Korean bars aren't reserving the best girls for Korean customers because western customers are difficult to scam, they're doing it because they absolutely detest the idea of sharing girls with us barbarian westerners. While I haven't lived in Korea I have been there dozens of times starting in 2004. You are mostly correct about mongering in Korea. Its gotten more difficult. Years ago I have fucked everything from a window girl in Miari to high end KTV girls. But now unless you go with local business contacts as a foreigner you are shut out. Its much like Japan has always been. But I don't think the same logic is applying to Korean bars in AC. I have barfined from several smaller Korean owned bars with no issues. Maybe a few are trying to exclude but not all. The problem in AC has become high prices, boring bars and girls suddenly being selective. I don't want to go to a shit hole hooker town to be turned down by some princess after agreeing to pay an exorbitant bar fine.

Current misunderstanding of the Korean situation in AC.

Koreans have always been apart of Angeles aka "Korean Town", their presence is not a new phenomenon as much as people would like to believe. Its just as of late they have been making a play for the beaten down walking street and western centric bar areas. If they wanted these bars to be korean only they would have stayed in Korea town where the rent is cheaper. They understand that the higher rent areas require foreign customers that are not korean. Many of these korean bar owners have already gone bust not the first, not the last.

These korean centric bars take advantage of korean hierarchy they are both shamed / forced into a business relationship that is centered around respect. Watch them interact with Koreans and what they force them to buy. Would not go over well with western cilentille. This is most common with koreans associated with the Korea mafias. While you may think you are getting offered scraps or 2nd hand ladies you are wrong here in this instance. The ladies they set aside are for essentially for the purpose of scams they run on fellow korean nationals.

If you look back on koreans who have posted questions here AC in Korea has a bad reputation that we do not know of because we are not targets of such criminal activity. There are a number of scams they run on korean nationals such as sextortion and false accusations that are followed up by extortion. As a westerner we are immune to these scams mostly because we would call their bluff while this might work once or twice westerners would not stay silent about it as the korean nationals do. They for the most part blame themselves for involving themselves in the situation in the first place. Westerners like to be left a lone for the most part and are often times lone wolves unlike koreans that like to be buttered up.

So that being said. You are not welcome into some korean establishments because you are not a soft target. You are not easy to take advantage of and you should be grateful that you are not a target of their more illicit activities that yes ONLY koreans fall victim to.

I was telling people about the vans before they started showing up outside envy, because that's the exact same system they use in Korea. Their use of multiple levels of middlemen is one of the reasons their prices end up being so high. Yes, more and more Koreans are starting to complain that AC is now shit and no longer value for money. They're yet to realise why. The problem is they're now fanning out to Pattaya and guess what, doing the exact same thing over there, bringing over the exact same business model they're running away from.

Heck, I could tell you about how corporate money was used to buy up so many bars on walking street in AC (yes, this involves the companies that operated in subic at the time when k-shipbuilding was booming), but that's another story people aren't prepared to hear.

What apps are you referring to? I will say it's crazy to see the same fucking male koreans over and over again recommended to me as suggested friends after I added a couple girls that I enjoyed this trip on my secondary FB. Curious what else the koreans are using that is "exclusive" to them given not a damn chance in hell any of these working girls speak let alone type korean on their phones.

Korean versions of ISG. Basically forums on places like Naver, Daum, Tistory etc. Off forum communications are done on kakaotalk, which also doubles up as a payment platform. You won't have much luck joining without the necessary language skills. Most if not all payments related to reservations are done through Korean banking apps. It's essentially a closed off system unless you're Korean or you're a non-Korean who's embedded in Korea and know how the culture works.

And yes, I did not see any LB hanging around like the old days, nor many SW either. Personally I like them cleanup on that side of things.

Reality check. 64 bars x 30 girls (include waitresses) = 1920 girls. Now subtract 70% that most guys are not interested in (fat, old, ugly) leaves them with 574 available girls. I am more picky and would pass on 80% so only 384. Then subtract ones visiting the province, long time bar fine, menstruation, drink only girls, have princess attitudes, and ones that do not like certain nationalities, races, or ages. So my 384 is half that at 192. Which still sounds great. Now I just have to go find them.

Saw some white guy last night bar fine 13 or so girls. So stupid. Nobody is impressed. What would you think if you walked into a restaurant and some guy is sitting at a large table with 13 lobster dinners. He can only eat 2 meals and the rest is wasted. Same for the girls. Most he can really enjoy is 2.

CORRECTION: I was told by hair care / nail shop lady next to hygiene that hygiene was only 3 days a week now. Now she says 4 days a week. For guys who are happy to barfine from Korean bars, be aware you're barfining their leftovers. Now many of those leftovers are still attractive girls, but the most desirable girls on roster have already been pre-booked on k-social media apps we aren't privy to and wouldn't even be given access to if we asked, they're for k-clientele only.

If you read the post of others here, many have said that they have gone to Korean bars and had no issues with bar fining the girls. If they are enforcing a Korean customer only mandate, they are doing a very poor job. It is up to the girl whether they want to go.

Just want to clarify while I am American born Asian, I'm not korean and speak no korean. I had no issues at korean or american own bars my entire trip. Ultimately up to the individual girl to decide who she goes with, regardless of bar was my experience.

I talked to quite a few working girls in my 4 days there last month. Most told me it's not the koreans, its that they spend the cash, they dine the girls and treat them well (heck next time you see a good looking one, look at her phone she's using, as well as any jewelry and nicer tattoos, I'd argue all were paid or gifted by the koreans on top of barfine).

I am in the same. Visiting the PI for the first time in 7 years+ AC was already in the decline with Korean invasion. By no means do I have an issue with any culture- I am a world traveler and appreciate diversity but here's the problem. When the Korean ownership group came in and bought up all the clubs and then advise the ladies to only date Korean / Asian. That is not cool. There is no other culture that does this? Travel to the DR. The locals don't say you can't date gringos or asians. Travel Euro zones and it is an Equal opportunity environment. It's up to the lady. If she likes black dudes, she has the right to sleep with Black, white, mexican etc. Travel to Latino countries. Nobody sets up shop and demands the workers only F white dudes.

I have my theories why Asian management creates exclusive asian only clubs. I think we all know why. At the same time. It creates animosity I have towards these types of passport buddies and their ownership group. So yes the Korean invasion is a problem if you are not asian.

White men are just upset that years of being worshipped just for the accident of their skin color is coming to an end in many parts of Asia. Asians (and of course blacks and browns) have been treated like crap in white countries for hundreds of years. A little payback doesn't seem out of line now does it? I hear Africa still worships the Mzungu so maybe that's the next place to go if you are the above mentioned type of punter??

Prices are indeed through the roof. I can't believe I paid a 5,000 PHP barfine. But the girl was super hot, slim, no baby, flat belly, 23, and provided excellent service that night, and the next morning. These are Pattaya prices, but unlike Pattaya, BBFS is pretty much guaranteed. That's what we're paying for here. That said, I take PREP daily, and 200 MG of doxycycline ("doxy PEP") the next day because this place is a chlamydia and gonorrhea breeding ground.

Its been a few years since I barfined top tier gogo girls from Pattaya but I know for a fact is was double the 5000 peso rate here in Angeles. If I remember correctly it was at Farenheight and the girl / barfine total was close to 6000 baht. In Angeles many of the gogo girls will go for 3500ST in some of the Korean bars down close to McD's.
