I just recieved a text message from a girl from A.C. stating the feds raided a "locked down bar" in Angeles City and took all the girls, including the mamasan to jail in Manila. Anyone who is in Angeles hear or see this take place?. Those who have traveled to A.C know what a locked down party is in a bar.

EXTRA caution is being asked of the public after City Hall was alerted to the presence of a foreigner said to be positive of the Human Immuno-deficiency Syndrome (HIV), the virus responsible for AIDS, who is sexually active and refuses to use protection in his encounters with local women.

The City Hall received e-mail reports from police intelligence regarding this Caucasian man who is said to be a long-term resident of the Philippines with a tourist or balikbayan visa but who does not have a work permit or a marriage contract to support his balikbayan visa.

The report said the man has at some periods stayed in Davao, Surigao, Butuan, Gingoog, and Cagayan de Oro.

The foreigner is described to be around 5'3" in height, in his mid-fifties, has brown eyes and a heavy body build, with short hair, and clean shaven. He has lots of tattoos and drives a motorcycle with a Philippine license.

The man is also said to be intelligent and manipulative with a history of pay-offs to the police and other Philippine authorities. Also, that he has a criminal record in his country.

Sightings of the said foreigner should be reported to the police and other local authorities.

I am sure if the guy is in the Philippines he was in or will be in Angeles City at some time.

You also may want to watch out for bar girls from Davao. They could be infected and dormant. When the girls go to the clinic for their health check. They don't check for HIV. It is pretty much a simple pap smear. A lot of other STD will not show up either than can be transmitted.

Be careful and always use a condom if you don't want the headaches.

I usually try to avoid high season periods with the associated downside. The weather should be good now though. How busy is March through April? Is this a good time to visit. Never having been to PI, I'm looking to avoid the crowds in Cebu and Davao.

I add a good map, covering bars and hotels along 300 meter of Fields Av. which is the most important areas I think. Hope someone find it useful. Perimeter road is at the left of Fields Av. Up to the left, outside the map, is Clark freezone where the airport is.

Maybe someone can say more about the new hotels, standards and room rates at near 100USD. Just rip-off or does this give any value for money?

I go to AC by end of Feb, but think a hotel at 35 USD should be max. These 1800 PHP is more than 10 days work for those people there!

It is rude for someone to do that, but you know what? We aren't dealing with angels. We ourselves could be nice people, but you are always going to have some rude people who don't give a lick about other people's feelings or whatever. Is it worth getting in a fight over? I highly doubt it unless someone is doing somebody bodily harm. What would be the point of getting into a fight? This is AC or wherever it may be in a P4P scenario. It to me would not be worth the energy or the possibility of bodily harm or worse. We have a potpourri of people here: women looking for money and/or love, drunks, good people looking for fun, jerks, whatever. No reason to trip. It's a losers game. I never understood this original concern of someone asking your barfine for her number. If it upsets the barfiner so much, he's got to get real. Look where it's happening. If it's your real girlfriend or wife, what the hell are you doing barhopping in AC? Anyway, all I'm saying is it's not worth getting all jacked up. Good point WebConnexxion. I don't really understand the thinking of barhopping with the bar girls. I really don't think there is anything good coming out of it in the end. The woman might see friends or family of hers and get you to buy drinks for them, and they become instant spies for her as you prance around with her. Another woman you might have been with thinks negatively of you for coming to her bar with another woman. I know it really ain't crap but if you want to play the game it doesn't hurt to respect her in some ways. Of course, running into guys that do what this original issue of someone trying to get your barfine's number. Personally, I don't really care, as I know the game. Just because you barfined her, doesn't mean you own her for whenever. Get real. Sure it spoils it for you a little bit, but it also grounds you in reminding you where you are. Exactly. The whole point of going to a bar is to find one you may like. Bringing a girl with you automaticly tells the other girls at the bar that you are taken. They do not want to step on the toes of the other girls.

For the most part Filipina girls are not swingers. Most of them are really looking for a real husband, so they don't think you are cool seeing you go from bar to bar picking up different girls. But of course they know from them it is a job and most guys are out for a good time.

I know what you mean, but in the Philippines it is VERY common for others to eat of each others plate. They also use their fingers and hands. If they do use utensils it is a fork and spoon rather than a knife.

There are many hotels at 20-60 U.S. dollars per night here and you get all you need.You can stay at ck\larkton great pool quiet great staff and food.New large room for 60 per night.Oasis is great also and thats 70 per night.Premier hotel is 27 per night nice place good pool.Horizonhill hotel 23 per night good staff clean quiet travel agent inhouse all you need under 1 roof.
