Well, just got back from Rio after 4 weeks of fun.

First of all, why do all people talk of the high quality girls in Rio, especially in Help. That is plain bullshit.. I have never in my life seen so many ugly hoes as in front of Help and even inside. Especially in front of help, you have to be really desperate to go with one of them.

Add to that all Americans that overpay the girls. Almost exclusivly black/negro americans pay the girls ridiculous money and the prices go skyhigh. Do you take pride in overpaying the girls, or is it impossible for you to get some when not paying these prices??? You pay the girls more for one pop then the monthly minimum salary in brasil, it's sick.

A researcher with 5 years university education in rio makes 900 reais a month. Thats what a working girl makes in one day in help..

So, stay out of help, it really sucks in many ways. Generally you should try to avoid places where americans go, because the prices will skyrocket.

Spent a week in fortaleza to, much nicer girls and almost no americans so the prices are much lover and the girls are younger and more beatiful.

For mongering I would recommend the call-in services. Very very beatiful pornstar quality girls, good prices and no hustle. This is what the wealthy brasilians prefer and of course they are right. You need to speak some portugese when calling to make yoiur appointment though..

JackDaniels, I kind of agree with you. I absolutely agree that Help and Centaurus are not worth it. I never bothered pulling a girl out of Help, but did go there everynight to browse. There was this one girl who worked in front of Help that I'm still kicking myself for not getting and it's been months. Centaurus was an absolute ripoff. Not even worth it. I would have left except it's prepay. But the termas alone are worth it. Luomo is good but 4x4 is great. Cheap and high quality. Sure there are a lot of so so girls but there are a handful of gems. Gotta go with Kid Cisco here, though I've also duly noted Saint's disclaimer about "Rio as a sex destination still beats most places [...]". IMHO, it beats pretty much any place I've ever been to in this world. Haven't been to BA, Argentina, though - so I feel utterly unqualified to compare the two. This time, I was in Rio from the end of June through mid-October - winter season, basically. Couldn't see a shortage of talent there - although there weren't a lot of tourists around. Never been to Rio around this time, though.

I also agree with Kid Cisco that, in case you're predominantly looking for blonds, there are certainly better places to go than Rio - while there are some hot ones to be found, it's probably more difficult and time-consuming than in other locations. If that's your primary concern (it isn't mine), Rio shouldn't be very high on your list.

However, if you like a variety of women and, in particular, if you like black/dark/mulata/mixed/"exotic" women, I still think that Rio is hard to beat. IMHO, of course.

Like others have said before, check it all out for yourself - Help, Terraco Atlantico, Meia Pataca, Balcony, the escorta agencies, the different termas -all documented and described here. Unless you're extremely picky or very specific about your type, I can't really imagine you won't find something you'll like.

Come to think of it, the hottest blond I ever saw (anywhere) was in Meia Pataca, of all places. Still kicking myself daily to this day that I never took a picture of her. Dammit. Will post some other pictures, though. I promise.

I half agree that Rio is a good destination. Termas are a great concept and as for the guy who invented it, may he be blessed with many children. OK, lets look at the totality of Rio. Help is awful, Centaurus is awful which leaves the other termas and the escort agencies. I know that Luomo is good. I have not tried the escort agencies as they were closed over the New Year period.

Guys contemplating their first trip should not have high expectations of the place. You should just go and appreciate everything that Rio has to offer and not just go for the girls. If you come here with very high expectations you may well be disappointed. As always, it is all in the eye of the beholder; my 7 could be your 2 and my 2 could be your 7. Do go to Help and see it for yourself. Maybe you hit it on a good day and find it good. I have just given my personal impressions.
