Many of the old timers I have spoken to who retired in Costa Rica speak highly of Nicuragua as the next CR.
Not sure about the GFE experience there though, perhaps somewhere outside San Jose.
I went to Quito, Ecuador last year and was amazed about how clean and relatively cheap the city was. Many Americans retire there. Prostitution is not out in the open; some real hot casas and bars (highly recommend Cafe Rojo next to the airport for on site action with a number of fine Columbianas).

Posts: 60I will be going to San Jose around Halloween with some friends. We are thinking of staying in the Escazu area. Will the girls give us any trouble of wanting to go back to Escazu?

Posts: 70Digital Curry I think you should seriously consider ECUADOR. I have not been there but the reports seem to imply that the girls are much cheaper than in Central America. Also much cheaper to live there. Good chance of GFEs too since you speak Spanish.

Posts: 96Central America? Where? Caribbean?
Can somebody recommend where I should go in the Caribbean or Central America? (I have free miles on Spirit Airlines- not Colombia.) I would be grateful if you send message or comment here.
I speak fluent Spanish- I have little money- Mid-40s and decent looking- I don't drink. I like girlfriends / Semi-pros with GFE, but not brothels nor hard-core prostitutes. Innocent between 18 and 25. No pimps, nor greed. Girls with necessity. I like country girls, Campasinas.
I want easy and cheap girls, but I'm tired of Cuba. Spent a year there. Really, this is partially reconnaissance. Maybe I can find someplace that would be nice to live. Thus, I was thinking Costa Rica- it has a lot of amenities but I bet it is expensive. Can you get inexpensive girls in the countryside? How far do you have to travel from San Jose? Nicaragua? Honduras?
Panama (Too many Americans, expensive?)
Nicaragua (Too Catholic? Safe? Easy girls or no?)
Costa Rica (Expensive?)
El Salvador (Too dangerous? What are the girls like? Safe to leave the city?)
Honduras (The girls are easy and pretty. Dangerous? Safe to leave the city? Scummy?)
Guatemala (Girls not easy. Very Catholic. Time to get a girlfriend. In general not that pretty.)
Jamaica (This would be a fun alternative. No chance I would live there. Black, white, latin-all ok)
Dominican Republic (Like Cuba, too many Americans, expensive, many hard-core prostitutes.)

Posts: 829[QUOTE: These girls make PLENTY of money from fat, old, bald Americans and Europeans. 100 USD for an hour is insane expensive. Thats a whole night session in Rio LOL. So a night out with a young (early 20's) good looking american is actually a pleasant retrieve from the normal not so satisfying routine they are accustomed to.
Like I said I may not pull the first girl for free but ONE of these girls will be leaving with me for free. It never fails.[/QUOTE]
You'll be laughed out of the Blue Marlin.

Posts: 3Costa Rica, to go or not to go
Looking at going to Costa Rica but never was interested until recently. I heard you can get roughly 4 girls all week to stay with you and friends for around $600 USD. Is this true or am I hearing a bunch of BS? Looking for an apartment as I don't care for hotels. Usually stay about 10 days at a time. Where is the best area to go? Are live in gf / maid a real thing or someones fantasy? Or should I burn my airmiles and just go to Colombia or Brazil?
Thanks for any info.

Posts: 9Chase did not charge me a conversion fee, but charged me a non Chase ATM charge when I pulled dollars out of the ATM in the Del Rey, But the Del Rey ATM would only let me pull $200. 00 out at a time. When I used the ATMs that Nixonbd is talking about I pulled dollars out and again Chase didn't charge me a conversion charge but the ATM and Chase charged me a $3. 00 Non customer /bank charge.
I was only charged conversion fees when I pulled colones out of the ATM in the Colonial.
This was in May 2010 and 2009

I was charged a foreign currency fee even though I was in my house in the USA. I bought my airline ticket with COPA and since COPA is based in Panama and that was the billing address then I was charged the conversion fee.
Never mind Panama Balboa and the dollars are pegged one to one, there is no such thing as balboa currency other than coins $1, quarters, nickels, dimes.
