Help is absolutely dreadful. Vast numbers of 2's and 3's, a few 4's and 5's, even fewer 6's and you could count the 7's on the fingers of one hand. I was determined not to change my game plan. I was not going to leave with anything less than a 7. The girls look trashy and the huge amount of guys there appear to be similar. I was buying a drink at the bar and I moved a can of beer by a couple of inches on the bar counter to avoid knocking it over by mistake. There were 2 American guys next to me and one of them barked ''Hey, that is my beer''. I gestured my apology and he did not acknowledge. Just a trashy guy. I also saw guys walking around and grabbing girls' butts, much to the anger of the girls. This is an awful place.

I did find a nice looking girl, a 7, and I got friendly with her but I noticed a couple of small cold sores on her lips. You could only see them up close. You can't be too careful and I decided not to go with her although she was keen. I did have a full body fondle with her at the bar counter, including under her shirt (front and back). I was discrete though (JD is no exhibitionist). She was the only girl that I thought was worth doing, but I was not prepared to take a risk with the cold sores, which she said was caused by smoking. Yeah,right. Shame, she was rather nice and there was some kind of chemistry going on between us.

It was amazing to see 5's walking around with a prima donna demeanour. 2 blondes approached me, I would grade them as 4.5, and asked me which one I preferred. I was not in the least interested, but I played a game appearing to dither between one and the other. I then pointed to one and said ''Well, it is you''. She said that she would be $200. I said ''Hmmm, that is 520 reals, which is a lot''. She said ''Yeah, because we are beautiful''. I did not want to laugh out loud, so I made a tactful exit.

Centaurus terma is also the pits, but I managed to get together with one of the best lookers there and had a great session. So, I was happy with that. This once renowned place has become really bad, though they continue to act as if they are the best. The attitude of the front desk staff is poor.

Luomo is great and I had 2 great sessions with a blonde 20 year old, who provided great performances. Great kissing for a very long time in the bar before we got into the room. The good thing about termas is that you can try out before making a commitment and I knew she would be great.

I also got a great girl out of Barbarellas - another petite blonde who was really sweet.

I am never going to Help again. It really is the pits. I have never seen so many unattractive females assembled in one place. In fact I wonder if it is worth going to Rio again. I had great girls in BA and Sao Paulo. In SP, I got the perfect 10. She was good enough to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. No exaggeration. (Sorry, but my personal policy is no names and no photos).

I am reminded of a comment that JWadd made earlier and I do concur with his comment.

Here is another tip for you for what you want. Go to 4X4 ask for Bom-Bom. She will do anything you want, is very friendly and you will have a great time. But, like others are saying....get out there and find your own paradise. We all feel bad for your previous travel issues, but finding the gems is all the fun...and one man's gem could be another's trash!

It's all in the timing. Everyone goes to Rio in their summertime December - March prices are up and so are the number of guys.

At help, I seriously doubt that it was 7-1 and not even 1-1 but definitely not what it normally is in the off-season. when there are more guys in town they charge more and can pick and choose their dates for the evening. I've never heard of verbal NO's before but have had the $300USD quote NO's which means that I move on.

Also agree with Moondog that at Christmas time and New Years a lot of girls are at home with their families or with their boyfriends or favorite guys.

1)The termas are closed for Christmas and from what I understand only about 5-6 holidays of the year would Luomos or Monte Carlo be closed. 2)95% of the fun of Rio is finding your own ladies. What one person considers a hottie may not be attractive to you. Case in point, peruse some of the pictures in the Brazil photo gallery.

No seriously, I think thats where they all are. I was in Rio from April to September and I can't tell you how many girls I met in the termas that were either getting ready to leave for Europe, or had just come back and were planning to go back next year. It seems a lot of them start out in Portugal, but eventually make their way to Spain, Italy, etc, where there is even more money to make. Just to put it in perspective, I can honestly say the selection in April was at leat 5 times better than in September! So I actually watched with my own eyes the quality lower month by month.

But I guess I can't really balme them though. The way the dollar is going against the Euro, if I could work in Europe, I might do it too!

It is really no different than other major cities in Latin America. The best girls are out of town with their families, and the clubs and reataurants increases their prices due to the flock of tourists in town at this time.

