Hi to all,

this week, starting tomorow is the "search for the atlantis godess".

Its a foto shooting at wild orchid starting at 2pm if Im not that mistaken. So all the beauties can be seen there.

On Saturday the main event will take place at Atlantis. Nice guys like me get a VIP card which alows them to be in first row. So, I guess I have to shoot some fotos for the board here :D.

All in all AC is a bit quiet. Empty bars, many girls. Good time to be there.

I talked to a swiss guy who was the first time in ANgeles city. He usually mongers in Pattaya and he told me he allways go to Asia off season , cause its to crowded in high season. With that said he add, its very cheap in Angeles city compared to the Pattaya clubs and girls are qute young here and pretty.

I guess it was me who sent you this private message, I never said I was on a budget, I asked for a cheaper Hotel for a 16 night stay than 57 USD per night. And thanks to Gangles he has warmly recommended Central Park.

Regarding my 16 night stay because I have read there are little other activites either than mongering that is why I have asked if there would be better to Split Manila and AC. I guess Cebu is a bit far out.


Regarding my Experience in Asia it is ZERO, but maybe I would like some advice on what bars are good and what which are not as good. I guess I have read about the price range of these bars and got good info on it.

An PI summary for newcomers on a budget

I recently received a pm from an apparent newcomer to Phil. who is on a budget and is thinking of staying in AC for 16 days. He asks me for advice, but doesn’t tell me how he likes to spend his time. The short answer is if you want to drink and fk at low cost, then AC is the place for you. I personally wouldn't stay in AC for more than three/four days -- unless I was in love.

Let’s assume you want to do more than hang out in AC waiting for the bars to open. For a change of scenery you can easily get to Subic Bay which has an average beach and some bars for the hobby. Manila is worth a few days, but is more expensive and stressful (beggars, traffic jams, noise, pollution, etc). Out of Manila you could easily make a one day trip to Tagaytay and the volcano. Beautiful scenery there.

From Manila you can easily fly to most cities for about 5-6000 round trip. From AC, I think SEAIR flys to Cebu city. There are also overnight ferries and you should be able to get a cabin for the same price as a hotel room. Search “Super Ferry”, but there are other companies.

You can find hotels for less than 1000 peso, but they tend to be simple. In AC, you can find some bargains down toward the Perimeter area.

When you stay in this area you are near some bars, but the top notch bars on Fields will be 8pesos away by jeepney, or 70 pesos by tricycle.

Hehe.jst sitin at wildorchid in subic with my Gf and l realized again why germans(and lm sure your german)dont have a good reputation in angeles city.Now,if you allready have to cut on the cost going there ,better stay away from angeles city.l assume you mean 11.50am.So here my advise,take a cab to manila swagmann hotel,its around 100p and get fly the bus 3.30pm to angeles city for 600p.Now,you have to kill 2 hours when being at swagmann and waiting for the ride.Lucky you,there is a 7 11 nearby,beer is just 23p,instead of 66p for a draft beer at swagmann.Hope that helps.

my request was not due to lack of funds, I have more than enough, I can assure you, I am arriving at 11 50pm, and have not been to AC, was just wondering if someone wanted to share a 2 hour ride and shoot the shit, share stories and have a beer.

for the most part we are all looking for the same thing here, so, do not be so quick to judge, if you want, I will be happy to buy you a beer if you are in AC this weekend (heck, I'll even spring for an import beer if you like)

as far as money goes, that is not something that I lose sleep over, I do "ok"

Thanks for the tip but I am sure. She is 5 hours from AC and has internet in her house. She chats every day before she goes to school and when she gets home. Besides she and her mother run the sari sari from 6 am to 12 pm. Her mother would kill her. LOL

Yet another raid, courtesy of the local PNP (station 4) was done/conducted on Friday night early in the evening hours. The bar that was "hit" was Paradise. 2 mamasans and one girl were taken into custody. As of yesterday they had not been released as apparently on the weekends they cannot have an agecheck done (this is where they use a dentist to check the girls teeth to determine age. This at most is 70% effective). My sources tell me that the girl in question is 19 years old and looks it (meaning that she does look less than 18). Paradise bar will not be open until Monday at the earliest.

This is just another BS raid that is killing the local economy (bars) and driving away potential tourists. I have been seeing less and less tourists on the streets, especially Fields Ave. These raids seem to be occurring with greater frequency and this will certainly lead to harder times for the bars of AC. Years ago and numerous times since then I have been told that Pampangans (the local province of which AC is included) are the cockroaches of the Philippines and with each "out for themselves" or extortion attempt that goes on, just goes to prove that statement is so very true (yes there are exceptions, but on a general basis the statement is so very true imo, which is based on years of living here)

An update, the girl and mamasans are still being held. They will now not be released until Tuesday at the earliest (Monday is a holiday here in the PI).
The girl in question was 19 years old, she had all the proper paperwork, Including a NBI certified copy of her birth certificate, she is also married, he husband went down to the PNP station 4 and STILL she was NOT released.

Paradise bar opened their doors earlier today at 5pm, but by 7:15pm the "authorities" closed them down AGAIN.

This seems to be a theme with you. The Angeles area has certainly attracted and bred whole generations of scum, thanks to the base and the culture that went with that. But you don't have to get very far from Balibago to meet Pampanguenos of quality. Have you spent much time in ordinary towns like Lubao, or Santo Tomas, or Apalit? I think you'll find most of the locals to be decent people, no better or worse than those from any other province. It's AC that's the exception.

I have not had extensive travels to those outlying areas that you mentioned, but have in the surrounding towns near AC. That said I do not disagree with you and you are correct, I should have worded my statement with better geographical precision (specifically AC and the surrounding towns and area's). It is a theme and the theme has been built on many years of living here and numerous interactions with the locals (in and near ac), my opinion was not based off of a single visit, or 5 visits, but rather as previously stated years of living here and my experiences.

l will stay at the new wildorchid hotel over there and report how things improve.
weather in ac is very nice,no rain,clear skies,a bit hot at the afternoon though.

Asianlover2, I'm not often in champange, cause when I'm there I can forget the next day completly. The papasan is a pinoy who also does speak german. So I agree with FW on this, they just pissed the gurl stayed with you, gave them an excuse and you skip the steady barfine. I had allmost the same problem with my GF, when she left the bar for some time she got fine 5k when she start working again, cause they just assume she stays with me and while she is a stunner she is also a good earner for the establishment. She makes easy 25000p a week with drinks and a lot of bola2.

You bought her a laptop? PLease read my post about camgurls. And even its your 25 th time in Angeles city you will never know. I'm here all the time and what I learned is, seeing is believing.

Like mentioned before, business is business and why should the papa san aproach you in person? I would also let my staff handle this, cause thats what they paid for, right?

We have allways to look at both sides to make a judgement. And because its most of the business these days in AC, it would be also handled like a business.

And I know about 'seeing is believing' too. I have bedded down a few cam girls myself. And when I visit I see her 1/2 of my stay. The other half is to sample new talent.

She is a steady girl. Not my only girl. I would never have a 'GF' unless I lived there.
