I was in Thailand for 2 weeks. Then I came back to Angeles for 2 days. Today, I went to Sabang, Puerto Galera (might do a field report later).

Angeles seems the same. I usually stick with my regulars. The problem is when I bar hop really late, most of the bars are full of mostly marginal girls. I am assuming the best girls from those bars are already barfined. XS is the exception since many of the girls have sponsors.

Its fair to say that Christmas, new year and Easter are probably the worst times to visit angeles city bars due to the better looking girls (popular) that can afford to do so have left for their family homes and this year is no different it seems.

Most bars are very short on girl numbers, very short on western tourist numbers even the hundreds of koreans that normally can be seen on the streets and bars of angeles were in very small numbers this past few days.

Last nights bar hop was pretty much forced apon me by a good buddy that was visiting from davao city, as this was his last night in town and I had not got to see him yet I headed out on the town, only 4 or 5 bars in total as I had other plans for later.

In summing up, its deadly quiet here especially for western tourists, yes its Christmas but in truth its been very quiet all year with many friends preferring to visit other asian destination during 2023,a recent visit to thailand showed a massive difference in punter numbers visiting.

The town with passing time sees more angeles bars being taken over by the koreans, more korean restaurants opening, more and more koreans choosing to visit, outnumbering the western visitors by multiple times, angeles better looking girls only have eyes for koreans, many girls refusing to give mr westerner any attention at all, the most truth one can say about angeles city is that is this is now a mainly korean owned and visited town, the only girls that give any attention to westerners are the older, plumper plain girls, yes many claim they are able to get great looking girls, even stunners to give them attention and even bar fine with westerners but I can only tell one what my experiences are and what my eyes see and that in truth I have not seen a westerner with anything that can be considered young or cute or slim on their arm or sitting with one having drinks in the bars in multiple years in truth, again it is what it is.

Heading to boracay for a few days with the girlfriend to get away from the grime of angeles.
