I need some advice / opinion from anyone who can weigh in about a question I have. This is one of those 'I was hoping to visit AC, but should I? '. I'll explain my situation so that people who are out there can help me with my decision.

I don't get a lot of time to travel for mongering (about 10 days an year) so whatever the time that I have is quite precious for me. So far I've done trips to Thailand and KL. This year's plan was to do 5 days in Pattaya and 5 days in AC. I was concerned about the AC situation and have already cut down 2 days from my original plan and reduced the days to 3. But now with the latest news from out there I'm thinking whether I should ever go there.

My expectation was to get a feeling of the AC scene and have some good time with a few cute Filipinas. Given that there's very little to do outside mongering and the situation with the raids I'm feeling that I should not go there at all. I have a budget of about 300-330USD per day and I've read that Manila is somewhat expensive than AC and Pattaya. So I don't know whether my budget would fit that.

So given all that information, can anyone of the experienced members give me an opinion or some kind of input?

Here are the options that I have with me right now:

* Stick to the current plan and visit AC for 3 days.

* Don't go to the Philippines at all and stay in Pats or go to BKK as I don't want to take any risk at all.

* Visit Manila and find an area that would fit my budget.

Any advice is truly appreciated. I know that anyone of you can't give a direct answer so I'm just asking for a second opinion or some knowledge from the field.

Really saddened to hear about all the raids and other garbage going on. I'm beginning to think there will be nothing left or it will be too risky by the time I can actually go. I also think all of these raids really don't help anything and are going to put the girls in even worse positions than before. Can't see these girls having chances at doing non-barfining things with jail sentences to their name.

obama is due end of april and in one of the raids i heard a few girls walked in ordered drinks and cops came in and the visiting girls accused the establishment of having employed them. them **** girls. so in goes the whole crew. and no get out of jail card price being discussed yet, it seems.

they are on to killing the golden egg laying goose that feeds each mayors and local politicians war chest. maybe they made enough war chest they don't need the goose any more and maybe they have found other geese (koreans?)

Looks like the golden egg was broke last night. Sisters bar was raided last night and 7 customers were taken in the raid. As of now, there is no information on their status. I will update as more information is released.

Now if you are enjoying a drink and are then arrested in a civilized country you need reason but this is the Philippines. Am sure this won't be the last maybe some people are short on pocket money.

Looking at Manny's FR history suggests he likes t comment on other FRs give out little information no real FRs or pics (he even asked the same question a few times on multiple boards). I think he is here just to sit up trouble and enjoys the replies he gets while typing one handed dreaming of the place and girls we visit and shag.

FN has a good point also the difference he has been top the Philippines, seen the bars, got the T shirt etc. Many does not want to come which begs the question why comment on a board / country he has no interest in visiting? If he does change his mind and insist on visiting the clean places are why I and other posters suggested in Sulu, Tawi Tawi, Contabato, Jolo etc. Nice islands nice beaches, nice people, untouched by us dirty barebacking Westerners, somewhere where Manny will feel comfortable and welcome by the locals.
