Hi westy, I know that vikings bar has been raided on a few occasions, can't remember if that was slightly before covid or slightly after.

Although vikings was a korean oriented bar as in such that the managers were koreans and most of the punters using the bar were korean, as to who the owners are now then bars change hands on a regular basis, so not sure, what is sure is that the koreans are buying up every available bar, hotel, restaurant or empty premises that is available, the amount of korean money pouring into angeles is very high.

A word about bar raids to the noobies.

Almost all bars in angeles city have been raided at some time over the recent past, some for employing under age girls, some for human traffick violations, prostitution violations etc.

To say that any bar or group of bars is imune to raids is wrong as shown already, what is sure is that owners, mummies, bar girls do get arrested and detained, skme for long leriods, punters so far have got away with being detained in bar raids, normally being detained while the raid is in progress but released after showing ID and answering some questions.

Raids do occur and will continue to occur, some can be bargained away some can't and result in permanent closure, what most important is that up to now punters have not been detained that's not to say it won't happen in the future.

Closed down the bar on a "health" violation should be back up and running with "new" management shortly.

They allow the koreas to escape, maybe this is rolled into their protection plans fees. They just fail to follow up until they are long gone. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't give them a heads up before they come looking for them so they can say they looked but didn't find them. Not in their best interests to get rid of the golden goose.
