Thank you for your response. Usually on my trips to Pattaya, I buy a box from street vendors and it has always worked well for me. I don't use all the sachets, I bring many of them back to my country and give them to my friends, who are also amazed at how well they work. Once I'm there and depending on the situation, I'll either buy on the street or at the pharmacy (I think they're called Southstar, right?) If I'm going to spend day and night "fucking", I'll eventually need some doping, hahaha.

Angeles remains fairly quiet for punters and girl numbers, very few western faces to be seen, koreans and other asians are the dominant punters by far.

There have been more bar raids over the last few days, bars are super careful about talking or taking barfines openly, some bars have put in place new rules but still able to barfine in most bars but obviously more carefully.

Many bars visited with my group of friends just did not have a party vibe, girls sitting around instead of dancing, many girls playing with their phones and looking bored instead of playing with some cock.

Best 3 bars on walking street remain to be xs bar, Q bar and avalon bar, high energy dance shows, girls that were happy, no phones in sight, some cuties in all 3 bars, high number of asian customers, some of the top girls want drinks only and do not barfine, some girls will barfine but are very choosy on who with, many asians spending money like its going out of fashion and obviously these guys are getting the most attention from the girls.

Angeles is what it is, some bars are dead with little fun, a few bars are a pleasure to have a drink in especially the asian oriented bars, take away xs bar, QBar and avalon bar and the fun factor and girl quality falls dramatically IMHO.

I appreciate the diversity of opinions on AC on this thread. I like your posts and I like his.

We are all adults and can deal with the spectrum of opinion to form our own beliefs. Personally I'm not a huge Angeles booster- my experiences have borne out much of what NS has said. But at the same time I don't disbelieve your accounts and others who have glowing reviews. I can see how both can be true. Angeles has many things that are missing in Pattaya: almost universal BB, easygoing Filipinas. It also has some real downsides: Korean oriented market, limited things to do in the city. Everyone can make their own decisions based on their own values and tastes.

Seems that some on this board can not be adults, mention that angeles is a shadow of its former self, that there are many drinks only girls, there are korean only girls, there are runners, there are police set ups, there are girl set ups etc, which all happens to be true and guys start to spit out their dummy, why, because most are fantasists, they see only their dream in their own immagination, break that dream for some and all hell breaks loose.

Its funny how over time I have offered to go on a friendly barhop and pick up the entire tab with many members who claim to see only stunners in angeles bars, most recently to member sir lancelot, rather than agree my generous offer he continues to accuse anyone that does not see what he sees as being a pattaya bar owner and a liar, why not come and see for your self who I am rather than flame and hide behind a keyboard.

Yes we all have different oppinions on the quality of girls and mongering destinations, I truly find that those that are even just a little bit fussy in girl choice are left disappointed most nights in the bars of angeles, those that might set the girl bar lower will find some to their liking, its not rocket science just common sence, not sure why the need to throw dummies around.

Well it was this same bar and the same girl that I took home two weeks ago, just handed the total amount to the waitress. No giving the girl the barfine money. The only difference is the police raid that shut down GOLD for having 3 underage girls working there. So maybe some bars or just the wait staff are trying to keep their hands off that money.

Never believe the whole story. It has been known for the police agencies to set up and put plants in the bars and shake them down pretty heavily. One method during the raid is they would load up all the girls, waitresses and mommasons and take them to an undisclosed holding area. They would hold them until the proper resolution fees are paid by the owners.

Some how the police are allowed to detain them for a week or two before filing charges. Once paid they are released with no charges filed. The case magically disappears.

A few years back when raids on bars were getting common you couldn't even meantion the word barfine. You would whisper it in the girls ear. You would have to pay the bargirl, sometimes outside of the bar. Then you would go outside and wait for her. Sometimes she wouldn't even walk with you but follow you 10 steps behind. I am sure the raid at Gold Bar has changed some policies.

It might be going through the Mama or Papa San, it is probably not going directly through the girl. At Lolipop for instance, the girl gets 1850 pesos from the 4000 peso barfine, but she doesn't get it right away, it comes totaled on her weekly paystub that is emailed to her (I saw a stub).

4500 is high. I had Bars say I was with a "special" girl who was 4500 or 5000 but they all accepted 4000 when I objected. Not that there aren't exceptions but 4000 seems to be very much the standard.

Maybe just the waitress who doesn't want to handle this money? So I handed my girl 4500 and she walked towards the back bar and shortly emerged in street clothes.
