Met some german guys last week over there. They really liked it, ask them the other day, so guys, how was it?? Had fun? One of them told me, yeah , but they wanted allways 1300p or 1400p barfine to come with me, so I bargained with the mama san..hahaha..can you believe that?
Its true, I told them its on every bar like this and in bars on upper field or perimeter its a bit cheaper, even though the gurls dont have much teeth, but hey, lets not be so picky, right?
Those guys came from cambodia, where they spend around 10 US for a gurl. So they just thought, lets bargain a bit, we are not newbies to the p4p scene. hahahaha...Im still laughing when thinkin about that. Anyway, those guys had fun, they went to pattaya before and told me that they found that AC had a lot of more younger and more prettier women avaible here and the bestthing is, they speak english.

After reading his posts suggesting Stampede is the only honest bar in town, I tried to find Stampede just to check it out (without success). It certainly is not a household name among the ac hounds. Any other established poster shave opinions on Stampede?

Stampede is along Perimeter (near the Brass Knob) and therefore is cheaper than Fields but I don't think they open as late (at least into the A.M) as bars in Fields.

I normally pop my head in if I'm walking along Perimeter from my hotel to Fields. On my last trip there were a couple of nice girls I would have considered BF.

i’m wrapping up my last full day in angeles, so i thought i’d gather my thoughts while they’re still fresh. for background, this is my first time in the philippines but i’ve been to thailand several times. i apologize for the length of this report. i’m trying to include lots of details for first timers such as myself, so any feedback from the more senior posters is always appreciated.

i flew in last week from the us and arrived in manila around midnight. after clearing customs i headed to a money changer and changed $100 so that i would have something to start out with. i previously asked in the general reports section about currency. after the excellent feedback there, what i did was bring 60% cash and several credit cards. i was over budgeting since it was my first time, so even if i had issues withdrawing money using the credit cards i could still have a good time. i had previously made hotel reservations with pacific breeze, and arranged taxi service for myself and a friend who was also going to angeles for the first time. we followed the instructions pacific breeze provided on how to find our driver and were on our way.

from the airport to angeles was about two hours, most of that time spent getting out of metro manila. once we arrived at the hotel i tipped the driver 200 pesos and had the taxi charge put on my hotel bill. i picked the grand jacuzzi, and it was a nice room. for those that have been to pattaya, i think you get better accommodations at dynasty inn for a much cheaper price but my needs were met so i was satisfied with the room. since my friend and i were still awake we decided to see what was available in the early hours of the morning.

we headed to fields and went to dollhouse. it seemed weird to go into a bar at 3am and for everyone to say good morning to you. we were seated against the wall and ordered our beers, 85 pesos if i remember correctly for san miguel lite. dollhouse has a large, roomy feel to it that i can’t think of any equivalent go-go bar in thailand. they have an upstairs area that overlooks the somewhat small stage that all the dancers cram onto and has pool tables. after we sipped our drinks for a bit several dancers migrated over to our table. i asked the waitress how much lady drinks were and it was 150 pesos each, although on later excursions to this and other bars we stopped asking and it was usually 250 pesos. some of the girls sitting next to us were attractive enough and i wanted to get into the swing of things, so i began negotiations.

as mentioned previously on this board, it is very helpful to ask the girls upfront whether they will meet your needs. the first girl i talked to turned out to be a cherry girl. another girl beside her pointed to yet another girl and suggested her. i asked her if she did blowjobs and she said if i wanted she’d even lick my ass, so that worked for me. barfine was 1350 pesos. i apologize for omitting names and bedroom details but i’m just not good with those. my friend found someone to his liking and we headed back to pacific breeze. his girl stayed until 10am, mine would’ve stayed longer but i wanted to do other things so i gave her 500 pesos and sent her on her way. 500 pesos was what i tipped all the girls i barfined if they made me happy, and for this trip i got lazy and tended to repeat with the several girls that worked for me.

here the story will get less linear. day activities: over the week’s stay my friend and i headed to sm clark mall several times. first we tried to walk there, but went straight instead of left at a major intersection and after a long walk admitted we were lost and took a trike. trikes were not bad, at least compared to tuk-tuk drivers in thailand who i despise with a passion. we confirmed the price before getting in, to and from the mall was 70 pesos. i used several of the atms there to withdraw a cash advance against my capital one card. it was $10 finance charge each time, no currency conversion fee as capital one eats that, and around 48 pesos to the dollar. i took out 4000 pesos each time, so i don’t know what the limit was. i alternated withdrawing money and changing dollars at the hotel front desk, which was 2 pesos worse than the regular exchange rate. other than wander the mall we usually hung out in our rooms or down at the hotel restaurant. i am an internet junkie so i rented a laptop from the hotel for 250 pesos a day. we sleep a lot during the day and afternoon as our sleep tended to be broken up into 4 hour chunks. part of the problem was our night activities.

