AC is shit. Some love it. Some hate it.

G and DG make some good points. I still like AC but then again I also like Manila, Cebu, Subic, Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Hanoi, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Have visited all these and more (as I know many of you have). Hell, I lived in AC back in the heydeys of 82 to 84. Now I live outside of Dumaguete so it is easy to go to all of these places. The thing about Angeles it is very easy to get quality pussy and not expensive if you are coming from any Western or predominantly English-speaking country. And Filipina girls are so sweet -- well, the vast majority. I am retired here and it is one of the best decisions I ever made with the shit show going on in the USA and most other places. No place is perfect but for me, PI is about as good as it gets. And AC is a fairly inexpensive Disneyland for Adults. Get a ticket and go on the rides. Life is good!

AC is shit. However, it's also something that should be experienced by every newbie monger to visit the Philippines. Some love it. Some hate it. If you're the later, don't sit and whinge about it, move on: Subic is two hours away; back track to Manila or; Clark has a zillion domestic flight connections.

The odds are stacked on your side. After visiting for nearly 30 years and travelling over much of the Philippines, I've had one encounter where she insisted on me tarping up. One. Yes it was in Angeles but to be fair, she was trying to pisss me off so that I would throw her out early. It worked. I'm assuming those are odds you can live with.

Money is not an issue. Filipinas aren't even my type, but AC just seems to be the BBFS capital of the world. I wish Thailand offered BBFS but I've been told that's rare.

Throwing money around does not guarantee a good time in PI. If anything girls' prices and performance are inversely related. I have to think to recall any high priced girls who were great lays. Yet I have many provincial princesses that will remain burnt into my memory until the day I die.

In summary (sorry about the long post): in town for a few days, not super fussy and want point and shoot, then go to AC and have a blast; have some extra time, looking for better quality and looking girls and prepared to put in some ground work, then bypass AC and go to Cebu.

The change is in the budget. AC, years ago, a budget of 100. -$ a day all inclusive was good for excellent fun. Nowadays be ready to spend 300. -$ or more a day. (I talk about 1 week tourists!

I tend to keep the two separate (now). When I need a rest night (no nawty) during my stay (then, pre-covid), I might go out perving alone as you suggest (or with a mate). But not barfining. When out trying to do both, 3 drinks in and I start conflating the two. Four drinks into my night at bar #3, intending to barfine, having fun with a cutie that is agreeable to a barfine, and its too late for me. I confess that my constitution has changed (a decade ago) and is such that there will be no junior-joy this evening. My age shows itself. Its been a wonderful evening, and the perving can continue. But not with a barfine. A drink in bar #1 looking over the talent. Two drinks in bar #2 (one each with different cuties), and then one drink with a cutie in bar #3, and its over. Its been good fun. Can continue at bar #4 with a bottle of water maybe, more perving. Alcohol, and bar-carousing have become, for me, the antithesis of barfining. Quite possible we will skip the evening joy and have it in the morning, depending my mood / energy. When barfining it would be (for me) a dereliction of duty to not hammer the girl shortly after the barfine, even on a LT where she is available in the morning.

There is HUGE variety in Thailand. There are SO MANY bars in Thailand. SNIP In Angeles City I still hear people posting about the same 3 or 4 bars over and over again. Sorry. Call me old. But I won't be back anytime soon since the Heyday is over. Again, just my opinion and I am not trying to say I am right. It's just that it's easier and cheaper to find what I want elsewhere.

We are of the same mold. When I go out looking to barfine, I don't go bar-hopping with the intent of socializing and having fun in the bars. I almost never barfine if I am out with a mate (on purpose). When out with mates, its social, and an evening of chat and fun. My buddy is probably looking for a girl. However when I am looking for a girl, I usually go alone, and the first girl that lights my fancy and agrees to my things is walking out the door with me to receive my vaccine in the next 30 minutes. The bar-hopping is done for the night. Its quite possible for me to walk into a bar, have the mama or waitress help me choose a girl, chat the girl for a moment, pay the barfine, and have been in the bar 10 minutes (or less). I like the fun girls, the ones that like to joke and party. These girls are not going with Korean guys and they don't start their shift until 6 or 7 pm. Definately not as many to choose from than years ago but still not a problem to find one.

In summation, yes if you knew Angeles 10 years ago or more and trying to compare then you feel sour. But Angeles is still far better than anything you will find back in the states and I think still worth it for sure! Oh and I was never once asked short time or long time but any of the 11 girls I had last week. All were long time like usual. Maybe that's just a daytime girl thing? (Ie- Korean loving girl thing).

I have been to AC 3 times this year. Total of 25 days. About 7-8 days a tour. Primary have been to Qbar and Lollipop bars. Both bars have 2 tier bar fines. How do I know? Because I have paid 3500 and 4000 at each bar. I have barfined 3 from Qbar and 5 from Lollipop. On NYE I BF a 3500 one from lollipop. That girl is still working there and at a 3500 BF. 3500 girls wear a red bikini. There is one other 3500 color bikini. Go and verify it if you like.

I have had at least another 10 girls from my Friends and Family program. Some I paid 2500 to 3500 each. One special 19 year old got 4 k plus. Maybe I'm speaking out of my ass as a Philippines newb but I don't get why so many people say to avoid AC it's been ruined. I was there for a week for my first trip and yeah there's a huge Korean presence there but there were also still plenty of birds in the sea. Prices were great for me too. Much better value than makati. Why don't more people complain about makati being ruined instead? It's always AC.

IMO Angeles City has been ruined. Since about 2011. I see no reason to return as the pictures and stories from another board with Philippines in their name have more activity on "other places" like Thailand or Indonesia. Now I am happy you still dig the place! Really I am! I would guess there is still some magic out there but. I'll answer specifically Why I as an example feel the place Sucks now.

1) The hotels are obnoxiously expensive compared to Pattaya.

2) The ladies have gained weight and are older and more used up than say in 2004. (See pictures of AC Bargirls pre 2009).

3) Raids and other legal gray area matters have plagued Angeles City for about 15 years or so.

4) Being a 2 week millionaire from USA means nothing to the ladies now. They are not as excited to see American $ versus other nationalities money.
(5) The ladies have many more work options like Call Centers or other Business outsourcing they can do and hey - good for them, I am not hating.

Overall around 2002-2005 it was BBFS CIP heaven over there. And a lot of this creampieing was with BEAUTIFUL ladies who were slim and sexy.

Today. With the magic of Google Translate. I can simply head to Thailand and ask the ladies if they want my load. Philippines ladies speak English is no longer very important.
