Yeah, Shakey's is still big in Asia, and especially in The Philippines. The first time that I can recall ever going out for pizza was at a Shakey's! So, I had to go when I was in The PI and saw one, and I didn't get sick. But, I didn't have scallops either (which I love). That is kind of meta talking about super bugs, this is stuff punters actually promote and do, and it is relevant in a hobby specific way. A lot of guys who partake in this hobby do take antibiotics and flood their systems as a preventive measure but have no idea about the side effects that they will be left with, nor do they really understand the severity of the side effects.

EDIT: on second though you make a good point, on the surface your argument sounds like it is for " the good of the people" as in the world that was my misunderstanding, if these guys religiously take these antibiotics and contract an antibiotic resistant strain, that IS a huge problem for us. They are weeding out and cultivating particularly resistant strains of these diseases by using this as a preventative.

Never mind blindness and ruptured tendons. Have none of you armchair doctors and part time pill poppers never heard of antibiotic resistance? A whole shitload of doctors are extremely worried about it and your behaviour is doing nothing to help matters. Antibiotics are meant to be curative, not preventative. Yes there are exceptions, but going on a fuck trip is not supposed to be one of them!

As a punter who has never shared a needle, never gotten a blood transfusion, tainted or otherwise, never engaged in receptive anal sex or any other kind of sex with another man, never engaged in sex with anyone while I had an open sore or bleeding wound on my genitals or any other body part that would come in contact with my partner while having sex and never intend to do so, I must say I for one am not alarmed or worried by what I read and see on those links. For my own safety and the safety of my partners, that is. Sure, I am alarmed and worried about those who do those things and have found themselves acquiring or transmitting HIV as a result. There have been a few papers about it and other Fluoroquinolones causing permanent blindness caused by pressure in the skull basically which eventually leads to blindness.

You should really not advise other people to do this antibiotics especially Azithromycin can cause Tendon rupture for up to 6 months after you take it along with over very severe symptoms such as a C. diff infection which you would have to have a stool transplant to fix, doxycycline can also cause permanent vision loss or blindness so keep that shit in mind if you take this stuff for recreation. The graphic in the YouTube video indicates "14% involving M-F-M" sexual transmission. Meaning this is another example of the survey takers (or the survey analysts) mysteriously combining Male-to-Female with Female-to-Male contact. As far as anyone looking at that graphic knows, >13.5% is due to Male-to-Female sexual contact and <0.5% due to Female-to-Male sexual contact. Yes, it could be the other way around as well. But something tells me if it WERE the other way around, the survey takers or analysts would have cited that result in their surveys separately and as clear and unambiguously as a flashing neon stop sign with an active air horn sounding off next to it.

Further, there is no inclusion of easy to recognize and avoid co-factors accompanying any or all of the heterosexual (or homosexual) transmissions; open sores, bleeding wounds, etc.

Azithromycin and doxycycline it stops you from getting the drips.

You should instead take this within the first 24 hours of any sign of infection which is enough time to grab a script but it is nice to have it on hand ready to go at any sign of infection you should NOT take this if you have no signs of infection the risks are just as bad as what you are curing in some cases. Unless you think tendon rupture and blindness is cool. Fluoroquinolones are more potent and can cause way more damage than any illegal drug you can get your hands on. Especially if you happen to be 30+ which most of this demographic is. If you take anything preemptively it should not be anything more than Amoxicillin and if you want to have these extremely potent drugs on hand that is up to you but doing cycles of this is not good. These should only be taken if absolutely necessary.

I think that it is unrealistic to expect a "safe" STD free environment you have to just accept that, that is a risk, you can use your own test kits if you are so inclined but if you are going to take part in this hobby you have to be honest with yourself and realize that you are putting yourself at risk which is why I prefer to date either very green women who are not in the sex industry "yet" or single mothers who have recently given birth and haven't had a sex partner since. I still arrange a compensated dating arrangement but ladies who decide that selling themselves is going to be their living is a dramatically different situation than one that just wants the bills paid and where the term "compensated dating" comes into play.
