After you get out take terminal to terminal free bus to terminal 3. Look for P2 P that is point to point bus for approx 250 pesos. Bus will take approx two and half hours to SM mall. Take a trike if you have luggage or walk to your hotel. Check in. If your hotel says room is not ready like somebody said go for 2 hour massage and you rest. If you feel frisky go to one of those bars which open early. Have a drink or two, pick a girl so that when the room is ready you are ready to screw her brains out. If you do not plan to keep her throw her out and give a well deserved rest to your old bones.

I fail to see your problem. Just go to Angeles immediately. I hope you realise that it will take 3 hours at that time of day. You will arrive in Angeles at about 10.00 am. If the room is not ready, as DG suggested, go and get a 2 hour massage with a nice handjob finish. It will take the edge off. The hotel will let you use the shower in the pool area if you want to freshen up.

It is not a good idea to go into Manila as you will be wasting time in the traffic.

Agreed. By the time the OP goes thru Cusoms, Immigration, meets his car, does the drive and grabs some breakfast on arrival he won't be too early.

Many hotels will check him in early maybe with a minor charge.

Of course the room can also be booked one day early with a note of check in time to guarantee its availability and a bed to sleep in after a long flight.

Personally, I would just catch my ride to Angeles if that is your ultimate destination that day and not bother going into Manila for a few hours stay in hourly rate room. Traffic may not be your friend. You have options in AC I believe one is right above Carousel or very close by. Can't remember the name. I didn't like the place personally when I did it so prefer to just kill time at a restaurant or club. There will be some bars open at 10 am or so.

Some of my notes for my future reference (some may find useful).

- arrived real late 1 am. Traffic from Manila great. Head to Hi-so. Didn't like or find anything, this is my 3rd visit to Hi-so and the 3rd time I leave alone. My last visit (I said this the last 2 times) Visited a few bars, most places now about to close.

- next day head to my favorite bar Lollipop. Not as happening as before, I pay a visit nearly every day but not to my liking. One waitress recognises me, tells me my favorite girl has gone back to the provinces.

- I hit Viking a few times, the only hot girl is already pre-booked.

- Red. First time I pick up a girl from there. She stays LT without me asking, I buy her breakfast. I repeat with her.

- Cosplay. - Avoid. No takeout here.

The reason it should not be beyond you lies here: Culture. When we travel to other cultures, and see that other people do things differently than we do, sometimes we think their (new to me) system is crazy. However, its possible that they also think my system is crazy. As an example, look at going to the restroom. Asians might believe in the water-cleaning method down there, while westerners might believe in the toilet paper method (push-and-smush). Tipping is another example.

In that vein, many westerners don't view the transaction (especially gogo bar girls) as a transaction. They view it as a date, and that includes the interviewing process. Dating involves getting to know someone. Bar owners understand that psychology (the same way the car dealerships train salespersons to treat male and female buyers differently (selling a car to a man, you talk specs; selling a car to a lady, you talk safety features). I have spoken directly to men about this sitting at Kokomo's. To them, its clearly dating. They say the damdest things to indicate this. "Last night my barfine didn't want to BJ when we got to the room". I see, did you mention your need for BJ in the bar? "Hell no. When I date a girl I want a girl that loves to BJ". Did you say date? "I want a girl that will WANT to suck my dick. I don't want to have to talk about that stuff first". Whoa! His ignorance (in thinking he's dating, while she is thinking its a transaction) is showing, and his culture is showing.

To ME (and me), its a transaction. "You can't fence time". Not sure who said that, but its a good analogy for culture. You've noticed its difficult trying to change a pinay's ways. Getting her to be somewhere on time, for example, might be a chore even after you've known her for a decade. Another example: I have great trouble in my condo in getting ALL of my regulars to NOT use the counter-top stove to cook food in a pan. Use the microwave please. I even show them how: Put 4 hot dogs on a plate, insert plate into microwave, set timer for 90 seconds, turn on unit. When done cooking, remove and eat. Yet, even after showing that, they will attempt to use a pan, cooking oil, and the stove-top oven. In a condo, that's dangerous. The smoke from the heating oil will set off the smoke alarm. Have had several girls set off the smoke alarm, even after warning them not to use the stove-top oven for any reason. I have since taken to unplugging the stove-top oven or turning it off at the circuit breaker (have had the same girl set off the smoke alarm MORE THAN ONCE by cooking in this manner). The girls grew up with this method of cooking.

Bars have known this foreigner psychology for decades. Just look at the procedure (not developed by customers, developed by bars) that has been in place and working (against customers, ala las vegas style) for a long time: Customer sits, orders a drink, calls for a girl, buys her a drink, asks questions, buys another drink, asks more questions, risks rebuke, maybe barfinesl; if not, start over. This is great for the bar and the girls, its not so good for the customer, who seems to be fine with this procedure.

For Broplex and others who complain that they buy a drink to find out the girl is on her mens (or worse, she mentions it first and THEN he buys a drink), let me help. When you see that hottie you want so bad, ask the mama to bring the hottie to you. But first, mention to the mama several things. You can ask which girls are on their mens. Maybe the mama will tell you (she knows), or maybe she won't know. Tell her you want to chat with THAT girl. "Ask her if she want to chat with me. I can buy her a drink. But I'm not interest to that if she has a blood, or if she is not interested to barfine. If she's not wanting a barfine tonight, let me know". Its quite possible the mama will tell you right away to choose another girl, as the mama knows of the blood, or the mama knows of that you are not of the girl's preference for Koreano (or such).
