We treat all of the citizenry with respect and appreciate the culture. Many learn the language and act as ambassadors once re-patriated. Alienating this group is absolutely senseless. Frankly, they need us a lot more than we need them. It is an overwhelmingly populated and busy city. The reputation for tourist crime is far more notorious than its reputation as a sexual tourism destination. Ironically, our money represents part of the solution to the reputation, not an additional problem.

Brazil have about 20% of biodiversity in the world. As usual when I’m in Rio I went, just for a look, at the “infamous” Meia Pataca and Help.

I must say that if you go there and eat around 1-3 PM you can still find stunners (7-8 in face but 9.5 in body) trying to make eye contact with you.

I found two, but I was not so quick to make the right contacts so the first girl went to another table (what a body!). The second was even better but came with a complete sucked off guy and ate breakfast (at 3 PM!) I could just think what she did him… She had a mouth!!!

She made me clear to understand (the guy was neraly sleeping in front of the table) to come tomorrow same time… And I promptly did, but I think I was some ten minutes to late. Postcards of bikini-clad beauties frolicking on Rio's famed beaches could be banned from sales in the city's shops and newsstands in an attempt to discourage sex tourism.

The Rio state assembly approved the ban Tuesday night, and state governor Rosinha Matheus has 30 days to ratify it.

"These postcards ... attract to our city the wrong kind of tourist and promote deplorable sex tourism," said the bill's sponsor, deputy Alice Tamborindeguy.

"I hope the governor sanctions this proposal because otherwise we are doing a disservice to the state and showing disrespect for women."

Postcards of lithe and tanned women in bikinis on beaches such as Ipanema and Copacabana are ubiquitous at sales points in Rio. The image was immortalized in the bossa nova song, "Girl from Ipanema."

With its sun, sea, mountains and sultry lifestyle Rio is a popular tourist destination. But prostitution is also rife, and the United Nations and other groups have expressed concern that it is growing as a magnet for foreigners seeking cheap sex.
