A friend today, April 10 exchanged USD at Normas for 56.10. Heck of a good rate. Prime rate was 56.23. Other money exchangers were at 55.80.

Last time, I checked them all. There are a series of money exchangers across MacArthur from Johnnys down to opposite McDonalds, then all the way up Fields, including the shops opposite Phillies etc. And Normas. Though on the second last of those visits Normas was best, I also got a good rate on one of the pawn shops opposite Phillies and one one of the shops opposite McDonalds / Phillies. Interestingly, a place directly oposite Johnnys had been best a year ago but this time, when I truthfully told them others had better rates, they told me to flk off.

Though Normas is popular with the hired hos, this time vans full of Koreans were pulling up to it, probably getting a good deal with kick backs.

I can confirm that Camelot has reopened under a different name, which I forgot. I haven't been in there yet, but will report back.

Camelot was open around November and / or January for numerous nights. I believe it was open for both months. It was open yesterday on April 8. I believe it re-opened during 2023 (Wasn't it around January of 2023?). Some bars close on Mondays, some bars close on and off.

Waitresses (who are paid below minimum wage) and bargirls are normally not permanent employees. Permanent employees pay into SSS (the Philippine Social Security).

I heard of a bar owner that had to pay one of his permanent employee 50 K pesos because he fired him incorrectly. But on the other side, an employee cannot quit without notice. He has to give a 4 week notice; if he doesn't, the owner can sue him for economic damage.

Don't believe the NonSense on this forum. Barfines range from 4,000 to 5,000, (with one easily anvoided exception) and there are more pretty, young, slim girls than I can handle. What is completely evident is that there are very few attractive, young, slim girls available to barfine, why, because they are in such short supply they can earn huge drink commissions from staying in the bar and not fucking with anyone, yes its possible to get laid in Angeles but it sure as hell is not going to be with one of the better looking girls that is in extreme demand for drinks only.

Naively, on my first visit to Angeles I expected to stroll down Walking Street and get laid within five minutes.

My advice to others would be to do your 'work' during the day, subtlety communicating at every chance about your intentions, whether that be via the hotel security guard, the guy at the convenience store etc, They'll find you a decent girl (and obviously get a cut out of it) . To prove the naysayers wrong I visited some K bars last night. First up was Genesis, which had two cuties I was interested in a couple weeks ago, but didn't pull the trigger on. There was a Korean guy handing out pesos to the girls, which I felt would make it difficult for me to barfine, so I moved on. Last night those girls were not there, but there was a different cute girl. She smiled at me and probably her sister, who looked just like her but was fat, even did that thing where she gestures at her for me to take her. But I hesitated because she had a small tattoo on her back.

The big fat mama gave the girls a lecture, and they were very attentive. Key works I heard were "long time," "emergency," "short time. " I asked a waitress to clarify, and it was hard to follow, but it had to do with when girls go home early, Korean customers come back the next day and ask for a refund, while Westerners do not. So the customer will have to sign a piece of paper if the girl wants ST. At least that's what I think she said. The ST price is only 500 less than LT.

I had good experiences in Bunny in the past, despite the annoying, loud "DJ". Unfortunately now the mama always sits with me and I have to give her 100 pesos. However, when I was in AC at Christmas, I am not sure if Camelot was open (or closed). If LIH saw it was closed in February, he is probably correct. Anyone with details of timeline of closing of Camelot feel free to update.

As far as short time, long time or anything else then how long is a piece of string.

Every girl is different, every bar is different, only by buying a lady drink and asking the girl directly does she barfine, is she a cherry girl, does she have her monthlies, is she a drinks only girl, barhop only girl, will she stay 1 hour or 24 hours, does she give a blow job, does she allow bare back, does she swallow, is she a 3 holer etc will one get correct info, lets not forget each girl is different and also the same girl might give different answers to who ever is asking.

Lots of NonSense on this board. I'm too busy having a good time to keep up with the NonSense here, but to help out any guys stuck in the West contemplating a trip, there are lots of pretty girls in the bars. My biggest problem is which girl in her 20's am I going to bang next? Q Bar, Shooters, Monsoon, Geckos, Lollipop, Insomnia, Old Bar are Western Style bars where the girls are flirty and accessible. Geckos, Q Bar and Shooters are particularly stocked with sexy young girls.

Yeah, the other bars are Korean style, but my money is welcome in them and they have pretty girls. These bars are not for a fun night out drinking. The best approach is to tell the mama what you are looking for, and she will recommend a cutie to go with you. That's what I did at Skyfall, and I was satisfied with the cute twenty year old.
