    To Royalpardesi2001.

I check yesterday from a travel agent at SM mall cebu pacific flight to Hong kong for Friday is 8000 p one way, flight to macau from clark is cheaper but no seat until Monday at 6500 p, seaair and tiger air already cancel flight to macau so it is better just

Fly out of manila more flight and options.

Thanks for the post but how much is plenty of USD around 500. 1000?

Read a number of posts on various threads about how so many girls have been bumped off flights unless they have letters of authority and plenty of USD in their possession.

You can try it if you don't mind losing the fare if she gets booted off

Getting My Girl Friend Out of Clark Airport

Is there a problem in getting my Girl from Clark to Hong Kong or Should I book a flight from Manila?

Is it really? I've seen the Tune hotels pop up in my hotel searches, but they never come across as particularly budget; rather mid-range. I passed the AC Tune couple weeks ago. It looked pretty deserted, apart from (what looked like) some Malaysians exiting. They looked a bit disorientated. It's understandable, the location is high up on Perimeter, and you need to ride jeep / trike to Fields. IMO the uninviting budget color scheme alone is reason not to stay there. If you need a good cheap "crash pad" there's a SoGo in Dau, and as I understand it another one will open in Angeles (Balibago?) later on.

Thanks for the info. That's what I thought. If they are anything like Air Asia or some of the other "add on everything" discount carriers, I'll want to avoid. Looks like I'll be seeking out an aparta-hotel.

    Tune hotels

I have stayed in Tune hotels a few times.

They are designed mor for the traveller who needs a place to crash for a while, than a short time hotel.

The rooms are very small, bu t they are immaculately clean, and the beds are comfortable. Everything works well.

You pay for the room only. If you want extras, then you pay, such as TV, aircon, internet.

The prices are low, so as a crash pad for a few hours, it is good value.

I could neveer imagine trying to stay there for more than maybe 12 hours.

    .

Sorry, please disregard my last post. It says elsewhere on the Tune site that "In-room safes are provided in all rooms (charges apply for UK hotels)".

Moderator, please feel free to delete both this post and my previous one!

You might want to check the Angeles hotel thread but Tune (owned by Air Asia) is new to AC and is currently having a sale:

Noddy has already given you some info about the regular bus companies. I doubt that they will take you to the airport. The private foreign-friendly services I mentioned do not go to the airport.

I took a bus return from Pasay Bus Station to Olongapo Town centre, I think the service runs every 20min or so. Service name escapes me. Took a trike from Subic, about a 20 min ride, return. Will drop you off at the station in Olongapo. Obviuosly, you will require taxi to airport. Hope this is helpful.

Guys, headed to Philippines on short notice. Want to make a run up from Manila for a few days. Don't have a lot of time for research? Does anyone know any cheap girl friendly hotels in Angeles City that can be booked through sites like Travelocity or Hotels. Com? I've found a lot of cheap places (between 15-30 a night) like Hotel V, Tune Hotels, Hotel California. Any of these ring a bell?

Not looking for luxury. My only requirements are a reliable safe, hot water in the shower, no bed bugs, and air conditioning.

Thanks a ton for any help!
