Posts: 213Ge: You are incorrect. Once the child obtains status as a US citizen, the mother may seek derivative status based on her blood relation to the child.
I completely agree that it is despicable to impregnate a Filipina then never help her with support. LOADS do it, both Filipino and foreigner, because the incompetent government is so fixated on increasing the population at all costs (thanks to the Church which really runs the country) that it neglects to adopt and enforce a child support system.

True enough about the child, but not about the lady. She has no right to citizenship whatsoever.

If you manage to impregnate a filipina, and she has the child,, the simplest thing for you to do is to take her and the child to your embassy in Manila and register it. It then automatically has your citizenship, and is entitled to a passport. This gives the child, and her mother, automatic access to your country.
I have known a couple of guys who have done this. It is easy, and most embassies encounter this situation reasonably frequently.
Quicker, simpler, easier and cheaper than going to a lawyer.
And as a citizen, the kid has access to your medical system in case of serious illness.

congratulations poopbunny
it's really good to see a guy taking responsibility for his actions and one who cares about his (potential) kids.
it really amazes me how often you meet filipinas who say the father just left her when she about 6 months pregnant (and no longer sexy). so many guys in the philippines just don't care about the girl - and often the girls are actually very nice people if you get past the 3 f way of thinking.
a few years ago i used to see a receptionist from one of the hotels. then on my next trip there i found out she got pregnant, pretty much at the time i was there.
she said though, that it wasn't mine, but another foreigner (an aussie).
when you calculated the time exactly, it "seemed" she was right. the aussie guy did help her and as she was really nice girl i also helped her a little.
sometimes i think i should help her more. she never asked for money or anything and wanted to just keep working at her job (low salary of course) and be a good mother.
not all girls are bola bola goldiggers.
thanks poopbunny for reinforcing there are caring responsible guys still out there who treat women well.
and please no stupid replies saying all hookers are just for one thing only. that reminds me of an english girl i met once in europe who recently had bad sex with a european guy. the words she used to describe sex with him i will never forget: "he wanked himself in my ****". great way to make love huh! :)

Let's face it girls told me they Bareback with 90% of their clients, and most aren't on the pill, so most of us might be fathers: (
What amazes me is that she can recall which guy is the father, or if that's a fantasy of the client the girl liked the most that she met during her "windows of opportunity".

Posts: 390I don’t know whether it is conscience or paternal instinct but I could not bear the thought that I would have a child languishing in poverty anywhere.
If I was told about it, I would engage a local independent lawyer or something to arrange blood test for DNA to verify paternity. If I was indeed the father, I would make arrangement to send money and seek immigration consultants to repatriate them if possible or if not, make frequent visits to AC (that can’t be bad).
And that is just the easy part, the toughest part would be breaking the news to mum/dad, thank god I’m single.
Some years ago I had a good thing going with this tight hottie. One day she told me I got her pregnant but she terminated the pregnancy. She was on the pill, but apparently that stops working when you are on antibiotics. I never saw her again despite my efforts to contact her. I live in a country where single mothers are supported with a generous welfare system, so I often wondered if maybe she lied to me and I might have an offspring somewhere.

Hehe, met a girl yesterday I've barfined 2 or 3 times some time ago. 2005 or so.
But her formerly flat stomach was destroyed.
Me: Hey, you were pregnant?
She: Yeah, got a baby 4 months ago.
Me: And the father? Takes care of you?
She: No.
Me: Why not??
She: I didn't tell him.
Me: Philipino?
She: No, guy from UK.
So, any guys from UK out there, maybe you're father and aren't aware of it.
The lucky shot must have been then approx. July 2007.
Also pretty unusual, that the girl didn't tell the guy about it to get some money.
But who knows? Maybe even she isn't sure about it.
Stories in this bizarre place.... :D
Cheers!

Anyway this forum is about Reports and information on Angeles City.
Regarding your message to Jimmy Red Cab, I think most people who plan a trip for the first time will read the first say 3 pages, if they don´t find what they are looking for they start to ask questions. That is at least my opinion. If somebody does not like to repeat what has allready been said, it is very easy just to ignore the post.

Posts: 1290Always wondering, how people can get into trouble online.
It's just the web. Who cares?
If someone disagree with me or attacks me, I give a shit on it.
Different opinions, that happens, it's normal, so what??
Real life is going on outside and is much more fun! :D
With greetings from AC! :D
Cheers!

Posts: 4567Did I defame someone or did BD? My analogy to "puppy dog" was rather tame I thought. I didn't get to see BDs response -- was he shtting on the carpet again? (Joke)
Junior was actually doing well contributing to the Philippine board, but had problems on the Thai board. His enemies then came over to the Phil. thread and attacked him here. They then disappeared as soon as Junior was banished. I was kind of surprised, but when I read some of the posts on the Thai thread I could see he was part of the problem.
At least that's the way I remember it. I'm not trying to defend Junior, nor criticize Jackson't moderation, but it just shows how things can get out of hand.
Anyway, I'll be looking forward to BD's field reports. It will be interesting to see how things turn out for him.
