I stayed five days in Rio at the Parthenon Aproador. It was my fourth time in Rio. I have to agree with recent commentary in the forum that Rio is not the bargain it used to be. The strength of the real against the dollar has really opened my eyes. The last two times I was there the real was 3.50 and 2.96 to the dollar. I was getting 2.20 through the ATM. The ante has surely been raised to play. Also there is a general expectation that the American will tip more. You can sense the anticipation every time there is a monetary transaction.

I only went one night to Help. It was a Friday and my previous experience was that on Friday and Saturday the part timers come out and you can have a less programmed experience. I thought I found what I was looking for when I met a young lady from Salvador that seemed new to the scene. One indication was that her hands were rough which I interpreted to mean they were no strangers to manual labor. I bought her Tequila then it was time to close the deal. First she wanted to only do a dupla with her friend. Her friend I guessed was an experienced Help garota. I said no to that proposal. Next I upped the ante to 300 reals. I had a momentary yes and then she changed her mind. Maybe if I had better language skills I could have turned the tide. Tchau baby! I ended short-time with a Help regular at 250 reals. She was ok. She did her job. When you add the 50 reals I paid extra for having a guest in my room and drinks and admission, Help did not seem like a winning proposition for me. After that I stuck to the major termas where for me I found better looking women who have great skills in the sack for a cheaper price.

I did not blaze any new ground at the termas. Centaurus was a short five-minute walk from my hotel and I had my best experiences there. Centaurus girls do try to upsell you. In fact, I was told that none of the girls liked me because I could not make up my mind after I rejected four of five of them. I think it was because I had done anal the night before and only the garotas who do anal were approaching me.

The best-looking garotas were at Luomo. The manager there who is a woman if she is the one that does the hiring has this thing for long-legged women. Luomo and Centarus are about equal in price when you consider I needed taxi for Luomo. The garotas are not as aggressive at Luomo so it may be a better deal than Centaurus.

I had some of my better experiences at Monte Carlo in the past but this time it was not as good. I went with one of the stars who probably goes with five guys a night and is fairly mechanical. However give her some credit when she is on the floor she is dancing and shaking her butt. When I came back from upstairs and was sipping a coke before I left, another garota was trying to entice me to stay. The star found another guy and went upstairs in the time it took to finish my drink. I think I would have had more fun with the second one all though she was not near the looker. Pay attention to how they treat you in the boate.

I think I will give Rio a rest for now. It is pricey and I am getting the sense that I have been there and done that.

My experience has taught me that when I choose that lady, I come out with a much prettier woman. When I take my time I get just what I am looking for, be it a nice ass, or a pretty face. When I go to Brazil I have an image in my mind. I work to make sure that I secure that fantasy, to make the trip worth the flight.

I will admit that I have allowed my self to be choosen by a female. Example, I was sitting at my table and a young lady showed up and began dancing with the intention of drawing my attention. I gave in and said "hello", she then sat down, and we began a conversation that ended between the sheets. She was not the lady that I had in mind that night, but through speaking with her I came feel that she would do the trick.

I think that most times it has more to do with ones understanding of how the process works than it does money. Go in the club. Do not let the lady choose you. Do not leave with the any lady that you see before go around the club to see what else is inside. Any number of other ideas could be usefull. Perhaps setting a certain goal, i.e. no ladies under a 9.

Once you get in the club and get carried away in the moment sometimes you forget about the rules, and every once and a while you end up with an 8.
Practice helps you to get better at the whole mongering thing.

Money is the direct result of knowing what you want and only utilizing your time towards that end, or having someone in your life that demonstrated that kind of commitment so they were able to leave some money behind when they left. That being said, I am sure that there have been a few well off men that have left the club with ugly women.

I spent one night outside Help just observing who was leaving with whom. It was a very entertaining night. Mostly what I saw were guys leaving with women who either looked like them (could have been their sister) or guys leaving with women of about the same attractiveness. Pretty much what happens in the US.

The reason that successful wealthy guys land beautiful women has as much to do with confidence as it does with the money. If you don't think you deserve a 10, guess what, you are not going to get one.

Personally, I go for as much personality as I do looks. The GFEs I have had in Rio take GFE to an entirely different level, but that is for another day.

I have thought of compiling a photo phone directory, but in reality most guys who end up with ugly girls get what they deserve.

I think there's a direct colleration between price and chica looks, period.

You pay dirt cheap rates, the best I have seen posted is basically a 6 in my book. Something I have a hard time paying for after flying 11 hours and paying for a $900 plane ticket. My gawd I hope some people standards are higher. That flys directly in the face of convensional wisdom by some people that "p***y is p***y and even if its only $30US and hour its worth bangin.

I demand high quality poonani and I expect it (pro and non-pro). Even most of the Terma girls aren't that hot, there better looking women on the beach or in Help and there far more UGLY Chicas in Help.

