Of course, one thing that is often missed when discussing long term stays is access to civilian girls. I did go to their website and there was a chat option. Started asking the price for 6 Am to 6 Pm. Whoever the person was checked with the manager and came back and replied they do not do hourly basis. Yes it maybe true nook and extend maybe an option but I do not trust knuckleheads in Philippines who may throw me out at 12 noon. My flight lands early morning around 4 am. My plan is go personally go and walk around Ermita, mabini (I know the area very well) and talk to the manager on duty and make a deal. Need a pretty decent hotel even if it costs more. I might ask New Coast hotel where I stayed 4 nights last trip. They charge $100 with breakfast but hotel is 5 star. Since it is a casino hotel maybe they are willing to accommodate me. If I am not successful I will go to short term hotels. I would like to avoid them because I like luxury, clean, safe rooms.

As for girls it is not a problem for me. I can get from DIA. Will try to get new ones There are my previous trusted friends who will stay with me whole day. My flight to Jakarta leaves around 9 pm. No need to go to LA cafe unless I hit roadblocks.

With phi airlines it should be booked well ahead to get cheaper fares. For my next trip in March I booked on Philippines Airlines to multiple stops including Jakarta and paid only $1200. They have very few initial cheap prices. Otherwise it gets expensive. Cheapest flights are on Eva Airlines. Excellent service and decent timings. Philippines airlines usually arrives very early in the morning.

On another note I need a short time hotel in Manila from around 6 am to 8 pm in March. What will be the best approach? Preferably around Ermita. Will the regular hotels do that if I go directly and ask?

You can call and reserve in advance, and give them your specific inbound / outbound time, so they can have the room waiting for you upon arrival. Not sure what documents you will need (if any) upon check-in at that time.

I used Sogo for a few hours the other day, and the only papers I was asked for at check-in are called pesos.
