After School is a great bar and LIA is also good. I was in both last Sunday partying with the owners (moving back and forth between bars) and we had a freaking great time. Sometimes the bar are slow, but wait 30 minutes and the scene will change.

Never been in any of the perimeter bars before but walked into Candy Bar yest about 1 pm and of the 4-5 girls there instantly focused on one with 7-ish face (acceptable) but full D's. Very nice. Hostess or mamasan or whatever (mamasan not there by then I think) said 1050 php for long term, until next am.

No quiibble from me. Very friendly girl and great service. Will post pics on my evo next week when I return home.

If in AC before going to subic take few phone numbers from some of your favs with you. If you can't find anything you like in subic just dial in a girl and tell her you will pay for her travel expanses. 1 hour latter you have your fav AC girl if you are not happy with the local talent.

My M. O. Is never take any gals from AC to anywhere else in PI where a steady P4P scene exist. Only time I would consider taking an AC gal or even a Manila gal anywhere with me is if the place I'm headed have too much trouble or expense finding a gal to bang (ex: such as Boracay).

I try to do things that makes the most sense to me so on the same thought I would never take a manila gal to AC or an AC gal to Manila. Same applies to me for Subic.

When a P4P scene already exist, then sometimes when you least expect it, a hottie might show up and you end up cursing yourself for being already "attached".

I tend to agree. I always like having the flexibility to get up and do what I want when I want. Unless the gal in AC is a very special winner, I think I will go to Subic / Olongapo solo. Cheers.

Actually, my question was about mongering, although I hate that word. It makes me think of fish monger.

So, when you go to Subic. Do you take a gal with you or do you find a gal in Subic, or maybe you have a regular.

If none of the above, what do you recommend?

My first trip this milennium I traveled in private car with a a businesswoman I met in mnl. Second trip I found a gal at one of the bars in Olongapo, but wasn't especially thrilled with the choices. Third time I took a gal from AC and had a lovely time. Actually, I had a lovely time every time, but the last time was especially lovely. X.

If you are headed to Subic, my opinion is to go alone and pick up from there. Qualitity and quantity is much smaller in Subic but I look at it another way. Also fewer "mongers" there so ratio will be better and also most of the better lookers are not BF too early there. Place is more relaxed, so the overall feel is a smaller version of Perimeter but with a beach instead of just a dusty or muddy road.

When should we be going where?

I have read that Perimeter and Santos are places you go during the day and Fields is where you go at night and you head to Skytraxx after Fields shuts down.

We have generally started pub crawling at 6 on Fields. With some Perimeter bars near ABC before that.

What have others been doing to have a good time and still being able to land a hottie before the other mongers get their grubby hands all over her?

First, Santos is not on Perimeter. It's just off Fields avenue, near Tequila Reef, Wild Orchid, Central Park hotel.

Perimeter bars: General hours 1-2 PM till 8 PM. I know, most stay open later than that, but late at night there is no point going. Hint: go early, the best girls don't get picked last.

Santos: any time of the day really. Even really late at night, as in 3 AM in the morning, there are still some girls on duty.

SkyTraxx: around 10. 10:30 PM.

Fields: most bars don't open till 6 PM. Some do but with a reduced lineup.

I will be in town with some friends from China.

This will be my 2nd trip to AC in as many months. Did alot of Fields the first time, want to see what else is around. Was not a big fan of the "Super Clubs" with the big stage performances.

I enjoyed Club Asia, Genesis, Blue Nile (the one with the elevator for the 2nd floor, only because the Mommys were very helpful there). Tropix was a good source for 3 girls our group kept for several days.

Any other advice on which bars are worth the time to visit on Perimeter or Santos area?

If you are overseas, and your credit card stops working, just call them. I actually got into this situation. One th card just stopped working. Second time, my wallet was stolen from the nightstand, while I was sleeping (had one too many sake's at dinner) , in a 5 star hotel.

Luckily, I used skype on my laptop to call the card companies and make the necessary arrangement.

I first started using this calling family etc. Now I have all my important numbers like credit cards, my United premier desk, hotel numbers, DIA member numbers. I'd recommend this to you guys as it works pretty well and it is cheap. Best part, nobody knows where you are calling from!

To go you gents one better on calling your bank before you travel. Lets assume that this is April (it is) , and I'm planning to travel to filipines in June. I have scouted airline tix for June and am ready to buy. Am planning on June 1 to June 18 visit. I'll fly from Manila to Cebu on Cebu-Pacific during my stay, round-trip. Seems like a typical trip for many gents. Before you buy your ticket across the pond on, say, Cathay-Pacific, or the Cebu-Pacific flight, call your bank today (April 7) , and tell them you will be in filipines from April 8 to June 19. Not June 1 to June 18. They will unblock your overseas travel for the entire period. That way your Cathay-Pacific and Cebu-Pac flights should go sailing thru starting tomorrow when you start booking. Hotel reservations the same. Why the extra day (June 19)? What happens if your outbound flight back to your home country is delayed (weather, mechanical problem, etc) and you are stuck in Manila or Cebu overnight? You want your credit card to keep working, yes? You will need to book a hotel and buy food at a restraunt? Also give the bank the name of any country you are connecting thru (Taiwan, korea, HK) as part of your SE asian itinerary. You want the credit card to work in the taipei airport, yes? I'm sure there might be problems with this someday, but I haven't run into any yet.

FYI, for US residents with good credit history, Chase is offering a Priority Club (Holiday Inn / Intercontinenta / Crowne Plaza) Credit Card with great sign-up bonuses (60, 000 Points) free the first year and no foreign transaction fees.

Just look for the CC logo on the hotel webpage and click to sign up.

I signed up last year when they were only offering 30,000 points.

They call it "fraud protection". When you get down to Manila, you will not be able to use your Chase credit cards. Call in advance tell them to remove the block before you leave stateside. They will ask for the dates you are traveling, and they will unblock it for those days.

Also, be aware that for every charge on your Chase card, there is a fee for overseas transaction. I have Chase and Capiltol One. Capitol One does not charge a fee for overseas use, so I use my Capitol One Card when traveling abroad. I am not trying to sell you guys Capitol One. It is just that, it is the only one that does not charge an overseas "interchange" fee.

The fees are about 2 to 3% of cost of transaction. Which if you are spending a lot, adds up at the end.