Now maybe I'm buying too much into the European Standard for Beauty, but I don't think that's a bad guide to go by. Ask Men's 1# Most Beautiful Woman of 2005 is Brazilian (Adriana Lima) and I haven't seen any poster pull somebody that's even close to that good looking and I think she's a 9.5 at best.

I mean your spending hard earned money why not go after what you couldn't pull in Sex Prison? Are some people that hard up for intercourse or scared of attractive women? I dunno about you but 10,000 miles is a long way to go to bang average and worst looking women.

Service quality is directly related to how you treat and talk to the chica. Are you engauging? Are you funny? Do you look nice? Do you smell good? These are women after all. No matter what country your in, they expect certain things from a man. I'm shocked every single day by what most men consider is passable conversion.

If you lacking in any of these areas then expect to pay more, unless that's the reason your chasing average to below standard chicas anyway.

Most of the guys I have seen walking around Copacabana or Ipanema usually are with the same type of girl they are able to date back home. Usually a 4-6 on the 10 scale. You would think that as long as they are paying for it, they would trade up, but nooooooooo, they stick with the same old shit they get back home. You guys need to think outside the box, no pun intended.

Had Friday at 2pm until mid-day Saturday with no professional or personal obligations. Went exploring with a friend/colleague who will hopefully begin contributing, here. It was his first Rio day, so I wanted to show him a bit of everything. Unfortunately, the weather just sucked, so there was no Hooker Beach. Strike one.

Meia Petaca was dead, as well. Strike two.

Then, walked down to Siguera Campos to cut over to L'Uomos. I was risking a three-peat, which is officially against my policy, but I didn't seem to care after a few beers.

Anyway, I'll have to finish this later.

Tried a new Terma, Bononia at Rua Alfredo Valadao 36. Just a block or 2 after L'Uomo's. 35R entrance, 4R beers. 20 girls, few customers, very clean, nice volume music, big TV, wet sauna, 3 hot girls, 3 doable, and 10 pleasant and 4 useless. Price was 120 or 130 for the 40 minutes, room/garota included.

Had a great time. Girls met us after closing at Help just to party. Didn't even go in, just ate pizza and drank outside. Got phone numbers. They went home around 4:30am, I picked off a girl exiting Help. Cutie. Offered 100R. She accepted. Stayed at hotel until 10. A lot of fun. Completo available, it would seem. Paid 100 plus taxi and 20 tip.

Dec. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Brazil's real may weaken for the third day in four after the central bank said it will sell so- called currency swap contracts as it tries to slow the real's 20 percent advance this year.

The central bank said on Dec. 2 it will offer $625 million of the contracts today, adding to $3.07 billion of the contracts the bank has sold since Nov. 18. The sale may temporarily halt the real's gains today, said Rodrigo Boulos, head of the treasury desk at Banif Investment Banking.

``The swap auction can help balance the market a bit, but what we're seeing is that these auctions haven't been enough to change the trend in the currency, which is to continue appreciating,'' Boulos said in a telephone interview.

The real, the best performer against the dollar this year, traded at 2.2095 at 6:19 a.m. in New York, compared with 2.2088 Dec 2. On Nov. 11 it reached 2.1540, its strongest since April 2001.

Brazil will auction 12,500 contracts, each worth $50,000 at maturity, today from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. New York time, the central bank said in a statement from Brasilia.

I interpreted "let it pass" as you did nothing. I just read your Day 5 report. While I commend you for making your complaint to W and E, after not being refunded for your bad experience, I am surprised you actually patronized that club again. I know I am simplifying the situation and if you had taken the 1/2 off discount your WE days were done. My question to you is that place really worth that much to you? First, there are obviously other avenues to find company in Sao Paulo. Second, and for the amount of money you spent (which is way beyond my budget), you should expect nothing but exceptional service. Whether you came or not, a 15 min experience is not exceptional service.

I was quoted $R300 by a short mulata and every price after that was R$350.
These girls R also requesting 2 and 3 drinks, even though they do not even drink the drinks. In left at 2:30 empty handed.

At 2am garotas were still quoting $R350.
Most of the garotas were snapped up by older EURO's (age 40's -50's ) w/ bottles of drinks on the tables.

From my standards the house waas packed with 9's & 10's.
Now I'm North and starting the real trip.

The purpose of my report wasn't to put you down. I do respect your mongering, and I appreciate your well-written reports very much. I never got close to this high-end mongering in Brazil. I find it very fascinating and interesting.

My mongering is a mixture of everything from VM and short-times for R$ 10 up to termavisits and escortgirls. I do enjoy sleazy bars just as much as I enjoy sitting in a nice terma dressed in a comfy robe.

When I read your report I made a comparison to how a mongering day actually looks for me. I wanted go give a perspective of mongering in the other end. "Drinking water out of the toilet bowl instead of paying for a bottle of Evian" can be a pleasant experience.

Okay, sorry about being a bit defensive. As I wrote, I laughed hard when I read your report.
