Well Well Well. #1. Is your girl by-sexual?

If yes jump into the pond buddy.

If not Get a room at the best western Irazu or stay out in escazu.

Not to be confused with the zoo. PS stay away from that if your girl like animals. sic not refering to you. But the sj zoo is pretty depressing.....

I saw on Lonely Planet that West of downtown, La Sabana, Rohrmoser and the east end of town in Barrio Amón house are nice. Any suggestions?

I appreciate it. Thank you in advance my fellow mongers.
If you go to San Jose with a girl, I don't recommend the downtown area that contains hotel Presidente and del Rey. Go to the turist areas that has the 4 and 5 star hotels with beachfront. If you bring a girl to the downtown area, she will definitely see other mongers with girls and I really don't think she will like that.

Presidente is good too. A few mongers there but not as bad as Del Ray.

to #2964....you must have great skills....

must tell you, i have been to san jose 4 times in the last 10 months and i feel i can work the girls at the bm and kl with the best of the them and the lowest i have ever gotten out of there is 40.00 and she had 30lb of ass stuffed into a 10lb pair of jeans ( didnt see the extra 20 until the jeans came off)As you may have read i have given up on the blue marlin and key largo due to the fact the best i can really do, is get them for 50.00 and they are in the 5 to 7 class and hit or miss in the value department. So for me the little clubs have been the value, thanks for posting those 2 new places they will be on my to do list in march. Please anyone in san jose or has just returned we need to see some posts from your trip and those little bars or clubs that you have had some good luck in whould be nice to read about.

Well only 17 days to XMAS.

Had a great Thanksgiving trip. Too busy to ever set foot into ZB, NF or the Sportman's Club.

I decided too try other places and just walk around. Out for the evening I started at Bella Masion. 1000 got me in the door and my 1st beer. Beside the regular's I met a 18 & 19 yr old who had been in the business about 2 weeks.

At 8000 - 10000 a go they were a deal. Willing to please and learn.

Headed out to Club Monaco and as I was passing the old shut down Josefine's I was beakened into a New place called Bar Tanga.

It was like girls night gone wild. I was the only Gringo in the place and I had a ball. Small pole dance area; very up-close and personal.

Drinks were a 1000 per beer 1500 for the dames. 2000 for a well drink for the girls. Music was good and loud but they were willing to turn it down so you could here what you were saying to each other.

Girls were 10,000 - 15000. I elected take out service and had a great session at my Hotel with a muy bonita / flacka Nancy. Her sister Maribel was as nice.

I never made it to Club Monaco.

My hats off to Angelo of Pension Europe 2000. Not only did he have a great selection but he has started a Hotel Park kind of show on Friday & Saturday nights upstairs from Alcazar. Thats across from Lipstick. The place is very clean and has rooms to rent during the day and night.

Sisters Paula & Alisia stated the show off. There were about 10 girls in attendance 6 -10's depending on your standards. From my conversations the girls were freelanceing before going to work at Scarlett's, Kamur, Pantara Rose and I guess a few had gone home to freashen up after a day at Oasis.

    Beers were 1000 - 1500.

I met Tim who had just bought Casablanca. The new name of the place is Centerfold's. The girls were 7 - 10's with a couple of the origional dancers still in residence. Tim even brough back Elaine who had started there in 03 and had been manageing the Doll House as house manager. Her English is great. Hes off to a great start and I wish him well.

Drinks for the girls started at 3500. 2000 admission inclueded your first beer.

Talk to Tim and introduce yourself. He has a VIP program for people who visit SJ 4-5 + times a year. Plus there is an old guy (Mario) out on the streets of the Gulch handing out 2X1 drink cards.

The Old Central Massage on Calle 4 that was burned out has been re built and the name is now Ros Gris. Girls are Hit or Miss, But at 10000 worth the visit. Plus if its raining you can call for TAKE OUT.

The New York Bar was a nice place to see and visit some of the girls from the old Park Hotel. Edis is now between there and the Sportsmans Club.

At 10000, 12000 & 15000 worth the visit. The kitchen is still one of the best in SJ for a snack.

A trip to SJ just would not be complete without a visit to 6th street.

Girls starting at 3000 what a deal

Did not have a chance to get to SO BE NY(sic). I love the place. Out of the way; I find it a little pricey. But the selection of girls changes monthly and just keeps getting better. Worth a look see.

I went into the KL and it was dead and full of plastic 5's.

Went over to the DR and more of the same. I did go into the DR one afternoon just as a giant bus load of elder Gringos were ck'ing in.

The girls were going wild with comment's like GOLD MINE and SANTA CLAUSE as they got up from their tables to stake there claims.

PS I do not know why anyone would pay a 100.00 at the DR when the girls for the most part will walk out of there with you for as little as 30.00.

That tid bit is my holiday presant to you all.

    Well guy's, FELIZ NAVIDAD

    Testing 1 2 3

This is a test. I posted a report the other day that seems to not have been posted.

Thanks alot guys. I'll be looking forward to that new report. 15k for 2. That's too good to be true. Prices keep getting better all the time.

I'm considering going down Christmas week. Hope that isn't a bad time.

Thanks for the input Gang. I know it's a long flight but for these prices, regardless if we are only there for 8nights- 10 night total. I actually live in Texas but have many free southwest tickets from work to get me to LAX.

I also have been to HKG and Taipei for work before and sure the jetlag gets to you, but what the hell..I'm on vacation and during Spring Break too.

Personally, i have been going to CR for over 10 years and I get to go to Buenos Aires often for work. I sure love the Latin Ladies but figured it might be time to finally see the Land of Smiles at those airfare rates, considering CR is running 550 those weeks.

Thanks again for the input gang!

That is equivalent to going to bed at 6PM and gettting up at 3AM in LA, so I'm not sure how that helps that much. Even if it does, it doesn't addresss the other half of what I said.

Even with out a radical time change that type of flight will throw you off for a day or so, particularly on the return trip when you have to return to work.

I wasn't saying he shouldn't go to LOS. I've been to both LOS and CR several times and love them both. If I had 2 weeks or more I would probably pick Thailand. The radical tightening of the usual airfare difference is also certainly a major factor. All I was suggesting was that if he only has a week, he should consider more than just the cost of airfare or else consider taking more time off. If he can't, maybe what he should do is wait until he can. Also whether you're talking $550 for airfare or $750 its still not cheap either way. Maybe what he should do is wait until airfares come down to reasonable levels. They may not come down much for BKK, but the current rates are not that unusual and should be around later when he has more time to spend. Gas prices are coming down and the summer off-season travel rates for CR should return in just a few more months.

I am thinking of checking out Thailand due to the airfare is almost as expensive as it is to Costa Rica right now. Anyone got any comparrisons?
It's high season now in CR, so no bargains. I think UA is cutting back service as well.

You're looking at $500 or so with tax from most of the LA airports. About what it was 4 or 5 years ago. In the last year there were many sales in the $200-$250 plus tax range, however.

Thailand is nice, but very hectic. It's about 16-17 hours of flying from LAX (Plus any connection time), and that's a long time to be in a sardine can.
