there.

I agree completely about the staff at Centaurus. That woman at the front desk is a bulldog. The first time I went there I balked when I saw the prices. She told me that she would allow me to pay only the entrance fee and I could leave without taking a girl if I wanted. I said I wanted to get something to eat first and I would come back. She said that the offer was no good if I came back. She was very sour about it. I had no intention of paying the entrance fee and not taking a girl anyway, so I wasn’t interested in the offer, but her pushy attitude turned me off and I left and didn’t come back until several days later.

I don’t mind paying in advance. In fact, at the other termas I’m actually always a little nervous that I’m going to screw up and not have the cash I need and have to go to a cash machine with a goon holding each arm or even worse maybe I won’t be able to get cash because I will have already used up my ATM cash allowance for that day. (What do they do if you don’t have the cash and can’t get it until the next day?) I think Centaurus requires it because compared to the other clubs they have many more foreign customers who might misunderstand the bill. But they can be rude about it, especially the bulldog.

I had a room for 110 reals and then moved to one for 90. There was some construction noise in the mornings, but it wasn’t too bad. If you stay there try to bring a girl there on your last night and in the morning tell them you are moving out because they wouldn’t let you bring her up. Maybe that will get them to change their policy. Don’t get a room overlooking the street unless you are deaf. I think a breakfast is included, but most nights I didn’t stay up late enough to take advantage of it and when I did I just wanted to get to bed when I got home.

The ice cream was very good and very cheap in BA. I suppose I b---ed a little about the cost of Seafood Marius in Rio, but when I think about it in many countries just one of the lobster platters they brought by would cost the entire price of the meal. Sometimes when you see how cheap things are you forget what expensive really is. Marius was great. It is something that just doesn’t exist in most places. Then, once you’ve tried it, you can do almost as well at the other big churrascarias for much less.

Hey, one more thing I forgot. I went to Franks on Ave. P Isabel. They don't have the sex shows anymore. They are gone for good, or until the city changes its mind about allowing them. No sex shows anywhere. Seems I missed them by only a few months. They where nice and honest about it; they could have led me on to get me in and get me to buy drinks. I went in anyway, but found it a little depressing. Some of the girls were ok though.

So has anyone tried Priscilla and Melissa together yet? Was I right or what?

I was sitting at MABS around 7pm when one of the girls got into an argument with that one guy who is always trying to take Polaroid pictures of couples. She was with her girlfriends and got major attitude. Well after a few words she hit him and then he started swinging back. The police and waiters broke the fight up. I am sure now that MABS is the spot rather than Meia Pataca(and certainly not the Balcony!).

I think I have started a little fad around the place however, because I noticed three girls in skirts without undies. My girl showedup unannounced without undies so I know she has learned this is a definite turnon. Her name is Kezia,so you guys should ask around for her when in Rio. She is short, white,and blond. Yes, Rio is slightly more expensive than in the past but it is still the best place for a monger.

Just got back from Rio. I had a great time in the city. In fact it was so fun, I’m depressed to be back home now. There is so much energy and things to do in the city. I could have stayed 3 months instead of a week.

Places like Rio are like a thirst that can't be quenched. I usually start planning another trip shortly after I return home.

Centaurus, on the other hand, was staffed by rude persons and there was constant pressure to upsell (get a better suite, buy more drinks, go with two girls). Some of the girls were very aggressive in their tactics. It was kind of ridiculous. However I did have a nice encounter with one girl with braces who was very cute. Centaurus had a fun group of Brazilian guys there that night that were having a bachelor party.

A lot of other mongers share your opinion about Centaurus. The more reports that I read, the more I think that I am one of the only mongers that actually likes this place. I'm with you on Monte Carlo though. Not bad, but not my favorite place either. At any rate, nice report.

I know it makes you lose your "momentum", but thats okay, you have more time to see if she starts copping a sassy attitude with you. And remember, you have HUNDREDS of other options. If you get ANY static, beg off, let her meet you on YOUR terms or move on. (dont make it too much work, just keep assuring her that this is so BOTH of you will be happy with the outcome.) most scammers wont stand for this scrutiny and head for an easier mark.

This is one of the most poignant points when negotiating, any attitude from her is a major red flag that it will be a crap time.

All first timers to Rio should print OD's whole post and put in into your wallets, get it out and read it before starting to neg.....add a further note to it, if she asks for $ upfront ditch her immediately.

Just got back from Rio. I had a great time in the city. In fact it was so fun, I’m depressed to be back home now. There is so much energy and things to do in the city. I could have stayed 3 months instead of a week.

Things were more expensive than Buenos Aires, both the prices were higher and the exchange rate was hovering at 2.35 compared to the 3 to 1 in Argentina. I was there 6 days and ended up dropping about 2,000 dollars into the local economy.

Here’s my opinions on the girls and the establishments that I visited. Help Discoteca and Luomo were probably my two favorite places for girls. Centarus was too expensive and Monte Carlo was lacking in attractive girls. I had my two worst experiences of the trip at Monte Carlo and Centarus.

Monte Carlo on last Tuesday night had sub par talent, only one girl was what I would classify as thin and only a couple had pretty faces, the rest were more aimed at those who want the more ethnic looks. However at least Monte Carlo was priced well and had polite staff.

Centaurus, on the other hand, was staffed by rude persons and there was constant pressure to upsell (get a better suite, buy more drinks, go with two girls). Help I thought was a lot of fun, but I'm not averse to risk taking having picked up streetwalkers in DC and Philly and having been to San Jose Costa Rica, walked all over Buenos Aires late at night and all over Prague at night and went to remote Carribean places looking for brothels. The one thing that is a bit annoying about Help is the attitude of some of the male patrons. There were some guys who come in wearing doorags and bringing the 'thug' attitude to Brazil. Leave the attitude and cheap posturing at home fellas.

I enjoyed the freelancing atmosphere of Help, the negotiation, dancing with the girls. The one negative experience I had was a girl who lied and said she was going to stay all night but insisted on payment up front of 300 R (huge red flag) and of course ditched after 1 hour. She was 24 year old with a 9 year old son! I didn’t bother to take her picture as I was annoyed by the experience and wanted to forget it. The other girls I found at Help were nice and I had no problems.

No problems finishing it here, amigo. That was like a mental trip back to Rio for me. I've been thinking (missing) the termas a lot since reading your report. Damn, I miss Rio! I got a PM just the other day from another WSG member that is in Rio right now (lucky SOB!) banging chicas and also said he enjoyed my report. Glad if I helped contribute to anyone having a good time there!

As far as Rio and BA goes... I had a good time in BA, but when it comes to the whole sex scene, Rio is light years ahead. I've read your BA report twice already, mainly because there were several parts in your report that made me LMFAO. Empanadas must have gone on sell in Buenos Aires, because I didn't really notice too many fat chicas in Black or Madaho's, but things can change though... Also, I think you're right about Santa Fe 1707. That's about as wham, bam, thank you ma'am, as they come right there. Sometimes I like that kind of smut though (hehehe).

I think the main reason that Argentina has it's on web-site is because Jackson is such a big fan of that city and he likes it enough to reside there. I don't blame him though, I would for sure have a BrazilPrivate.com if I knew anything about creating/maintaining a website. Also, I think AP.com is the hub for all Argentina mongers, because there is a lot more traffic on that site than any of the other sex sites that I've seen regarding sex discussion in Argentina.

Btw, Marius kick's ass, doesn't it? The meat side is excellent too, but the seafood side is f-ing awesome!
