Thoughts on What's been happening in the bars over the last 10 days over 4 separate barhops.

Avalon bar, very nice bar, always made to feel welcome by the Korean manager here,1st drink always on the house, great professional shows put on by the girls, it has great energy as a bar but is Korean orientated, never see many westerners here if at all, worth a few beers just for the shows.

Xs bar, this bar has probably the highest concentration of better looking slim girls of all the walking st bars, from the decor to the service to the shows it just is a class act, again mostly no westerners but many young high spending Asian making the girls feel like princesses, girls can be mighty choosy who they drink with and even more choosy who they will barfine with if at all, being Asian helps greatly with attracting some girl attention.

Qbar, another Asian orientated bar with Korean manager, a couple of nicer looking slim girls here but these girls always busy having drinks with high spending Asians, worth a beer for the nice ambiance.

Lollipop bar, mainly an expat western bar, see the same guy faces every visit, many friends like it because the girls tend to be more fun and hands on with punters, the problem I have with this bar is girl quality, seen 1 girls here several barhops ago that was quite cute, not seen her in the bar since and nothing else I would even buy a lady drink for.

Monsoon bar, geckos bar, paro paro bar, vikings bar, champagne bar, walked in walked out on several occasions, very small numbers of girls that in all honesty looked like they were past their sell by date a decade ago, catch 22 in these bars, low number of punters if any at all = management not having the funds to hire the type of girls that will attract customers to spend some time.

In summing up, many of the western owned bars were very very quiet, its amazing how some of these bars keep their doors open, in honesty no loss if they were to close.

The Asian oriented bars are doing much better, most nights they have high spending Koreans in, the girls tend to be much slimmer, cuter and younger than the western bars, great if one is an Asian because one will receive plenty of attention from the girls, westerners no so much so.

In all the top bars there are a section of girls that are drinks only girls, there are cute, younger girls that are cherrie girls (virgins) there are girls that will only sit with certain nationalities, only barfine with certain nationalities, it is what it is unfortunately.

I've stayed at Plaza Suites twice, when I showed up unexpectedly at ABC and it was full, so I had to stay for a night at Plaza. Grabbed a drink at Envoy and chatted up a Euro-pensioner at the outer rail seats for a while. Then it was time to club-hop:
