My guess, based mor o inference than fact is the when the country does re-open to international visitors, it will restrict the number of countries from which visitors are allowed, and US citizens will not among the first allowed entry given the inadequate response to the pandemic. But hell, that's just my guess.

    Have to fully agree.

Lets not forget that any would be visitor to the phills will have to spend a minimum 28 days in quarantine,14 days on arrival and 14 days on return to ones country.

As by far the most visitors to the Phills for mongering are short stay visitors then the quarantine periods required will make any trip to the Phills impossible for most.

Loans are still loans and you need to return hopefully without much interest.

Spending and investments create more sustainable jobs and businesses and in a way reduce reliance on loans.

So the loans you mentioned is already given, so is there new loans anytime soon just by opening foteign entry to them?

Jobs are created by POGO, tourism, real estate are direct economic benefits to the people, so the effects will be fast.

Look at how Koreans being preferred in philipines especially Angeles city where so many mongers, expats are lamenting and complaining being ignored by the girls.

Look at how people criticize Chinese and Koreans for over paying and girls just love these guys.

I m not planning, I m already staying in the philipines.

Hahaha. Does my English bother you that much?

By the way, I m not from China nor Korea.

You should check out the actual money that is exchanged at Governmental level before you make such silly statements. The money brought in by tourists in AC or POGO Chinese is chicken-feed compared to the bi-lateral loans and grants that other countries bestow on the Philippines. Have a look at OECD or ADB or WB charts.

BTW. If you plan to move to the Philippines as you stated, maybe you should learn to spell your new country correctly (and perhaps use a capital P as is the international convention).

I too forsee it will be the case, Chinese and Koreans money are the easiest way for Philipines economic recovery.

Past few years of economic growth is for us to see.

Its just matter of time and when philipines is comfortable w their virus numbers since Korea and China had theirs contained.

Some people just had to face reality that Chinese and Koreans are the new favorites of the philipines.

    Note my use of CAPITALS.

First incoming flights are presently scheduled for AFTER May 15 (mine is for May 17) and I am allowed to enter PH because I have a permanent (spouse) visa aka a Section 13 A. I have been stuck outside Philippines because all flights from where I am stationed were for OFWs only and the flights were filled.
This sums it up nicely what RK said. Some people are delusional or their balls are so big and full they ignore the virus as they must release the every growing agony LOL (so love thyself if so bad).

    .....
If you had a previously issued visa you cannot enter the country unless you are a 13 A. (I think diplomat are also allowed in but don't expect that many countries will be flying their diplomats around.

    SRRV cannot reenter the country.

The sweeper flights are very expensive. The Government of Canada sent me an email saying USD 2200 to Vancouver or 2900 USD to Toronto, one way.

Mandatory 14 day quarantine on arrival as well. Usually Manila to Vancouver on to Winnipeg is less than 1200 to 1500 RETURN.

Wouldn't flights to Guangzhou be exclusively to get Chinese out and back to their country? Same for Koreans and Japanese.

Look at living conditions for most poor pinoys, 10 people sleeping in one tiny room, from grandparents to new born babies, no access to clean running water, no sanitation, can you honestly see phills numbers lowering any time soon, I can see only massive gains due to this virus is extremely easy to catch when in close confinement and no running water.

Yes pinoys will eventually have to return to work for the economy but as phills prostitution is a tiny percentage of phills GDP it will be the last to open as is the least important to GDP.

Most Angeles bar owners are openly reporting that they cannot see themselves opening this year at all, many through no funds to keep paying expenses / bribes while they are earning zero pesos for months.

Many ex Angeles bar girls have moved on, multiple reports of ex Angeles bargirls earning far more cammimg and selling dreams to lonely white men all without having to have sex with grand daddy who is 300 lbs and rarely washes.

As far as ford trucks herd immunity well there is none, as has been explained to member ford truck multiple times its possible to catch covid 19 again and again, many proven cases of this in the news.

Mongering in sea will change for good IMHO and may take several years to start to show recovery if at all, hope that I'm wrong but I seriously doubt it.
Europe and US take up the bulk of the 3. 5 million numbers and containment is nowhere in sight.

Asia contrastly is flattening and some countries are beginning to lift entry restrictions cautiously.

Philipines though has a tough road ahead but selected areas are still possible to go into GCQ in few weeks.

Country is desperate and soon hunger will strike the citizens.

Its not about prostitution GDP, its about the whole economy and Chinese, Koreans are contributing quite an amount on online gaming, real estate and tourist aspects.

Angeles city bars are just a big joke w the inflated prices and low quality now, it only affects the bar owners and mongers patronisng them. Smart girls will still go online for their trade.

When philipines do allow entry of foreigners, top of list will be China, Korea and those w low virus numbers.

Europe and US have to clear their huge virus numbers before even dream of being in the list.
