Sure, but 'Aus Dodo' asked explicitly for another option, or am I wrong?

    Cheers!

Sammon, have you ever taken the reg bus?

I'm assuming you have and I agree with everything you say. (this is a disclaimer, not for Sammon, but for the members who want to claim that I'm a "constant complainer" or "criticizer" or "troll" or whatever words she is using at the moment.)

I've been to AC many times, but the times that are most memorable are the local bus rides, with the roosters, crying kids, and my own disorientation about where the fk am I and what do I do next. Some people like adventure, and some don't. How much does a taxi go for these days? 2K?

Even Swagman provides adventures...on the return to MNL, decrepit old bus stalled right in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in MM...not far from the Rizal Park area. And last year there were the floods, I was expecting my luggage to be waterlogged when it finally was disgorged in AC. Much to my delight, everything was in order.

    X

And some people are on a budget. The bus is not a bad trip.

Which jeepney from Dau bus depot will get me closest to the mall or to the other side of fields --near Perimeter, as my hotel (Brass Knob) is at the other end of fields ?

    Thanks
I heard there is a jeepney from Macarthur that takes you to the checkpoint near Fields. If your hotel is along perimeter that means another jeepney. Most deal with the trike pirates. Either way, not ideal if you have a lot of luggage.

The yellow building with the restaurant Tequila Reef, just down from Kokomo's on blow row. If you go up the stairs, there is a relatively decent place. Elvie and I beleive Jun and his brother who use to sing at Blueberry Hill work there...if its still operating.

    Bus to Angeles City

My friend and I usually go the Pasay Bus Terminal and they have buses that leave about every 30 minutes to the Dau bus terminal and then just take a trike to Fields Ave. Be sure to negotiate those pirates. two of us about 200 pesos. The bus ride is about 140 pesos I think around there. Hope this helps. The ride is about one and a half hours.

Most (all?) of the filipino specialty restaurants and especially the food courts add MSG to their food.
    Gerry's Grill does.
Filipinos call it by the alternative names of "vetsin" or "ajimoto" after the brand name of the huge factory that produces it in Pasig. It is never marketed as MSG - always vetsin or "flavor enhancer".
I now avoid most of these places because I can feel my body reacting badly to the presence of MSG in my food (very dry lips and mouth, tingling upper lip, headache about 3 hours after ingestion).
It is interesting to note that more and more places (inc Korean restaurants) are putting up clear signs saying "No MSG" for those discerning diners who don't wish to have this unnecessary chemical added to food to enhance its taste. The major hotel chains (and I have asked them) like Shangri-la and Crowne Plaza that have international chefs don't use it.

I am NOT starting up a discussion about the merits or otherwise about MSG so those of you who like it can go on enjoying it. I choose to exercise my right to choose NOT to eat it if I can avoid it.

Like many others, I was amused by your post. Nevertheless, there is no way to know she "lied".

I hope and expect BF was fkn like crazy in Philippines as well as Iceland. Not to mention Japan. The old goat in Japan (chess pro) actually claimed him as her husband. Some money involved. And people hope.

I find it kind of lame to call all Filipinas liars just because one gal got fkd by a rich guy and got a dna check.

Who knew filipia's lied about stuff like that lol.
