What tourist tax? There is no such thing for arriving passengers in any airport in Philippines.

When leaving there is a departure airport tax. Most of the time it depends on the airline you are taking. It will be included in the price paid. I take major international airlines from Manila so that airport tax is already included. When I was in the immigration line when departing they were directing some passengers to another window I believe to pay the tax. Obviously some airlines ticket does not include airport tax. Last time I travelled domestic round trip from Manila to cebu on Air Asia. I did not have to pay anything at both airports.

I would check with the airline.

I ran in to an 8.5+ that I have known for 7 years. She is 26 now with 2 kids. Still one of the greatest bodies around and might I add a tight kitty. We had a great time catching up. So much so that I will be taking her to Boracay tomorrow for 3 days. Direct flights from Clark to Boracay are available now for $60 one way. Great Boracay hotels for under $100 a night.

My 3 nights Boracay vacation is coming to an end. Flight tomorrow to Manila for 2 nights and then home. My friend is flying to Manila with me and the will take the Genesis bus back to AC. She asked me if I would want her 20 year old friend to come stay with me? Wtf! After seeing her picture I said heck yes! 20 yo was shy and wanted my friend to stay the night too. Friend was ok with that. They will ride the bus back together.

I have another girl coming from AC for my final night and she will catch the bus back in the morning. My flight is out of terminal 3 so it works out good. BTW, I am staying at Savoy Hotel across from Terminal 3.

AC is shit. Some love it. Some hate it.

G and DG make some good points. I still like AC but then again I also like Manila, Cebu, Subic, Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Hanoi, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Have visited all these and more (as I know many of you have). Hell, I lived in AC back in the heydeys of 82 to 84. Now I live outside of Dumaguete so it is easy to go to all of these places. The thing about Angeles it is very easy to get quality pussy and not expensive if you are coming from any Western or predominantly English-speaking country. And Filipina girls are so sweet -- well, the vast majority. I am retired here and it is one of the best decisions I ever made with the shit show going on in the USA and most other places. No place is perfect but for me, PI is about as good as it gets. And AC is a fairly inexpensive Disneyland for Adults. Get a ticket and go on the rides. Life is good!

AC is shit. However, it's also something that should be experienced by every newbie monger to visit the Philippines. Some love it. Some hate it. If you're the later, don't sit and whinge about it, move on: Subic is two hours away; back track to Manila or; Clark has a zillion domestic flight connections.

The odds are stacked on your side. After visiting for nearly 30 years and travelling over much of the Philippines, I've had one encounter where she insisted on me tarping up. One. Yes it was in Angeles but to be fair, she was trying to pisss me off so that I would throw her out early. It worked. I'm assuming those are odds you can live with.

Money is not an issue. Filipinas aren't even my type, but AC just seems to be the BBFS capital of the world. I wish Thailand offered BBFS but I've been told that's rare.

Throwing money around does not guarantee a good time in PI. If anything girls' prices and performance are inversely related. I have to think to recall any high priced girls who were great lays. Yet I have many provincial princesses that will remain burnt into my memory until the day I die.

I moved from Bangkok to Pattaya for a few days yesterday.

In summary (sorry about the long post): in town for a few days, not super fussy and want point and shoot, then go to AC and have a blast; have some extra time, looking for better quality and looking girls and prepared to put in some ground work, then bypass AC and go to Cebu.

I agree. There is no change over the years in regards the possibilities AC vs Cebu.

The change is in the budget. AC, years ago, a budget of 100. -$ a day all inclusive was good for excellent fun. Nowadays be ready to spend 300. -$ or more a day. (I talk about 1 week tourists!

Otherwise stay back home and don't moan about the bygone good old times.

I tend to keep the two separate (now). When I need a rest night (no nawty) during my stay (then, pre-covid), I might go out perving alone as you suggest (or with a mate). But not barfining. When out trying to do both, 3 drinks in and I start conflating the two. Four drinks into my night at bar #3, intending to barfine, having fun with a cutie that is agreeable to a barfine, and its too late for me. I confess that my constitution has changed (a decade ago) and is such that there will be no junior-joy this evening. My age shows itself. Its been a wonderful evening, and the perving can continue. But not with a barfine. A drink in bar #1 looking over the talent. Two drinks in bar #2 (one each with different cuties), and then one drink with a cutie in bar #3, and its over. Its been good fun. Can continue at bar #4 with a bottle of water maybe, more perving. Alcohol, and bar-carousing have become, for me, the antithesis of barfining. Much easier to skip the booze and carousing on a barfine evening. Keep a bottle of tequila or RH in the room and have (only) 1 with the girl, should she want one. The good-old-days of bar crawling, perving, and barfining ended for me not because of the Koreans, but because my constitution changed. Also, another gent I met at Kokomo's, older and wiser than me, had found ways to change up the barfine system that was in place, to either save himself some money, or more importantly (to him) time in accessing bargirls. He had created methods to:

1) Not buy a LD when barfining. 2) Get bargirls to 'cheat the bar' on their time off, and pay about half the barfine amount. 3) Get into certain bars, and be back outside with his barfined gogo gal in 10 minutes. 4) Other things, some of them genius. Once I adopted some of his methods, I found it useful to stop drinking in bars (clouded my judgement, reduced Johnson thru-put), get in / out with a girl and vax someone.

That's for barfining. When I am with my regulars on a LT, we often go out for live band, drinks, food, carousing. Quite possible we will skip the evening joy and have it in the morning, depending my mood / energy. When barfining it would be (for me) a dereliction of duty to not hammer the girl shortly after the barfine, even on a LT where she is available in the morning.
