Started my first night at Genesis around 6 pm. Bar was fairly empty, maybe 10 girls onstage of which none interested me. 7 years ago the girls used to walk to and from work and go on barfine dates with guys in tight short booty shorts and tight form fitting spandex fitting shirts. Sexy as hell. Owl's Nest is finally updating the front of their bar. This is huge because I believe it has always been the ugliest frontage of any bar. One of the only bars I have never been in. Every time I went to go in the stage was so small and only 3-4 girls on it so never made it inside. They have been working on it for a week now. Just can not figure out why oh why our resident know-it all has not updated us. Now Pussycat123. This is not a new bar. It is a bar that is simply getting a facelift so it can not be counted as a NEW bar.

Las Vegas bar has been in existence about 20 years. I nearly peed my pants when I looked up and they had finally cleaned it during my last visit 5 years ago. I think it has only been cleaned once ever.

Small changes I have noticed from 7 years ago. The girls no longer wear "Summer Dresses" which were these simple cheap dresses which were the attire of choice when going to hygiene, or pajama pants. I loved both.

I have not seen one "mixed black" girl on walking street or bar. Guess the Koreans are partly to blame for this. Used to always be 2-3.

Many girls used to wear "white face" where they looked like damn clowns at the Korean bars. I do not think I have seen one snow white face yet. Someone please explain to me why this finally disappeared.

Stupid girls can not figure out why they never have money. Simple, they need to take a trike everywhere. I explained to a girl I had to go almost to Mabalacat to Accumed. Trike would have cost around 130 p. Instead I walked just past Astro Park on MacArthur to catch a jeepeny for 15 p. Trike costs 8.5 times more. Is it 8. 5 times more comfortable? No. 8.5 times faster? No. So the expense is not justified. The biggest reason for me is that I hate trike drivers with a passion. I will walk miles or in the rain just to avoid giving them 1 p. Basically only if I have luggage.

Somethings will never change. Stupidity of the stores. I like the coffee slushy for 55 p at Uncle Johnnys (old Mini Stop). 3 slushy machines but my coffee flavor is the one out of order. She says the machine is broken. I go to another location near Astro Park. Same thing. The other 2 are working but my coffee machine is not. This tells me that two coffee flavor machines are not broken, but that there is problem from the supplier for that flavor.

I try to get the large Coconut shake near ACE bar but she says no more stock of large bottles. Another time I came late after 8:00 pm and she tells me they are closed. Later I noticed their other store on Fields near McDonalds which is open until 4:00 am. Did the stupid "be" ever tell me to go try the other location? Hell no.

Korean buddies wanted to go to XS bar after eating at Kokomos. Korean bars suck. Most of the girls are wearing business attire type dresses and not cocktail type sexy dresses. I can not tell if they have huge thighs, fat ass, tummy baby damage, or even boobs. The night I went the dresses covered their cleavage so I could not tell. If I can get past that part I then have to check if they are drink only girls who never leave the bar, only go with Koreans, menstruation, and then short time or all night. If they are part of any dance group I may have to come back later after they finish with all their shows. The girls used to dance on stage 10+ years ago. Then the girls just moved side to side (aka The Shuffle) 5 years ago. Now they just stand there on stage and their excitement shows.

The life is being sucked out of Fields. The only bars worth going into are the Western run bikini wearing bars. I fail to understand why you guys go into these bars. If the girls in a strip bar in Western countries were wearing these business type dresses you would walk out. You guys that go to these stupid bars like XS. Do they even use the stripper poles there any more? Remember when one of the girls would climb all the way to the top in a bikini and twist and turn coming all the way down?

Been to Angeles several times before, most recently in 2017 and 2019 pre-covid with good experiences. This trip in 2024 was my first time back in 5 years so was interested to see what has changed.

Managed to get away from the wife and family during a recent vacation to Taiwan for a couple days and make my way back to Angeles. A little background on me, 30 years old, American born Asian, good shape and build.

Stayed at Central Park Tower as I had in my previous trips. Rooms still look the exact same LOL, but no complaints and well worth the $100 USD daily rate to get a corner room up on the 10th floor with the bathtub and shower.

Landed in the new Clark airport on a Tuesday morning straight from the states (transfer in taipei). $300 peso ride direct to hotel from airport and checked in with no issues. Took a nap until 5 pm and went straight to walking street to see what's changed. Being my first trip in 5 years, didn't even bother to research on here before arriving (should have in hindsight).

People watched like many do for an hour at Kokomos and taking it all in before hitting up the bars. I randomly asked an older man next to me which bars were good and he recommended a couple further down walking street. First observations were that a lot has changed since 2019, definitely less people overall, and more Korean presence. A couple of the bars I remember going to before had closed as well further down walking street, specifically in the alleys before hitting McDonalds.

Overall, would say my experience was great, even better than what I remember from 2017 and 2019 (those trips were good as well). Most of the korean food I ate this trip was average at best, and I'd rather eat that than jolibee / mcd shit.
