Good idea in view of what happened to CR. Then I can post it so it helps everyone here anyway. Another good idea would be to start another sub forum called angeles scams so that these posts will not get buried over time, and make sure that all of the scam players or as many as possible are immortalized, pictorially.

No, I doint think a sub forum is needed since this blows it out of all proportion to the reality. There are scammers & grifters everywhere you go. I think with the use of common sense and a little research the vast majority of visitors experience little to no trouble in AC compared to anywhere else.

Some girls borrow their look alike cousins I'd because they themselves aren't old enough. Just to clear the air a little, I met Deena and another pinay who was not as lovely, so to speak, outside of Margaurita's during my last trip. Deena was the name that the hot little spinner gave me, so maybe they change names occasionally, who knows.

All the bars at least check to make sure they are 18, so don't go outside the bar to find pussy. Most of us would not know if a filipina was below 18 or above unless your from there. I'm from states and half look younger than 18, be safe and not slow.

I can't comment about other poker clubs in AC, but Wild Aces is a nice little club. I used to hang out / eat frequently at the adjacent club / resto (was called Cuba Cuba at the time). Crowd of course varies, but always seems to have good mix of players, leaned towards Asians, but I never noticed any discrimination against any one. It's quite safe, or as safe as any place can be in a 3rd world country, LOL.

I don't play at all, but a really old friend does and whenever in AC with his wife (who used to work there. Now live outside the country) HE play for a few hour each day. HE is a happy camper, says it is safe and sometime western professionals return up also just for a 'fun' game (if there ever was such in poker.

Some bets are very small he said but he like the fact a few games can be run and he enjoys himself.

Treasure Island on Santos Street just closed (owner decision).

Yes, since TI moved from Fields to out of the way Santos, it had lost money since then. Can't stay open forever if you are not making money and also having to pay all those extortions didn't help either.

Barfines are still allowed. AC is business as usual. They always change the name barfine, EWR, and Party Animal. The name changes but the name remains the same.

There are many way the bar get around this they say no barfined but if you buy a bottle of wine cost 1500 p you can take the girl out, I hope they change to a different system like in Bangkok you pay the bar a small barfined and pay the girl directly in the morning but the damn bar owner want to make most of the money and paid the girl only small amount and that is why you get so many runner now days.

Only the first 2 Raymond st bars are open. The girls are not looking that great either. It's now take out only.

Treasure Island before on fields and after move to Raymond street was always a great time. Sorry to see this one close. Had great time good management and fun girls.
