I would hardly call it the biggest party in town. Objectively speaking it is probably the biggest party in any hotel. High Society when things were open was always a bigger party and cheaper to boot, but there isn't a pool in high society, so maybe that's the deciding factor for you.

I've never stayed in ABC, it never seemed worth the money to me. I have been to Aqua a few times and have female friends who liked to go there regularly because they would get free drinks from the bar tenders. Girls get in for free. Guys pay 500 entrance consumable. The few times that I was there there were always more employees there than customers. And the live musician was so bad I was on the verge of offering them money to just stop playing.

As a pick up scene, theres just not enough people that go there on a regular basis. Sure if you stay in the hotel, it doesn't cost you anything to pop in and check it out, but as an outside, unless you're going with people. For 500 entrance, its not worth it.

Not outrageously expensive for what are essentially 3-3. 5 star hotels.

ABC however, takes the cake with its pricing. I've stayed there on a few occasions but yes, totally not worth the price except if you have excess dollars to burn for a weekend. It's only about half a notch more comfortable than Queens and CPT but nearly double their prices. Though ABC tries too hard with the 'luxury' it tries to portray. Still, it's the biggest party in town and the go to place of you want to be seen showing off.

There are other notable places like winds boutique hotel, ambassador suites, kandi tower 3, La Grande Residences and AC Luxe. All in the price range of $40-70 per night for their basic rooms. All also have pools if that's your thing.

Or if you don't want a swimming pool there are a few good hotels right on the walking street that a comfortable, clean and cost a third of ABC price.

AC will probably never be a glimmer of what it was but if you can make it there there are better options for places to stay. Plenty of Kandi Towers and other condos on Airbnb for less than ABC (1200 to 200 pesos per night, 25-40 USD). Kandi has pool, rooftop bar, gym, restaurants, convenience store, and many other options. Walking street is closed and Phillies and Envy are heavily saturated with ladyboys.

Plus they have free car shuttle to airport (Clark) and Walking street, and for a fee anywhere else.

I want a really nice hotel in Angeles City, but all I can find that I know is quality is the Marriott. So I was wondering if a few of you guys in the know would tell me: 1) is it girl friendly? Sounds silly in the Philippines to have to ask that question, but if there is one hotel that might be difficult, it would be the Marriott. 2) Does anyone have experience with the ABC Hotel? I seem to remember I have seen reviews here, but everything is so full of COVID talk that after 30 minutes, I gave up looking. 3) Clean, not too far from the action, good WiFi and a big room for small parties are what I am looking for. Anyone have a suggestion? Many thanks, Mamaguevos.

First week in November you will know if Trump is re-elected or not. I don't really understand why you would call him King? But it really isn't for discussion in this forum.

There is a Angeles City Hotel forum. Is go back to page 5 to get your info. Plenty of info about ABC Hotel. Plenty of information on AC hotels on agoda.com.

You won't need to rely on good luck just do your due deligence.

    Aug 5th walkaround

Nothing new to report same ol dead town with nothing going on. 3's and 4's and bakla across from Envy and Phillies in New Freelancer park. Dozen of VVV's selling pills but nothing to sticky your boner in. NO end in sight for a date to reopen the bars.
