Where are these reports on "nasty STD's" and "drug resistant gonorrhea" in AC?

I had once an "almost" drug resistant gonorrhea, already back in 2008 or 2009 or so, maybe these days it's even worse. This thing was entirely resistant against antibiotics of first and second generation, the only cure was 3rd generation antibiotics called ceftriaxone given by intramuscular shot. One full gram. Angeles has a very bad reputation for some nasty STD's, no reports on HIV outbreaks YET, but lots of reports of drug resistant gonorrhea cases popping up. My opinion is that the cases of HIV are being under reported.

Where are these reports on "nasty STD's" and "drug resistant gonorrhea" in AC? I don't recall any mention of them in the PI Safe Sex thread or from reading some 90 pages with hundreds of posts in this one from the year 2012. HIV, BTW, is by far my greatest concern. Ok, I have some vacation time coming up, and have long been curious about visiting the Phillipines. I have been to the spectacle that is Pattaya, and it seems that Angeles may be a similar paradise. However, I have been reading through previous postings going back pretty far, and I am starting to get a little spooked about the prevalence of STD's and barebacking. The PI is the only country with its own section called 'Safe sex in the Phillipines, ' and its pretty active.

Is there any reason to be more concerned about STIs & BBing in AC than Pattaya where you've already been?

Photos are always deceptive. Some girls are naturally photogenic but quite "plain" in person.

Natty Bumpo is right on the money. I have been to both cities many times in the last 10 years. Each has its good points which have been mentioned. To me the three biggest differences for mongers are:

1. GFE factor: The Pinay doesn't count how many shots you did. She is just as anxious to have orgasms as you do. Short time does not mean exactly one or two hours. Low end to low end comparisons; AC is cheaper. Santos and Raymond bar girls vs. Nana parking lot

The Nana Parking Lot (NPL) in Bangkok is one of the streetwalker (SW) hangouts in the area of NEP and lower sukhumvit. These girls usually go for 1000 baht (1300 pesos) ST and it has been that way since 2007 when I first came to the City of Angels (Krung Thep). But this isn't the low end for SWs in BKK, as prices as economical as 300 baht ST have been reported for Chinatown & less than the NPL cost elsewhere with allegedly better looking girls who normally cater to Thai men.

OTOH recent claims re AC SWs say that a lady can be taken ST for as little as 300 or 500 Pesos, which would be about the same as quoted rock bottom BKK rates. Others guys in AC, however, feel quite comfortable bedding them.

As regards Santos & Raymond St bar girls, they are located in what is called the "blow row" (BR) area of AC. They are not SWs and their services sound more comparable to the BJ bars in BKK than the BKK NPL SWs. I could not agree more with everything written here. Filipinas win every time when it comes to the WHOLE experience. Thai / Chinese are too mechanical these days. I usually spend 3 days in BKK and do numbers and short times only then my holiday starts once I arrive in phils. But, I think you are making a big mistake however in writing off AC and the PI. 1st a better comparison to make is between AC and Pattaya and then Manila and BKK.