It is the same in BA for tourists, but can be very nice if you know someone special that you want to be with during the holidays.

I went to Help again last night because it is the only thing open on NYE and New Year´s Day. It was horrible again. Maybe 3 hot girls out of hundreds. I didn´t have any problems with attitudes but the general theme is that there are so many guys that outnumber girls that the decent looking ones will give guys attitude if they don´t want to leave with them. My buddy Jack Daniels went up to talk to girls and they didn´t even say anything but NO. Literally that was the first word out of their mouth and they walked away. I saw the same thing with several guys. The girls just said, *NO*. I asked both girls that I pulled out and both told me that the ratio is such that they really do not have to leave with anyone that they aren´t attracted to. They said that they just keep saying no until one that they like comes up to them. I found this amazing but I guess if I were the girls, I would do the exact same thing. If you are going to make the same amount...why not leave with someone that you are attracted to?

I had better luck. I pulled a pretty blonde 21 year old from the South of Brazil. She spoke Spanish so we had no problems communicating. GREAT session and we hit it off. She spent the night for 300R. She gave me her home # and she wants to fly to Buenos Aires in March so we will see how it goes. I did this once before and it was great.

i decided to take a break and get out of buenos aires and get some beach time. i booked a last minute ticket to rio. i arrived the other night and i have been resting up. i do have to say the quality has gone way way down since i was here last year. i went to help 2 nights ago and really struggled to find a cute girl. i saw maybe only 2 hot girls. the rest of the girls looked like something you would find on the street or at mia pataca´s. it was bad. i did end up hooking up with a 19 year old cute blonde. i took some good photos of her and might post some shots when i get to buenos aires. she asked for 350 r but i quickly got her down to 250r. she stayed about 3 hours and i had a great time.

i hooked up with some friends at alcazar and i always ask myself why in the world everyone meets up there. i hate that place. it has to have the worst food with the worst service and the worst attitude. yesterday i got raped on the service and the food. get this. i order a normal steak sandwich and they have jacked up prices of something like 22r for a simple piece of steak between two pieces of normal bread. then i asked for lettuce and tomatos for the sandwich and they charged me 20r for a salad! what thieves. i ended up paying like 42r for a simple steak sandwich. i recommend everyone boycott that place. the service always sucks too.

anyway, a few of us hung around and watched the fireworks. i gotta say that even the normal girls in the streets the quality has gone way way down. what´s going on here? makes me damn glad i don´t live here. god bless buenos aires because after coming to rio it makes me realize how much i love the classiness of the city there. the fireworks sucked. there was no breeze so the smoke just built up from the fireworks and hung around so you could not even see the fireworks.

i went to help and i ran into my buddy jack danials from wsg. i met him in buenos aires and we hung around in help really late but the girls all sucked. literally the girl to guy ratio was like 7 guys for every girl. it was packed with dudes. the termas are all closed yesterday and today. i laid out on the beach today and i just ran into jack daniels here in the internet cafe. (small world). we are going to dinner tonight probably at zaza´s and probably will try help again.

i´m not just talking about the quality at help. there are over a million people on the streets of copacabana for the fireworks. over half of them are female. i had a hard time seeing many hotties out of over a million people. that is not an exaggeration. i walked around with my buddy, hemp several hours and i think it´s fair to say that neither of us were impressed.

don´t blame it on the newbies which i think has nothing to do with it. there simply aren´t as many hot girls around compared to two years ago. this is my 9th trip to rio over the past two years and this is the worst i have ever seen it. i have noticed a trend in south america (mainly buenos aires and rio) that the hot girls must be leaving for greener pastures.

the one funny moment last night was in help. this hottie that i saw 1.5 years ago that i had a great time with was with her boyfriend. she stopped to talk to me and asked if i was still dating my girlfriend. i told her no. my ex was really pissed at this girl because when she came to my house in the usa she found all these naked pictures of the girl. this girl´s boyfriend didn´t seem to happy that we were talking about me having naked pictures of her. oh well. what the f*ck do you expect when you come to help for nye with your ex-pro girlfriend???? hilarious!

i´m hooking up with jackdaniels for dinner then we are heading to help again. i won´t leave empty handed tonight. i´ll post some pictures of the girl i saw the other night. she was cute.
