I was shopping in Hypermart store the other day. They have some buy one get one free or buy 2-3 and get one free items. Items like a small rice cooker, hot water pot or 1-2 burner stove top along with others. Prices range from P399 to P499. Being an OCD shopper I picked up some of each. Then I passed them out as gifts to my favorite girls for Christmas.

I was shocked that most did not even have a small rice cooker or hot water pot. None had a stove top burner. The problem with gifting a burner is that they don't have the propane tank which cost 1200,1700 filled with propane.

Has the America Hotel opened it's old wing? Last time I was there, the pool (in the old wing) was open, but the rooms were mostly gutted. Including the haunted room.

I found a bar selling craft beer down past the jeepney stop. Tiny place, but good beer. Anyone been there? I don't remember the name.

The big expansion of Angel Bakery was having some obvious growing pains in August. Did they iron out the wrinkles? It was a clusterfuck last time I was there.

I don't know if America Hotel has opened the new wing or not. Driving by the other night I was shocked to see that all the parking spots were full with cars. I assumed they had a lot of guests. Usually the spots are empty but a few (Chinese's?) tours buses.

I am curious if the Chinese resto there is any good or not?
