In Angeles I have found good food. There are some places at the malls that are good and not really local food. I don't like the Filipino dishes much but have found a few that are good.

Good Chinese food right next to johnnys market on the main highway.

Find a local girl and she may be able to take you to the best local places. I can ask some girls I know but they are sleeping now. Great food in Subic base also. I have found a few good places. I am bad at remembering names and I don't always go too local. The locals can eat cheap as they know where to go but I am spoiled and spend more for the food I like. I hate the chain food stores. Like McDonalds, Jollibee and etc.

The difference is that in the Philippines you need to seek out a particular restaurant or western eatery for decent food. Whereas you can walk into nearly anywhere in LOS, Indonesia, Vietnam etc and you are likely to find a tasty meal. This is often regardless of star rating or cost.

I do know where to get a nice meal in PI but I dare not go anywhere else if I want to be sure of something nice. In Indonesia, I just stop anywhere convenient.

I think you were mostly being facetious ED, but since I started this, let me just say this about that subject generally speaking. So far my view is that for the traveling monger, the food in The Philippines is shit only if one chooses to succumb to eating nothing but bad food. I have found some outstanding, high-quality restaurants in The Philippines, particularly in metro Manila.

Now granted, the average Filipino could not afford to eat in those places. So, like with poor people all over the world living in the hustle and bustle of the big city trying to eek out a living, they resort to eating what they can obtain, which is often the crappier quality stuff. But, there's no reason why mongers with money have to eat like that. And if you just look around a little bit, you will find some good eats. It wasn't hard, as I have already stumbled
To be clear, I've tried the "crap" too like Jollibee LOL! Crispy fried pork belly, lechon with garlic rice and a crispy chicken skins appetizer, and sizzling pork sissig with an egg in there. I may never come back to the Philippines, so while here I want to experience the local food culture some too and eat the kinds of dishes that Filipinos love to eat. I haven't made it to Angeles yet, but something is telling me it will be hard to find high-quality meals there. But, I bet if I look just a little bit, I will find at least one or two good places. We shall see!

Oh, and for the record, the best-tasting, clean-shaven pussy I've eaten so far has been out of the Burgos bikini bars hahaha!

Nearly impossible to find a woman over 25 that has a figure that is not a FAT "H" pattern. They don't even think they are fat. That's what eating a cup or two of rice at every meal gets you, and no exercise (20 min of zumba is not enough when you eat a half kilo of rice every day).

I wouldn't bother paying a woman over 25 in the Philippines to begin with, but you're right. Now they start getting fat much earlier. As stats show, one in four is overweight. About the same percent are mothers.

I'm not sure rice is to blame. Maybe not enough rice, and no excercise. Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar: rice eaters all yet the vast majority of the vast of women in these countries are very fit with great bodies.

The new breed of overweight Southeast Asians are mainly in the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand. Teen pregnancy is common in 2 of those 3 countries. Philippines may have the lone distinction of having an obesity epidemic alongside a malnourishment epidemic simultaneously.

The "lovely feminists" from Europe did a great job by making us believe that Africa is full of aids. Of course, Africa has the best environment to develop any kind of disease. But they are aware of that and even they have less means than most of us, they're still able to avoid them.
