If you are bored with the Termas and Help, try the agencies. These are the best ones IMHO:

You have to speak a little Portuguese to set up the date, but the girls are great, and they are used to cheapskate, rough Brasilians, so they are DELIGHTED to get a nice Gringo. Also cheaper.

Then, try Buenos Aires for a change of pace.
The scene is not quite as wild, and there is no beach, but the city and the people are much more elegant and refined.

It's happened to me. Its happened to some older guys that I know that has been traveling there since the late 80's.

It's not reality. You have got to put that place into perspective. You have to.
Its not sustainable. Its a 20-30 day fantasy that slowly erodes your sense of reality.
I know guys that go there for ony for days and all they do is sit at those tables and talk about how much of a KING they have become.

Some guys have been going there for 5yrs and has not ventured off of Avenida Atlantica.

I read these post and these guys are serious about RIO. It has absorbed their igamination and has become their reality.

I used to think I can marry one of these girls but be serious, it would all be an economic benefit for them. You would get nothing but cheap mechanical sex. Thats it.

They can't help you with a mortgage payment.

I used to think of moving there, so I took the time to learn the language and I am glad I met an Italian older guy who said listen this should only be a momentary escape. When I go to Brazil now, I am only traveling thru RIO to get to another destination.

RIO ANTIGO, is actually cheaper than that. My last experince was around $R180. I do not think its over $R200. This is one of the cheaper places but it was not very comfortable inside for me. Someone said it has been renovated so maybe this explains the higher price.

The accomodation looks very good. Didn't see a better one in the any other therma.

Not claiming to be an expert but I have been traveling to Brazil for over 6 years and I have stayed as long as 6 months in one visit. I will be moving to Brazil this year or very early next year. I just bought a place in Ipanema and I am having Kenn of EZ-riorentals.com do the renovations for me and furnish it for me.

I can not belive the turner over at these places.

I was in RIO in DEC and in MAY.

The goratas the worked at the Termas in DEC were gone by MAY.

I could only find 2 or 3 garotas that I had met. They move on quickly.

I am still trying to find one particular garotas from SOLARUIM. I have her cell but she always has to go. She is from a small town near Joao Luis.

I went out with her food and dancing twice but in MAY. I could not find her.

I think she may have stopped working and went to become a school teacher.

I did not like the choices of goratas either. They did not it it for me. But you may find a 9 or 10 there depending on when you go.

There are some TERMAS in ZONA NORTE also but these can as I am told get a bit dangerous for non-Brasiliareros. Ask a taxi to take you to see goratas in the Norte. They are located in the areas of the flavelas.

I have not been but I have spoken to a gorata that has worked in several before arriving at 4X4.
