I'll give Help another try on my next trip to Rio, although I really don't like staying up that late; Lorenzo

Doing a trip to Rio and going to Help everynight like I do is like working the night shift. In order for me to function and be semi awake at 2 or 3 in the morning I need to take a nap in the evening.

I usually hit the beach about 11 or 12 noon. Lunch on the beach from one of the sandwich girls, a few beers then Meia Pataca about 5 PM. Then I go to sleep at 7 or 8 PM and sleep to 10 or 11 and sometimes midnight. Shower, dress, dinner then enter Help refreshed and ready for that next lucky lady.

This last trip to Rio I had several numbers of non pros who when I spoke to them wanted to meet and have dinner with me between 7 and 8 PM. I met one for dinner at that time and it threw my whole schedule off as I missed my nap for the most part and when I hit Help at 1 AM I was not in my best form and made a bad choice plus I was exhausted. I threw all the non pro numbers away and kept to my original schedule that works for me and had a great trip.

I saw some earlier reports, where there were some comparisons between FKK clubs in Deutschland and Termas in Brasil. There has also, at times, been some pondering about Thailand vs. Brasil.

I was born in Germany and own a home in Castrop, near Dortmund. I also work for a German multi-national that has sent me to Thailand for 3.5 years and Brasil for extended periods of time.

Without going into a long drawn out post comparing pussy size at different locations, I will throw my 2 old DM into the ring and say that the quality in Brasil does not exist anywhere else in the world. I have been to many, many countries (only lacking in China interior sections and old Soviet areas approaching the stan's)......and I can still say Brasil is the best monger destination.

In Germany you have the "normal" boring life, same as the U.S. Everything is sort of organized and going to the FKK is like going to the dentist (and probably on the same street). In Thailand the life of the farang is safer and if you take minor precautions, you will not find trouble. There are some great bars and the ambiance is very interesting for a westerner. There is no better place to have a monger experience and a great travel experience. But, you have to engage with many girls before you find a keeper. It is like goldfish in a bowl, you might have to flush a few before you find a "live" one. Brasil has the most attractive women with features that western standards hold at the apex (i.e. Cosmo, Playboy, Penthouse, etc.). The termas are every man's fantasy. The meat (food) is great, sex even better. You have to watch your ass and put up with some impediments, but the rewards are priceless! (My opinion of course)

Last year I saw a sex show at Frank's bar (Av. Princesa Isabel, 185B, Copacabana, on the border with Leme). Straightforward multiple-position sex, though with none of the Thai acrobatics. Interesting to see, but Frank's is a ripoff joint (if you don't watch your drinks, the experience might cost you more than pumping a girl yourself). You might wanna check it out for the pure novelty of it, though.

Actually we probably agree on many things except one and that is that you think that Help is stricly for newbies and I don't understand that as I know many people who have been going there for years including myself for over 20 years and I don't consider them or myself a newbie. That's it.

My main objection to Help is that I thought the women there were mostly skanks and that the quality women were found in the termas. Hence my assumption that it was for newbies. However, since you posted those recent photos, in the Photo Gallery, of the girls you picked up at Help, I may be willing to reconsider. They were choice indeed! I'll give Help another try on my next trip to Rio, although I really don't like staying up that late; I've always been an early riser. Which is another advantage of the termas, you can get laid early, a few times if you want, then go home and go to sleep. Maybe I'm just getting old.

I know I cannot rely on somebody who has never been to Rio for advice on whether to shell out big bucks to visit another place.

I've been to Salvador and Rio on three different occasions, for a total of 6+ months (5 of them in Rio). Back in January for another three months or so.

I had very close relationships with several FKK girls but nothing like I have with the women I have met in Rio. My girlfriend experiences in Rio have included ironing my shirts, washing dishes and overall being sweet to me beyond belief. I predicted back in June that the exchange rate will hit 2.11 and I have 21 days left for correct prediction.

The real closed today the last day for trading 2005 at 2.339 to the dollar. I read that the Brasilian government would like to bring it up to 2.50. I would like it back to 4.

See. This is my point exactly. It is only from mongers who visit Brazil that I hear stuff like this. Other guys put TJ high on a list of places to monger, which is silly. I also here GOOD things about BA from some guys in the states (they tend to like TJ, too.) I personally cannot understand it! I know some people think it is just a matter of taste, but I cannot see how somebody would like to be with girls, TJ for example, who make it plain they do not want to be with you and rush you out of the room after 15 minutes!

From now on I only really listen to experienced Brazilian mongers for advise about where to go.

I go to Rio a lot too. I will be dwn there again in Jan., and at times think I need a breather too.

It would be nice if you would post on here to let us know when/if you have made a trip report in another section. I sometimes read other sections when trying to find another place to monger, but some of those guys THINK their spot is the best in the world. I know I cannot rely on somebody who has never been to Rio for advice on whether to shell out big bucks to visit another place. For example, I know guys who swear by Tijuana Mexico but the place is hole compared to Rio (20-40 minute screws from girls who look at the watch the entire time).

So keeping us informed on your perspective would be nice.
I would have pmed you, but I am sure some others feel the same way.