night activities: we spent the entirety of the trip trolling the fields bars. i did a solo sojourn to perimeter which i get to in a bit. i have to admit, the layout of the bars is very convenient. in a 5-10 minute walk you can cover all the fields bars. we tended to end up at dollhouse and atlantis. some of the smaller bars we visited like i believe typhoon were too cramped for our tastes, where your choices were either sitting right in front of a wall of women or five feet back. my friend liked atlantis’s second floor couches as those gave us some breathing space. it was interesting that for the most part the atlantis girls did not seem to wander about and consort with the customers unless you asked the waitress or mamasan to get them. most of the girls stayed on the second floor stage balcony. we didn’t barfine anyone at atlantis, although my friend had several girls come over and bought them drinks. he hasn’t mongered in a long time and it was a cheaper thrill than buying women drinks in american bars.

other bars worth mentioning: we actually like agasya because they had nice couches were you could sit down and relax and not be bothered. after having a drink at dollhouse or angelwitch or tropix and having women pester you for lady drinks, it was nice to have a spot to sit, have a drink and only stare at some women. my friend tried to barfine a girl from agasya but she claimed she was on her period. didn’t feel any bad vibes for not being korean.

miscellaneous notes: the street people were for the most part easy to ignore, although some of the child beggars were persistent and i had three men in the space of 10 feet try to sell me cialis. if i turned down the guy right in front of you, why would i now buy from you? we stuck with hotel food for most of the stay. it was edible and convenient.

for our last full day my friend decided to take the day tour to mount pinatubo. i am very lazy when it comes to hiking so i declined. instead i decided to check out the perimeter bars. the popular online map confused me, because i thought the distances for the perimeter maps were roughly in line with the fields maps and that a short walk would cover it. the perimeter bars are very much spread out, more like walking street in pattaya except with more non-bar locations. it was along perimeter road that i got scammed.

you can’t always go through life without a few pitfalls, and this was my time. a old filipino man with a gap in his upper front teeth pulled up in a trike as i was walking along perimeter and claimed he was from my hotel. i asked him which hotel and he ignored it and continued on. i made the mistaking of not breaking off there but i thought if there was scam i could see it coming and break of then. such was my arrogance. he spoke of general matters and wanted to show me a new bar had just been opened. since i wanted to walk down perimeter i didn’t see any harm. further down in a driveway another trike pulls up with another filipino claiming to be owner of said bar. after general banter, including talk of trying to get me to import goods into the country so he could sell them, i let my guard down and i had my wallet in my hand. the owner was quick, he grabbed it and had the money out. i immediately thought full robbery with three filipinos (including the trike driver) to myself. said owner claimed he only wanted to inspect the wallet after much harrumphing gave the money back. after a minute more of conversation i walked away, said owner still claiming later he’d give me free drink coupons for his bar when i headed back his way. some distance away it occurred to me that maybe he didn’t give back all the money. sure enough, the few thousand pesos i had were still there, but the hundred dollar bill i planned to change later was gone. well, it was an expensive learning lesson. since i thought was going to be a full robbery it didn’t sting quite so much, although i was annoyed that i let my guard down like that. i post this here so that other first timers learn from my experience, and avoid these people. even so, i would not count this as a strike against angeles per se, sucker scams happen everywhere.

aside from being scammed, two things i want to mention about perimeter are matrix brawn bar and imma massage. before the scam i went to matrix brawn to get a blowjob. i picked two of the three women that were there (it was very early in the afternoon) and headed into the back room. there are no curtains between the couches like [CodeWord900] in thailand, but this time i was the only one there. it was 500 pesos each for the ladies, 55 pesos for the san miguel lite. the ladies looked decent and did the job but after a bit started asking when i’d come, which a little annoying. after the scam i went to imma massage, where i had wanted to get a regular, normal massage. that was 500 pesos and was passable, although not quite thailand. maybe there was more on the menu? i wasn’t interested having already got serviced at matrix and the massage lady didn’t offer.

this report wandered quite a bit, so if anyone has questions please ask and i will try to fill in the blanks. the information from previous posters was invaluable to me, and i do want to give back to the community. my friend and i have a couple days now to spend in manila, so i will post that information in that section.

After that I went to the mall to get my phone set up so I could use it in PI. (I got Global) I talked to some local girls at the mall and I got 2 phone numbers.

That night, I sent a text to one of the girls that I got the phone # of earlier. She said she wanted to go get dinner. I told her to come to my hotel. That was the end of that. I was in PI for about 4 weeks in Dec. I went to Ilocos norte, Cebu, Manila, Angeles City, and Quezon City. My favorite place. Angeles City

I don't drink so what I did was go into the bar, walk around checking out all the ladies up close and then leaving. Is that ok? I heard that I have to sit down, buy a drink, and THEN check out the ladies before leaving. I was like hell no!

The BF prices you mentioned are correct, just don't tip them too big, after the deed, but sounds like you didn't, that's ok too.

Walking into the bar for a quick recon then leaving. I do that all the time.

Normally, the girls are trying to pull you in, I sort of succumb but I tell them I just want to look and they always agree. The good ones will thank you for looking, some will just let you leave without saying anything and others may try to pull you back, but its just their job to try to make you stay. 5 mins after you are gone, you will be forgotten, because they are trying to convince the next punter to stay (who also walk in then walk out).

Some will bar hop, but I'm over excessive beer drinking.
