Just one small quibble. I never give the begging kids money, but some food or even a bottle of water seems very much appreciated. And if any members want to go beyond that, look up Harry the Horse /Blue Boar Inn. He does some charity work with the local orphanage.

Hi Xman,
I agree with you about the begging kids. I play tennis just next to the bridge that leads to Angeles City on McArthur Hwy. A lot of homeless families live under that bridge, including kids who do their begging on the highway.
Once I was playing tennis there and maybe 20 or so of the kids were playing a little way off. They looked like nice, normal kids to me, so I gave one of the ball boys some cash to go to Robinsons to buy ice creams for all the kids.
You should have seen the big smiles on their faces when they got the ice creams. The coach said he heard that was the first time for many of them ever to experience ice cream.
For a few pesos, it was a real pleasure to see their faces light up and their big smiles. If not for their bad clothes and bad teeth, they could have been kids anywhere in the world.
Over my holiday I also bought stuff like rice to give them as well.
I agree it's very hard to pick the gang kids from the real homeless kids. I've heard that quite a few of the kids around Fields have an adult "minder" who gets all the money.
And, even worse, some of the young boys in fields look crazy. Guess they've been sniffing glue etc.
But if you do come across the genuine poor and can do a little to help, then it is a good thing to do.
And thanks X Man for also pointing out the charity. It would be good to bring a few little things to the charity to help out.
Cheers

If you are strictly taking from the bars, then don't worry about it as they don't work inside the regular gogo bars in Angeles, like they do in Bangkok. I don't recommend you take anything from the street in Angeles, when you have the somewhat safety of taking from the bars. I'm not sure about the short time bars on Santos though. Never have taken from them but I see the baklas in that one section walking towards Pacific Breeze at that little corner bar if it's still there. There are baklas lurking around that stretch of Fields between like Carousel and SkyTrax it seems but again, why bother with freelancers there.

Posts: 4567Book early my friend. And ask about which building you are in. There is an annex, some rooms with no windows. That could be a plus or a minus. Oh, no elevator in the annex either. Some people find the lack of eyes a plus at the annex. There is a guard only. I'd rather not be in the annex.
PB has been very successful, and they deserve it. But that has meant some weakening of service and I still hate that monster wall around the pool. Some say the chef has been replaced meaning better food, but I didn't notice it last time I was there.
Great location though! X
JR Cab gives provides a well know map URL. Hit the W (west) button once or twice to find the area people call "Perimeter".

Posts: 375Thanks for your replies, looking at this map I may go for the Pacific Breeze as it seems to be more central than Lewis Grand --

Posts: 4567ACFreddie and others have already given good replies to JR Cab, but I have to get my two cents in.
If you want to explore, and don't mind walking a bit, you could argue that Lewis is right in the middle of things.
Disclaimer: AC is sometimes very hot and humid -- it doesn't take much to soak thru a shirt. I tend to "hike" with bandana / hankerchiefs for moisture removal. Now, you'd think this would gross out the girls, but on the contrary, I've had them help out with moisture removal. No, this isn't an elaborate pun -- I'm talking about a gal using table napkins to wipe sweat off of me. I guess they've experienced a few sweaty guys before....
Ladyboys, most are pretty obvious. If you can detect them in Pattaya, you can surely detect them in the Philippines. They tend to be less aggressive in AC (IMHO), but I've read some Net posts about bad experiences / pickpockets. (I don't remember if it was AC). In addition to what AC Freddie says, you will find them on Santos Ave - the side street that will take you to Wild Orchid. I've met one lady who worked on Santos / BlowRow who had been recruited by a "bacla". You have to admit, they have a way with the women.

To the beginning of Fields ave, would be about a 10-15 minute walk or a 5-7 minute jeepney ride or a 4-5 min trike ride.
To Perimeter bars, (some are close by), most will take 3-8 minute jeepney ride or 5 minute trike rides
Answer #2 - There are some, but not nearly as many as BKK. The usual hang out location for them is near the Sub Delicious (restaurant) at the corner and also the Corner near Sky trax disco (along with many Filipino teenager type males that congregate in groups, especially on Thur, Friday and Sat nights)
I live here, so I have not stayed at the lewis grand hotel, but many of my friends have, from the Deluxe rooms and jacuzzi suite and one in the Presidential suite and all of the rooms that I have looked at are some of the best available in AC (along with Pacific breeze and ABC). They have a large size pool and most girls in my experience are always up for some playing in the water.

Posts: 4567Nice to see a good FR by a relatively new ISG member -- and some pretty nice pictures as well. Hmm, I probably would have asked her to find someplace warm and wet for that middle finger. Spunky one, me suspects.
I've never done a long term bar fine JW. Is it the number of days X the nightly bar fine or do you get a substantial discount?
And do you mean to say that LT should be until 4pm? Wow, I always thought the ones who stayed that long had fallen in love with me. Man, my ego just took a big hit. :-)

I was talking to a stunner in Georges club one afternoon and having a great time. I would have bf her but I already had one arranged for that day. I told here I would be back tomorrow around 4pm. The next day I show up and there she looking as maganda as ever. We picked up right where we had left off talking and laughing for the next hour. I paid the bf and off we went to join another couple at the SM mall for dinner before going back to the hotel.
After dinner we were walking around the mall when we spotted a tv advertising the Manny Pakiow boxing match. She mentioned that she planned be watch the fight at her cousins house. Oops! , the light bulb just went off inside my head, the boxing match starts at 7am in the morning. Better get this girl back to the hotel quick. We went back to the hotel and had one great love session, no complaints there. After, I jumped into the shower for a quick rinse. When I finished, I pulled the curtain back to see my lady fully dressed and waiting on the edge of the bed. "Oh, you got to be kidding me! " I said. She just sat there silently. Then I said "okay runner, whatever". I put my clothes on and walked her to the front of the hotel and said goodbye. As I turned she said. "but I have no money for a ride back? ", I gave her 40P and said "here, if you need more, get it from your cousin. " I then walked back into the hotel without looking back.
I had done a good interview in the bar and asked all the right questions, but she sure surprised me in the end. Just shows that anything can happen in AC.

Posts: 23Cebu Pacific Flights to Clark
Last week I purchased a roundtrip ticket Bangkok/Clark for the second week in November for 5500 Baht. My travel agent said that was a promotional fare and the normal fare will be about 5000 Baht more.

Hello,
I have stayed two weeks in AC in August. It is the rainy season over there.
Taxi from Manila airport to AC 2.300 Peso PHP and from AC to airport 2.700 Peso PHP by hotel service. I know you could use the bus instead.
Hotel Swiss Chalet: room per night 1.450 Peso PHP, girlfriendly, safe deposit boxes inside room.
Current prices:
- barfine LT from 1.300 to 1.500 Peso PHP
Lt from midnight including morning and afternoon 4 o'clock (p.m.) .. that means 3 fucks ;-)
NOT extra money/tip, food and drinks only for your barfined girl
I have not got information of GoGo bars, because I do not like to go barhopping with my barfine. We have stayed in her bar only or at restaurants.
Please, do not pay per BBFS, do pay per timeline.
The Worst was the small kids in the streets asking for money. NEVER give they something!
This is my barfine for 2 weeks, hope you will be inspired now.
Regards
