There have been increasing counterfeit bill in PI the last 2 yr on 1000 and 500 peso bill so becareful where you change your money don't go with tout you meet at the st of Malate with promise of high rate, I am not sure why Butterfly bar is passing the counterfeit bill with a good chance of getting caught and being closed down.

As an FYI, Santos Road is different from Pattaya Soi Six. The bars are like miniature beer gardens, and in the morning not much girls sitting out. It is not like Soi Six where you have all the eye candy paraded before you. That being said, its a great place to have a drink with no pressure from the girls. I found a few gems, and in fact had a short time before I left for the airport. The girls will make sure you know it is short time in the am.

Located a block off of Fields so its an excellent location. Highly recommended with great staff and better than average food for AC.

Agree, recommend the Horny Toad Bar if you stay in PB. Less than a 5 minute walk.

Santos Street is your best bet. 700 pesos for short time in your hotel.

I'm currently planning a trip to Angeles City and I'm curious if there are some bars that are comparable to Soi Six, Pattaya in terms of overall price for action. From what I've read it seems perimeter bars are cheaper. Any recommendations? Thanks!
