AC is a fun town, if you just want bars and there is now the mall, not that long ago even getting to the mall was a pain. That said I love to start my vacation there with a few days of nothing but fucking and drinking, may be a movie or two. After that raidy to move on to a place with a beach. I have stayed at the Southern Cross.

It is a low cost, hotel, targeted at the budget conscious monger. Great location, rooms are OK, recent fitout, so everything works.

Good value for money. gf.

And the owner is generally there, so you have recourse if you are not happy.

My only problem was that my internet booking did not register on their system, so when I got there it was just by luck that there was a spare room.

Bar is very homely, good atmosphere. Food is OK, reasonable price and quality.
