This happens in 2014 my Bank (Standard Chartered Bank) informed me they are going to block my VISA card and replacing by new one. That made me surprised and relieved too. They told me a hotel (I'm not going to mention the hotel name) in Angles tried to charge my card where as that time I was visiting Hong Kong and as usual using my card. It was true a month before I stayed that hotel and they charged my card. If I use my card definitely they will know my card number and info but how come it is possible since my card is with me.

The Bank answered clone card may produce.

Where does this info come from? The PH entry card clearly states 10 K US (or equivalent in other currencies). Local PHP currency limited to 10 K PHP.

Probably low, but be aware some airports deploy canines trained to sniff out cash. No idea if PH deploys them (probably not) but I'm sure they (customs, not the dogs) would love to part you from the 15 K if found. 10 K USD is a good limit when you fly.

Prepaying hotels is great if you have a planned itinerary but you can also prepay while on the ground oversea's using this website.
The accommodation aggregators are great. Both for preplanning and last minute deals. Keep I mind that they are often the opposite of airlines, having 70 to 90% off deals on vacant rooms a day or two before arrival. Now I only book ahead for places I know fill quickly.

In my travels in and out of Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong I have never had them ask or search me for my cash. I place my cash in several places of my carryon or backpack. On the other hand I have never travel with more than $10,000 usd cash.
I know a guy who carried $15 K. Unfortunately, at Cebu, he was patted down and it was found. The entire $15 K was confiscated. He has to ultimately part with 50% of it to get the rest back and avoid further charges.

    Credit card use

Always have a way to call your credit card toll free number. Seems like even with travel notice to my credit cards (2) they cut me off for the slightest reasons and I have to call them to reactivate the cards.

Also the CC international call collect number has never worked for me.

On the other hand you do not need to carry that much cash for fun. You pay local airfare, hotels, resorts all with credit card. Restaurants you can pay with credit card as well. Unless you plan to give $500 a shot you do not need that much cash.

It seems I may have to resort to multiple western union transfers but just seems like a pain in the arse. Don't have any pnb banks close to me. I thought about leaving a suitcase at a hotel in Thailand with a lock with remaining cash for when I return a few weeks later. Seems a bit risky and depending the on the order I tour I could end up short on cash once I hit philipines, Jakarta or Japan. Any recommendations?

But if I get one of those chicks at the foreigner spot that are $200 and have a shitty time then I would be angry or sad. And for the record, I can only remember a time or two that it has been shitty with a $12 girl (mainly the problem being attitude) so trying to convince me to grab a $200 one at this point is damn near impossible. Now if we were talking about a Yugo or Lexus then that would be different. Those are cars and they have proven track records as far as quality and dependability are concerned, plus they are durable goods that I am going to have more than a couple of hours. But I see pussy as pussy and I am not led by the nose by the makeup or clothes attached or not attached to it. Strip them both down to bare bones and you don't know which one cost how much.
This is one point I definitely agree with: high price is no guarantee of stellar performance. If anything, a stunner in a popular bar will have multiple options and less incentive to go beyond the call of duty.

The same goes for heading out determined to have a great night with a wallet full of cash. It's easy to spend it all but I've found the best nights have been unplanned and unforced.

On my last trip I upped it to 2000 from 1500 with my regulars. Big difference of appreciation. Got an extra shot in and they waited hour and half for me to recover for it.

I met a new one in the bar around 10:45 pm. She was thin and hot. I asked how much was the barfine? 2 k ST she replied. I said I would take her and she said she gets off at 11:00 and will just meet me at my hotel. I would just pay her the 2 k direct. She was tight and wet and horny as hell. She stayed for 3 shots until 6 am. 2 k plus 100 trike money.

In booking flights or hotels you essentially have perfect knowledge because you know what you are receiving for extra or discounted charges: eg pay extra to get more leg room or a nice breakfast. At best a girl might charge more simply because of her looks or 5 star work place but you have no idea of a new aquaintance's ability to perform or "click" with your preferences.

This holds with both sides of the argument: saying you can get the same experience at bargain prices or that you have to pay extra for quality is futile until you actually road test the goods.

The one argument that I do accept is that sometimes not paying the cost of entry can prevent a good time.
But you can't miss what you never had. If I wouldn't have sold that stock too soon I would be rich now. If if was a fifth we would all be drunk. In other words you can't worry about a good time that you never had. It can also swing the other way and you have buyers remorse because you paid so much and it turned out shitty.

I guess for me the idea is to find that sweet spot so that if it does turn out shitty, I didn't really lose too much. Like in Colombia when I go around to the $12 places. Also, once you have gained experience with so many chicks accepting a particular amount, say Mogwai's 1500, then you are like why the hell would I give someone 4000? Just like that plane ticket. I saw a ticket for the end of January for $162 the other day. Last night I looked and it was $212. I am going to wait until it falls back to $162 because I already witnessed that price so I know it is possible to get it for that so far in advance. There is no perfect knowledge when booking a flight. There may be a mechanical problem or bad weather which causes you to miss your connection and lose a day or two.

Same goes for the girls, pass up a suitable one she won't be there when you come back.
Anyone booking a Chinese flight must be prepared for in flight smoking, flight attendants being scalded with hot water, and other bad behavior. There is a very good reason for the Communist Party implementing a social credit system to curb rude and inconsiderate behavior among Chinese. Maybe, they will extend it to their people traveling abroad.
